Take a look at my topic, just a little ways down the page, called 'MA/WP Build Help'. Iggy gives me a build that is slightly better than yours. You would lose some global recharge(12.5%) but you would gain Max HP, some defenses, and regeneration.

Update: After respeccing into Iggy's build, I am experiencing a huge improvement in my survivability. I can confidantly jump into Roman groups on ITF runs. I am having End problems though. From time to time I turn off Assault to keep me fighting longer without popping a blue pill. But hey, I'm surviving! The only thing I have left to do is get the Kinectic Combat and Slugfest enhancements in my attacks. I have everything else though. Well, thanks again, Iggy, for all the help. I appreciate it.

I'm going input your build manually to see the stats and such. The data link won't work. But thanks for the effort. I will comment in a little while after I put it in.
Edit: Interesting build, heh, but I would suffer in quite a few areas compared to Iggy's build. Regen, Max HP, Global Recharge, and some Status resistances. I greatly appreciate your time to help me out though. -
Thanks for the build. It has a heck of a lot more def than I currently have. I just hate to give up my self-rez. Dealing with rez inspirations or waiting on a rez annoys me. Other than that, it looks good. You made it so my attacks recharge faster even with the 7.5% less global recharge. That's cool. It's only a little more end heavy than my current build but still sustainable. All in all, it's a very solid build. Thanks a lot. I will give it until the end of the week to see if anyone else comes up with anything. I'm going to work on the Kinetic Combats though. I know that most likely any build people come up with will involve those enhancements. I might as well work on getting them now.

This is going to be my staple melee character. I have tried a few other power combos but this is the most fun and stable to me. I love him and I want to get him to that 'Beast' level. Currently, I do 'good' in PvE. I never run out of End and I survive...for the most part. And that's what I want to change. I don't want to survive 'for the most part', I want to survive 'damn well'. I need soft capped...something, to help me do that. No matter how much I play around with Mids, I just can't find the right set combos to softcap defenses without sacrificing damage, end recovery, or recharge. That's why I come to you fine minds of the Scrapper forums. Please help a brotha out. I'm open to changing some powers or whatever but please keep in mind that I really want to keep my attacks and travel powers. So, if y'all can post some builds for me to look at or give advice, please do so. It will be greatly appreciated. Oh, I am lvl50 and this is my current setup and enhancements:

Yeah. You can't use "Jizz" in too many places. I always use variants of it, heh. Jizmako, Jizkino, etc. Some places don't even let you use anything with "Jiz" in it.

I will definitely give those people a shout. I will also try Cozmic's Playground channel. I already have PinnBadges channel but I seem to have no luck joining up with anyone on there. I was successful once but that was it, heh.
I see X-Funk in chat on PinnBadges quite a bit. He's argumentative but seems like he would be alright to team up with if you don't get suckered in by certain comments. (Lastnight's topic: WP vs Inv was funny)

Sup Pinnacle. I'm looking for a steady group to have fun and level with. I was dual with my wife but she just doesn't play consistently enough these days. Soloing is rather boring and it's been kinda hard to find PUGs. I'm not the type to start one myself so that brings me to the forum.

I took your advice and ran with it. With the changes I only suffer a 183 HP loss and .08% EndRec. I removed a slot from Slice to add onto AD. Lastly I took two slots from OwtS and added them to BU. Overall, not too bad. I'm going to go through the build again and add the slots at better levels that will probably be better for leveling. It was a rush job the first time.

Not to highjack your thread but can someone post a softcap build? Me and my wife are duoing Kin/Sonic. Also, do you think World of Confusion will work better for us since it will be stacked?
Edit: I forgot to say what I was looking to soft cap--Melee Defense or F/C/E/N if possible. Since we'll be running in and out of melee range. -
I never thought of Kinetic Combat because it doesn't contain bonuses I want. I am going for Acc/Rchg. Recovery and Regen are great also but I hate to miss and love to fire off as many powers as I can, as often as I can.
I don't do bad at all with in battle now. I just wanted to see if I could squeeze out a little more performance and maybe get some suggestions on things I might have overlooked. I got both and now I am happy. I just have a couple uniques to get and I am set. -
the_fox_Rox: Removing MoB would drop my S/L Res by 26.7% and my Psionic by 23.7%...That doesn't sound too good. And I already have max slots in RttC. I would add another -toHit but I can only replace the -rchg proc I have in it and I'm a little weary of that. It seems to hit mobs often. I love to see EBs just sit there because their powers haven't recharged. I will change the position of the BU chance proc to Focus Chi though. Thanks for the suggestion.
DSorrow: I have to agree. If anything, I might throw the Numina, Miracle, or RT unique in there to replace the one -tohit enhancement I already have. Thanks for the info.
ClawsandEffect: I'll take those DT, MoB, and HPT suggestions. But as far as taking the Fighting Pool, I don't think so. I already have 5 toggles and I don't see how I can squeeze it in. The only power I would snatch out of my build is Recall Friend. Plus I'm not really a fan of the Fighting pool. I don't know why but I just haven't taken a liking too it since I've been playing the game. Kick was funny but that's about it. Thanks for the suggestions.
All in all, I love all the suggestions. I know that I can frankenslot my other attacks for other +Def bonuses but I really don't like losing my Acc/Rchg. Just taking fox_Rox's suggestion on Dragon's Tail hurts a little but I kinda like the return. But I think once I make these little changes, I will be totally happy with what I have.

I currently have a MA/WP with IOs on it but I just wanted to make sure that I couldn't do the build better. I love my Acc/Rchg so that's what I went for when I picked the sets I bought. Plus I had to buy within my means. I PvE most of the time and PvP rarely. So when making suggestions, even if it seems overkill for PvE, just put it in anyway.
I am pretty comfortable with my power choices but I'm open to suggestions on that also. But I'm not willing to add a power just to get set bonuses on it. It has to be an useful power. Anyway, here is my build and my current IO sets/Procs.

I am soooo looking forward to RoA.
I have some form of stealth on almost all my chars so that's really no problem. I just never thought to throw it on Sprint.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. At first I looked at the loss to Acc/Rchg and immediately tried to shoot the build down. But I just compared the builds side by side and looked at the advantages of your build over mine. I also looked at the fact that you got plenty of Rchg without using LotG enhancements. Your build is easy on the pockets too. I don't know too much about Hami-Os though. I never used them even when they were bountiful (before the market - I feel old, lol). Hopefully it won't be a problem getting one.
All in all, I really like your build. I have a question though: Is Power Boost really worth it for this particular blaster? Looking on Mids, it seems like it doesn't do too much for us. I can see using it with PFF but that's really it. If it's not worth it, I might just get a 'toy' power instead.
Edit: Also, the +Stealth on Sprint, I never even thought of that. Nice. -
This is my next hero and I just wanted to see if it was solid. I plan on teaming quite a bit. I'm a freak for Acc/Rech so that's what I went for. The prices for the sets I went for aren't that expensive and they give me what I need. Power selection was based on my style-Ranged first, melee last resort. So let me know if I'll be ok. This is my first time dealing with Archery or Energy.
