    Im so up for this.

Is it possible to play for both Union and Defiant?

I have my blaster, emp, or rad for Union and my Ice/Kin or Ice/Thermal for defiant

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Do you have TS?

Also are we fighting against Union as well or just Vigilance?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I have TS
  2. Aid self is very important on a dom personally I would take out Carrion Creepers and Thorntrops, also I would look at Mu mastery if you want a better end recovery power but if you've gone dark for the pet then stick to it.
  3. Great thing about corruptors is the synergy a corruptor heavy team has everyone has buffs, everyone can do damage, all you have to do is get someone below half health and their as good as dead once the scourge factor kicks in. Rad corruptors are nice in that kind of team environment but as you said they very much weaker than rad defenders.

IF you want trap like powers make a ice/dev blasters they're much stronger then what you chose.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Traps masterminds are even stronger.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Way ahead of you

    [ QUOTE ]
Traps is pretty weak on a PvP corruptor there are things much more suitable (thermal, cold, rad, kin), if you want something traps go for a MM because this gives you more protection as is more suited to the location based debuffs of traps.

  5. This is my IOed build as it is on live, just missing the 2 recovery IOs:

As far as your build goes its pretty much what I had before I went pure PvP I just had ID instead of freeze ray. It's a good all round build and would work effectively on the RSF too.
  6. All round includes zones, and arena as well as duels

Ice/Kin is great in team situations because you get the buffs of kinetics for your team mates and stacked siphon speed creates an amazing attack chain, combined with siphon power and fulcrum shift (in the right situations) creates nearly blaster level damage then with unresistable scourge at the end, with vengeance you become a machine with an extra 30% damage, 30% tohit, 30% defence & repel resist.

Ice/Kin isnt for everyone but I have been very successful with mine
  7. Im so up for this.

Is it possible to play for both Union and Defiant?

I have my blaster, emp, or rad for Union and my Ice/Kin or Ice/Thermal for defiant

Actually the hold prot is a good one in PvE and sucky in PvP. In PvP even a blaster or def with a hold laughs at acro, let alone a troller or domi.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Acrob hold resist is quite useless for pve, as most of the stuff that hold effectively does thru it (carnies, malta, CoT...). For PvP it's only useless vs trollers or domis, as all the other AT's need to stack 2 to hold thru, as said above

    [/ QUOTE ]

Acro has made freeze ray pretty much redundant in PvP

So indeed maybe FS should be tuned down too a bit when it comes down to it

    [/ QUOTE ]

    So you agree
  10. [ QUOTE ]
Sonic secondary is very good from a soloing point of view. Kin/Sonic, Rad/Sonic or Dark/Sonic (probably not in that order) would all work well.

  11. [ QUOTE ]
    There arent that many, tbh.

    Elistan, Elerith, Psydock, Shaman X
  12. I have ice/rad, ice/sonic, and ice/kin and I found Ice/Kin to be the best for all round but for PvP for solo PvP ice/rad is probably the best.

Ice/Sonic is only good for high end team pvp

ROFL i completely missed that, good find

Different raz. This is Razgul, who is actually pretty good at PvP. You're thinking of Raziel DX who sucks.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I did mean razgul too can't comment about raziel as I have never pvp'd with/vs him so far

Also This screenshot is great, I remember how [censored] off Nightbringer got on Columna because he couldn't kill me.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I remember that in the first match I couldn't kill you, labeled your empath as the most difficult toon to kill in your team and proceeded to beat the scrapper down instead. Shadow Fury is my SG mate, pity that he was playing a DA scrapper, of all things.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, well, I'm very hard to kill on my Empath.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    As is every decent empath
  15. Ice/Kin is an amazing PvP build I recommend taking a patron with a proper shield though as defence is pretty useless but if you do take the webnade epic you wont need medicine as they will be locked down enough to heal yourself quite easily.

My build is something like this (pre IOs):

I found my Ice/Kin to be an amazing team toon the ability to buff and still do comparable damage to a blaster very nice

If you want I can post my IOed build. IOs allow you to solve the one problem with the build which is end use as with 2 or 3 siphon speeds you can run out of end very quickly.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
could any one pls tell me whats best between fire vs Ice vs Sonic TOTALY for pvp and secondery will be traps

    [/ QUOTE ]

Traps is pretty weak on a PvP corruptor there are things much more suitable (thermal, cold, rad, kin), if you want something traps go for a MM because this gives you more protection as is more suited to the location based debuffs of traps.

Ice, Fire and Sonic are the best 3 by a long way and not much to chose between them.

Ice & Fire have quick activation times meaning you dont need to stand still for very long and you can chain your moves together causing lots of incoming damage in a short space of time.

Fire is the most damage over a single attack chain because of the damage over time but is endurance heavy as to get an attack chain you need to use fire ball and also has a long recharge. Unfortunately no secondary effects

Sonic has the strong single target attack chain, with an amazing ranged stun, and the stackable -res combined with scourge means as the fight goes on you to more and more damage, but long activation times lower the burst damage and means you're standing still making you easier to melee.

Ice is my personal favourite similar to fire only costs less endurance per attack chain, slows, a hold, and slightly further range.

If you still want traps Ice/ has nice synergy because of the slows stack with the webnades -jump giving you a chance to set the traps, and the -recharge stacks with the poison trap. Also sonic is nice because the -resistance stacks with the acid mortar and the stun is always nice.

teams out of the hat, one night only pvp competition in the style of Squished?

    [/ QUOTE ]

hows this for a idea we get 5 players of each AT.

    teams 1 to 5

Pick a name out of the hat... so first one out is playing in team 1 , 2nd in team 2.. like that throughout the ATs?

that way we can be sure theres no uber teams>?

    [/ QUOTE ]

i agree, like xanthus says doing it on 1 night never fails,

the trouble is u'd have 95% blasters and 0.001% tanks

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sounds good but obviously people would need to be sensible, possibly the signup involves put up to 3 toons they want to use in order and full up slots that way.
  22. MA is the best dueling scrapper primary imo because it has great control which is excellent against squishies (sun with cobra strike or eagles claw then crane kick to knock them back), and no drawing time. All scrapper primaries are mainly smashing or lethal (except some Dark Melee moves) so MA isnt at much disadvantage in that regard.

Your slotting is as good as its going to get without HOs or IOs. Best advice is to slot build up for tohit and maybe take tactics if you're still struggling (against tier 9 powers like elude you'll struggle to hit through consistently even with BU). Most things in PvP need aim or build up to hit through defence anyway MA is no different.
