Tried that... it said that it was in the wrong format (the site says you have to to upload it as a JPG, TGA or GIF). Maybe it just doesn't like Firefox

If you have the full paid version, there is an option to turn each page into a JPG file... however, I have the Marvel version of the software and even that says it needs the PDF capability (which won't even install right (even with downloading and activating the newest version of the Marvel CBC software).
Guess I will have to do each page manually as a screenie, JPG it and THEN see if I can get those uploaded to the HyperComics site.

When you do open the queue again, I would definitely love to see a couple of my characters done as Timms, and I will have to tell my SG mates about this since several of them are big JLU fans like me.

Very nice... can't wait to see what happens when Izzy goes to Pocket D; that should be interesting.

Okay... I am going to try this again.

Sorry about removing my previous post; I was having a very bad day outside the boards and when I saw that I was supposedly being overlooked (in my eyes at that time) after posting my request I overreacted and pulled the post. I apologize for that. It's hard being the "new kid on the block" on these boards sometimes and that just hit me the wrong way that day.

Let the carpet bombing begin:

I'll have to see what I can crank out here... is there a deadline that these need to be in?
And Khell... they may let 1,510 words slide if it's a REALLY good story.

We had a tie for first... decided to flip a coin and whoever won got the heal and the other got a glancing shot. Essex won the coin toss. Completely fair.

Hurt Leo... well, that was kinda random. Healed Mithril Zeta because of the awesomely near perfect recalling of events in 20-30 pages of the Paragon University thread.

Let's not forget the annoying know-it-all, the one with the quick wit but not the social interaction skills.

Your main Hero... Krimsin Hawk
1) Discovers that a teenager with no combat training and a few low-level powers is attempting to follow in their footsteps with a similar outfit and name.
1d: Talk to the kid and try to convince them to get some training and be their own person. Thank them for the flattery, but encourage them to be their own person. Suggest after they get some training that they could be offered a spot in the SG if they really want to be a hero.
2) A villain confronts you in the middle of a large crowd of civilians.
2c: You surrender rather than allow him to endanger innocents.
2a offers too much of a chance of a civilian getting hurt by either the villain or collateral damage from the fight, and 2b could give the villain a wealth of hostages to use against her. She may do 2a if she can knock down the villain and give the civilians time to flee, but otherwise she would sacrifice herself to help others... she does that already everyday when she puts on the costume.
3) You are on patrol when you hear what sounds like a domestic disturbance from a nearby residence. Screams, crying children, physical combat.
3d: Contact the PPD to check out the disturbance, but stick around to make sure that everything is okay. If she actually sees any abuse through a window, then she would bust in and stop it if only to stand between the parties involved.
Your main villain... Ember Hawk (Krim's Praetorian)
1) Has just gotten her hands on a live nuclear weapon. The problems are the fact that the weapon is literally in her hands, and a veritable horde of good guys are seconds from arriving and beating her down. Most importantly, no quick easy means of escape are available.
c) Give it up. She can't have fun and enjoy her pleasurable desires if she's dead, so option (a) is out. She's not much of a bluffer, not in large groups that is, so that negates option (b). If she can give it up and get out of there quickly afterwards, that's what she'd do.
2) You arrive at your latest caper ready to obtain something useful to your purposes. But a hero and villain are already clashing over the goods!
d) She'd try to decide which option (a, b or c) would be the most fun at the moment... or she'd use her sensuality to trick one or the other to "save/help" her, then have her Stalker lover nail an AS on the distracted hero/villain and Ember would take her new toy.
3) The Rikti offer you governorship of earth if you help them complete their master plan. Their plan seems likely to work with your help.
d: She'd agree, but once she got bored with the governorship thing, she'd betray the Rikti to the resistance and find a way to go to another dimension and have more fun during the ensuing bloodshed with her Stalker lover. Although getting bored would take a while with all of the male and female servants she'd want catering to her every whim. -
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but a good way to help develop a character's personality is find online personality tests and answer them as how you think the CHARACTER, not the player, would respond. It can go a long way in showing how the character would react in certain situations.
Also look for those lists of favorite things that are very prevalent on blogging sites like MySpace and LiveJournal, once again answering as the character, not as the player.
Just a couple suggestions that may have already been mentioned.

Hi there! Been following this thread, and I think that I have a character that would benefit from your pen (or in this case keyboard). It is my character in the Paragon University thread.
Hero Name: Lady Redbird
Origin: Mutation
Powerset: Sonic/Sonic Defender
History: Dinah Franks grew up in Templeton, Iowa after she was given up for adoption at the age of four and taken in by the Franks family. She was your typical awkward teenager, but there was one thing she was very good at: she could sing beautifully. During a choir concert her senior year of high school during a solo, her mutant sonic abilities came to the forefront, the power amplified by the speakers and injured several of the concertgoers. Cleared of any wrongdoing (it was ruled an accident), she spent the rest of the school year a pariah of the school community. After she graduated, she went to Iowa State University, when during a biology class, one of the star baseball players played a practical joke by dropping a dead frog into her experiment beaker. She freaked out and screamed, her sonic powers going off again, and shattered the containers holding several volatile chemicals, which mixed and caught fire. The university ruled that she was too much of a danger to the university and forcibly transferred to Paragon University and register as a heroine. She chose the name Lady Redbird as a homage to The Scarlet Songbird (her heroic idol).
A bit more backstory: Caryn Hawke, the woman who was The Scarlet Songbird (who retired from heroing shortly after the Rikti Invasion and is now a plainclothes agent for the FBSA), is actually Dinah's real mother, who gave Dinah up for adoption fifteen years earlier when a organized crime head named Stephan DiMarco found out that The Scarlet Songbird had a child. Caryn came home from patrol early one night and checked on Dinah to find a bomb under the child's bed. The device went off shortly after they got out of the house. Caryn put the child up for adoption to protect the child from any other reprisals. Dinah does NOT know that her real mother was The Scarlet Songbird or the reason Caryn gave her up for adoption.

Love to see what you do with the story, and thanks in advance.

Wow... that was great!
Better than most of the current network sitcoms out there, for sure

Yeah, I really like the new Justice costume set, but the two color option doesn't work, it goes strictly with the primary color. When I try editing it at Icon however, it shows both colors. Shrug.

I have the same problem, but it wouldn't even change for me in Icon.
