hello all. Don't expect to spend a bunch of time to 2xp WE (weekend). Don't expect to add to my 50 count either.

Did get to play with the puppy last night. errr, got on a team with the puppy. We pwnd taking down Positron and Valk. Fun and profanity were had by all. (And was it the MM or the Dom who did the healing. I forgot to commend them on their fine job.) And Iced got a level.

Did I mention that I found out she's the last member standing in EBIL? Ahwell. Anyone who wants to join a very inactive SG red-side, there is plenty of room for all (since there are only 4 characters left there.)

So, back to work for me. might find time to check back in a few hours.

I'm beginning to see the basic problem with cute cat pictures vs. cute dog pictures. Dogs have no shame, so the contest is stacked against kitties.

Have you thought of a time for this? My Saturday afternoons have oddly been available recently so a 6 or 6:30 EST start or so should work for me.

And I can bring an emp. She would like another Master badge. (just don't go running off now, k? )

In the shields option, can I have a fire shield please?

I would also so much like to have a fire wings option. We have feathers and bat, butterfly and tech, but fire wings would be teh cool.

Finally, I want to ride around on top of the cars and trucks. Can I please ride on top of them? I promise to wear non-marking shoes so I don't damage the paint.

I think having invisibility on a tank is funny. He should have taken Superspeed too, then no one would see him. After all, isn't that the point of a tank? To not take damage?

Hmmm, let's see. Batman, Green Arrow and Superman go on a mission. The bad guys show up and the first thing Superman does it .... hide! That's right.

I have to start looking at powers more often.

One note about starting your own Supergroup, you need a character at level 10. Not very difficult.

But you would most likely be better off finding an established SG because they will already have all the SG bling such as teleporters to the different zones, etc. It isn't as important on villain side to have an SG but on hero side it can be real tedious running from zone to zone.

And again, welcome to the game. Liberty is a very friendly server with players who are willing to teach new players, unlike some of the larger servers.

Wouldn't it be great if they made a game where you could act like a superhero with leaping power and flight and immune to bullets?

Welcome to the game and the boards. I haven't played villains on Liberty for a while but I know the overall villain population is much smaller than the hero side.

The above suggestions are great but also don't forget to announce you are looking for a team in the zone. Just type "/y level XX [class type] lft".

But the best way to team is to form one yourself and be polite, ask first before inviting.

When I was a teen I went to the last film convention that Groucho attended before he passed away a few months later. He wasn't well enough to talk but his daughter (or grand daughter) spoke on his behalf and gave a very funny speech. Then after the dinner they showed Animal Crackers. It was surreal listening to the audience say the punchlines. (and I think it was this movie where a reporter asked one of the actors what it was like working with the Marx Brothers. They said it was almost impossible since once the cameras started to roll they all almost immediately went off the script and ad-libed everything.)

Fabulous! and i love the "where's stalkers" picture. I'm going to work on some levels for Mann so maybe I'll be ready when someone runs this again.

I have found the last few updates have hampered the playability on my old machine. It is to the point where I'll crash on loadup if there is too much traffic (such as WW) in the area where I'm logging on. But my problem is processor power, not video. Sounds like you just need a more powerful card. Fryes has a sale last week on an nVidia 8400 card for only $20 so a video card should be too expensive.
