Maniacal Marvelous Marx Brothers Monday at the Rookery
In October, 1987, this classic gem of an adventure game was released on the Commodore 64. As an appreciation to this classic LucasArts adventure, the chefbots have for today been dressed up like various members of the playable class. Not to mention that there's a secret hidden within the walls for people to find.
Such as perhaps a tentacle. It may have a day sometime soon!
*turns on the coffee pot*
See you all in the morning! It's time for me to sleep.
ATs to 50 - TA/A Def, Nrg/Nrg Blaster, EM/EA Brute, WS,ELM/ELA Stalker
*stumbles through this odd mansion, filled with strange characters and hosted by a guy with big eyebrows and a cigar fetish*
Well, this is unusual.
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
Sounds about right to dress up the chefbots for Halloween. And honestly who WOULDN'T want breakfast served by a suckered appendage?
Cien, As long as those pies were made by the proletariat I think Karl Marx would get behind em. :P
Ya know Rad I never played that one. With all the remakes they are doing of the Monkey Island Games, I wonder if that one will come about. Oh and Full Throttle.
I think I will dress the chefbots up as Big Daddy's tomorrow. Those things are a pain in the feathered **** to take down. But I love the noise they make.
/e noms a pamcakes that tastes curiously like sushi.
Oh and Morning Puppeh Harpo, Rad Chico, and Groucho Neko! Oh out of Marxses....I guess I'll be Zeppo.

Happy Monday to you fine folks.
I R DPS.

Windwolf, now with increased levels of wind and wolf!
Virtue, baby, 'cause I R P.
*powerslides in dressed as a roadie, the most powerful force in the Metal Universe, delivering a searing guitar solo*
Oddly, I can't say much about the subjects today. I played Maniac Mansion for about five minutes I think. Those sorts of games never much appealed to me. And I've never been that 'into' the Marx Brothers. I've seen them on TV a few times but they never really clicked. I liked Abbott and Costello and especially the Three Stooges better.
Woo! Windwolf is our last DPS! LF Healor and G2G!
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
Morning Windwolf. DPS R GUD!

Anyone seen a donut with my name on it? Or more specifically the hole in the donut, really I would want the whole donut. But I will start with just the hole for now. A hole in one you might say, though it would just be one in the hole for the whole thing now.
*Waggles his painted on eyebrows and mustache.*

Thank you little Kitteh. A donut a day keeps the doctor away. Unless the doctor wants a donut. A bakery surgeon perhaps. Paging Dr Sprinkles!

I suspect it's a matter of which you were exposed to first/most. The Three Stooges/Marx brothers split is very much like the Abbot and Costello/Laurel and Hardy split in that sense...one came a bit before both have defintie parallels, and people usually prefer whichever one they watched the most of when they were little
