Quote:If not, we'll organize a picnic.Probably because I'd asked Brian and Zwill on Sat night when the alcohol was flowing a bit more freely and they seemed quite flush on the success of the summit. Once they sobered up the following morning, reality might have sunk in.
Being the eternal optimist, I put it down more to "who knows what the hell NCsoft is going to do next/economy ups-downs/Marketing will kill us if we commit/we're releasing something uberbig next year and might not have the time" stuff as to the caution, but I really do think they'll hold one.

I believe TonyV is somehow responsible for the lack of Pepsi products during the pre-dinner reception. *shake fist*

Short, general synopsis (with pictures) that I posted in the News/Announcements board.

I think I eated mine.
Wait, no, I actually turned it in to Avatea.
I think I have the stack of panel related ones, but scanning those wouldn't make sense to the folks who weren't at the panels, methinks. -

Quote:Heh, I'm not a photographer, I take pictures.*nods*
The Devs are always awesome, but the Players... awesomesauce on the cake! BTW, Pepsi is quite the photographer... you even made me look human (sorta), and next time I go to the barber he isnt getting a tip (it looked good in the barber shop, really). Great times, and thanks to all our fellow Players who made it completely rock. -

My apologies for blinding the Ustream viewers when I took a picture of the Ustream camera. o_o

I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer in September 2004.
I quit this game shortly after that.
I came back a week later, after many friends and family in real life made me realize that I needed to continue doing things normally, including my hobbies and pastimes, like City of Heroes, if I was to work my way though the pain and sense of loss.
Seven years later I count Guardian and it's community as part of my online family.
We help each other in many ways, from coping with loss, to doing that one last mission to hit 50. And a lot of us wouldn't want it any other way.

Guardian was his home as much as it was for any of us here. And though he'd been away from the game for a while, he was looking forward to trying out the new Freedom stuff.
I'll miss him. :'( -
