Wohoo, just spent 1 billion, need to farm up another 500 mill though for the rest and thats just for the lvl 50 build.

gonna make a lvl 30 build just as expencive for SC also.

Can't wait to finish and put him into action.

So, i'm re slotting my stalker, he's decent but i'm about to put a good 2 bil into a 50 and 30 pvp build (probably gonna put 3 nucleolus and 3 strong damage procs in every attack). I've been using soul mastery for shadowmeld, dark blast, and soul whatever it was called. With my changes I can only afford 2 patron pool powers, and i'm not sure if i really want shadowmeld anymore. afterall, for me regen is based on reactive "oh crap" buttons, has no defense to start with and with 2 heals, phase shift and MoG I've gotten good with my ability to get in and out of a fight at whim.

I've also found that the hold from shadow storm or w/e its called lasts about 1-1.5 seconds and the animation alone is longer then that. I'm debating taking the snipe and shadowmeld, or water spout and hibernate. How does water spout play out in pvp? if YOU were to chose a patron pool, and only 2 powers from it, what would they be?

Would anyone be opposed to building me a setted out (say 400 mil tops) Ninja/Pain pvp build? Im not great with sets YET, and brand new to MM's.

you dont need snap shot, aimed shot, and if this is for pvp you dont need share pain, or the rez either.

Also take hurdle not swift if your going SS+CJ.

Thats...it? If you look at any of the previous 14 issues, this is crap. Some new faces, more options for Ma which is primarily used for aoe farmign anyway, so who cares. And nothing for the colossal LACK of pvp in this game now. Oh, and another TF......

just made my 1st mm, and would really like alink to a pve/pvp build for a nin/pain. I hear they are both really reliable. any help would rock. a sfar as budget goes, im going cheap till i know i love the toon. we shall see.

Another question comes to me now, I am wondering if theres a quick guide to procs anywhere. a way to look at all proc IO's available. and their details , like chances to go off, and how often its checked, how much dmg or w/e they do. This would be great for someone like me to catch up on.

So, im new back to pvp, after along stint of not playing coh and im about to make my alt spec on my stalker specifically for Sirens Call. ALOT of questions came up, some answered, and some not. I wanted to verify the answers i've gotten, and hopefully get the unanswered questions... answered.

So, in no particular order, heres some of the facts I was given.

1) your IO's(sets) should be lvl 33 for sirens call, because it puts you to an effective lvl 30, and no powers above that lvl will work, you will get diminishing returns on the IO's and bonuses from any IO above lvl 33.

2) even though powers above lvl 30 are inactive, if you slot them all with lvl 33 io's the set bonuses will still apply. ( this REALLY throws a monkey wrench into build planning when your new, or new back. I can see why alot of new people dont pvp much. Or build good toons.


3) slots you add to powers you've chosen between 1-30, even if added AFTER 30, still work just fine. but remember, keep the IO's lvl 33, these might be hard to find. alot of people settle with 30's.

4) purple IO's and proc* IO's work at maximum lvl regardless, so best to use 50's for those.

ah, thats too bad, that and some type of pvp fix would make this game almost perfect in my eyes.

I find ae lacking in story, mostly because I don't wanna read my story spoon fed to me in tiny text pop up windows that almost no one looks at anyway. Most likely this is why short ae missions, or farms are the most popular (besides the obvious reason that people are there to farm).

i think if you could add cut scenes with bubble chat to your ae missions the story telling power would increase tenfold.

I don't know how hard it is to add, but if anyone can do it, CoX can.

I made my stalker to get back into melee pvp, so I understand why people don't think of them for pve. but they can and do pve very well. CoX has always, in my mind been on one of those games where in pve player skill > build and fotm setups.

having only been back for a month, after 3 years I didin't really get to see stalkers heyday. It is sad to see the difference between this pvp archtypes activity, and say, the brutes. I also noticed that people THINK stalkers are useless in pve. I have a elec/regen now, and unlike my elec/sd brute, i could spend hours lft and no results. When realistically, the dps is almost the same. Ofc he cannot tank, but w/e.

Care to explain why I dont need FH? I was told that "once you become good" you don't need SS and SJ. Jacobs ladder is garbage dmg, i'd sooner not take it.

After quadrouple checking,. I had not applied the upgrade to my account yet, but even after doing so I was unable to purchase the cyborg pack.

So, I just puchased the magic booster, then went to do so for the cyborg too, and it said

"We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again later or tomorrow. If you continue to have problems, you may wish to visit one of our retail partners. "

why would I not be able to purchase the second one? I definately have a VERY empty credit card, so thats not it. Is there some kinda process where you cannot buy both packs in one day? WTF.
