Yep, tested it, and it seems Rogues are Villains and Vigilantes are heros for the purposes of the event.

Quote:Meh, it's only about the same as the more popular Purple IOs, and I have bought a whole bunch of those. That is a whole lot of cash. That means a top tier Alpha, with its one Favour and two third-tier Alphas (one Notice each) in the recipie, will costs 400 million influence.
And I mostly acumulated the inf solo. It soon builds up (although playing on X8 helps). -

Have been finding it a bit difficult to get my tank into a WST team. Seems to be too many tanks around at the moment.

Quote:My technomage Demon Summoner uses hard light holograms. Not at all.
Mutant with the power to summon and control Demons. What's to limit them from gaining that ability?
Science can easily fall the same line as mutants.
Tech Origin uses tech to summon forth and control the demons.
And while the powerset is called Demon Summoning, one could easily say they're manifestations of one's imagination/nightmares and made tangible!
Lot's of ways to work around things if one tries. -
The thing is, it actually just takes one stubborn player to mess this up. If you have someone on the team who won't max out their def, avoid aggro, or avoid melee with her, the whole team is stuffed.

The enhancements permitted for the SoA Call Reinforcements power are wrong. It alows Def Debuff, which the pets do not have, and doesn't alow Endmod, Immobilisation, Slow or Hold, which they do.
Normally, this would be a minor issue, since I wouldn't normally slot those anyway. But with Incarnates it means they don't benefit fully from the Alpha Slot like they should.
I would like my SoA's pets to benefit from the +33% immobilisation in my Musclature please. -
Quote:I got a rock.I did a LRSF, chose the Essence of the Incarnate, and got that Essence of the Incarnate, the Notice of the Well, 25 merits reward, and I got 48k + 34k inf (plus 2*344 prestige) for the completion (rep was 0), which might just be the inf for the end of the mission + the end of the SF... or the inf bonus, I don't really know.
Edit : Compared some logs, the 34k inf actually is the inf bonus for that SF being the WST. -

Quote:They have already done that. Much to the dismay of my Def tanker, the level 50 DE now have quartz dropping Guardians (and the rest, but I don't care about them), making them one of the few groups I can't solo on X8.Personally, I feel the more pressing matter is actually including all types Devouring Earth monsters at all level ranges they spawn in. The 45-50 range only has Granites, so no tree men, no mushroom men and no crystals. That's just bad design, and it stems from six-year-old content that simply didn't feature them in any capacity at that level range.

Quote:Your math is off. A level 50 TF yealds 4-6 shards (more like 4-9 IMO, but lets not quible), plus a common or uncommon component, which itself can be broken down for more shards. What I meant was: Run a TF of the week. The run itself yields no Shards if its lower level, but you get the Notice. THEN break apart the Notice for shards. Breaking a Notice of the Well yields 4-6 shards. That how much you get on average TF runs.
It would be a way for those that do not want the notice to get some shards.
So you are better of doing a regular level 50 TF than a sub-50 weekly strike target. -
The age of the universe is "unknown". But there is good reason to believe it is 13.6 billion years.

Quote:"Trial" here is being used with a completly different meaning to "Respec Trial". Intelligence gathered suggests we are looking at something similar to WAR public quests.See, that makes very little sense to me. Why allow the things to be broken down, and yet not crafted the same way?
Don't get me wrong, I'm no die hard. I'll tag along for the TFs the same as most folks and probably have a good time alongside.
I just still thing it's damned silly design, and it would also give a soloable option. -
Quote:How about "Incarnate Grind"?
Hmm... I know what you're going for... and the Hercules analogy is a good one.... but "Labor" still seems like such work. -

Well, if we are looking for trivial changes:
"Defeat Lady Winter" now displays waypoint markers. -
Quote:I very much doubt it will be "per power". I would think it would work like the Alpha slot. You can slot it with one Interface Boost, and it affects all eligable powers. What you will be able to do is swap one Interface Boost for a different one, so you could switch from +DoT to +slow, for example.
And if this was something you could do on a per power basis, that'd be awesome. -

Here is my thoughts
Common boost: cost 12s
Uncommon boost: Additional cost 20s, total cost 32s
Rare component: uncommon component + 12 shards, total cost 24s. Also available as Trial reward in issue 20.
Rare boost: Requires one uncommon boost, one rare component, one uncommon component and one common component. Additional cost: 40s, total cost 72s
Very rare boost: any two rare boosts. Additional cost 72s, total cost 144s -
You buy commons? They is a rip off.
You can pick up set IOs for 100 inf or less. -
The thing about the ITF is it has a lot of EBs.
-
Don't assume that all rare recipes are expensive, or all uncommon recipes are cheep.
-
One thing I think might be worth trying with a big group is farming DE Monsters. A large group can take them down quite quickly, and they may drop shards at AV rates.

It certainly helps when soloing for shards to be able to fight as many mobs at a time as possible, which does give an advantage to certain classes and builds.
