It's not just your connection, I have a home connection that runs the game and downloads perfectly well, but has taken the better parts of two days and still isn't even 1/3 of the way finished...it's probably going to take another day waiting for it as well *grumble*

I was curious why you can't have a permanent "Zero G Pack" or "Raptor Pack" costume piece for "Superjump" and "Flying". We already got wings and rocket boots so its not much different just a little add-on for the people that try and make their toons look like they don't have any powers. Like for example an Assault Rifle/Devices Blaster with Munitions Mastery. We got new recipes for temporary powers its time for new costume piece recipes.

Well, mainly because if the wings and rocket boots gave you powers without having actually taking the powers would mean that actually having Super Jump or Fly would be a waste of a slot when you could just wear wings or boots. It's already been established that costume pieces will never give you powers in this game. If you want that instead of the current (permanent) system, go play Champions Online. If not, and this was merely an innocent question, there you go, enjoy the game. To go back to the menu, press the pound key.

I like the idea. Perhaps there could be an "expand" arrow similar to the Team window (if you don't know what I'm talking about it's the right-pointing arrow that, when clicked, expands the window to show all buffs/debuffs each member is under.)

That way, you could check at least the name, size, and a short description of the group.

Alright, if you truly understood the spirit of the OP, ignore this.

What it meant was that the costumes themselves would have NO EFFECT, just like now, but whenever you were using the costume SLOT, regardless of what costume is actually IN said slot, you would get a small bonus (or larger bonus with a trade-off). Understand now? No gear, no "right costume", nada. Just a new ,and really minor in the long run, way to customize your character and set him/her apart from all of the other <Level X Pri/Sec Archetypes> out there.

Bunson Tesla lived in Woodvale,a beautiful neighborhood,and was trouble from the beginning.While his brother,Joules(Jules) Tesla,was busy with his studies,he was cutting class to vandalize someones house.when the Devouring earth attacked Woodvale,their parents took them and fled to Kings Row.but misfortune dogged their steps.shortly after arriving,the Teslas were attacked by a shapeshifting menace known only as "Nocturne" who would soon fuse with Ridolfo Uzzano to become "Requiem",leader of the 5th column.This unexplained attack ended in the dissapearance of both parents.both Bunson and Joules were accepted at an orphanage,but Bunson ran away to find Nocturne and avenge their parents.worried as always about his brother,Joules followed him to a warehouse where there was supposedly a deal between 5th column and the Tsoo.Bunson,reckless as always,knocked over a crate of magic artifacts which,upon breaking,cloaked both brothers in a mystic aura.Endowed by these artifacts with superpowers,they were immobilized long enough to be captured.Joules escaped,but Bunson was tainted by the Tsoo's black magic,twisting his mind into something barely human. shortly after,in an epic battle between him and his brother(by now known as Elecvolt),he was put in the ziggurat.

a small being running through a darkened corridor,his boots clanking against the stainless steel floor is screaming "sir! sir! the Arachnos Phalanx are here! finally,he reaches the person he was trying to find. the mysterious figure seems a little too calm"Very good,let's show them our best. Shall we?"
meanwhile,outside...

a group of familiar faces appears and a woman with shocking white hair and lips and the rims of blank eyes blackened as if burnt to a crisp steps foward to the seemingly indestructible wall. "Easy",she mumbled as she stepped foward and started twirling her arms in an arcane manner. "won pu nepo!". she spoke these words as if singing a song she had memorized as a girl,and lo and behold the gates swung open. Suddenly,a man with 4 spider-like arms sprouting out of his back,and his fists glowing as red as the brightest neutron star enters the scene. "very good,and now we can take the fight to the Web of Restraint leader:statesman!"
