I know, this post was not necessary, but I think I am becoming deranged. I just really would love to see even a tidbit or a smidge or even a tiny blurb that feeds us with news. Silly I know, but it's July! And that other game is getting all the press..

Look, have you TRIED the market system? It is not that hard, and generally as risky as chewing gum while walking. Sure, if you do not pay attention, you might trip and choke, but for the most part it is safe and easy!

Great thread. Anyway, never really understood the Hollows Hate. I guess I am alone in actually ENJOYING the missions and environment there? I always try to run all my characters through it, AFTER getting the jet and jump pack though
(looks around, sees no one, goes back in his lurker hole).

Thanks for the feedback, folks. This is only the second character I have taken the fitness pool on, so I'm not used to having to sacrifice powers I want. I got to fifty on an MM, a MA/SR scrapper, and a WS without it, and my blaster took it in the late forties (since no other powers in her devices secondary interested me).

Okay, so I have been playing my Bane and loving it, and generally had few problems, but as part of a team last night, which was moving pretty quickly, I kept running out of endurance. Granted, I have no endurance reducers in my offensive slots (though my toggles like stealth and TT have them), but it had not caused me any difficulties until last night.
I decided to respec today, and ended up dropping my travel powers to fit in the fitness pool, because it just seems like missing out on the main powers of a Bane would be a waste, and I am looking forward to patron powers.
I have just about every temp travel power there is on red side, including the goldbricker jet and the time card jet pack, so I don't expect to run out, but in all the years I have played, I have never NOT taken travel powers.
Has anyone else gone without the travel pools at all? Does it have an adverse impact? (Note: i'm a superjump addict). Should I respec my respec and simply smarten up by slotting end reducers in my combat powers?

As others have suggested, use the market to transfer influence or infamy. Honestly, it is not that risky if you do it right. I almost always hold onto the pre-level 10 training enhancements that drop for new characters. To transfer cash between characters, I will go to the market and have my lowbie character find a low level TO that no one is bidding on AND offering for sale (meaning zero bidders, zero sellers), and put it up (honestly, usually a fear TO).
I then immediately log off that character and switch to my moneybags, who puts up what I want to transfer (taking into account the transaction fee), making sure that there is only one TO of that type offered (so I know it is mine). The exchange is immediate and easy and takes usually less than 5 minutes.

What exactly did the water of the Well do to Recluse? It's clear that Statesman got the powers of a god, but what powers did Recluse get? Most of his powers are pet summons or come from his arms... Did the arms start to grow from the powers of the Well? I can imagine a funny scene where the two of them drink and Recluse starts growing arm stubs.

I can answer this one, a bit anyway. Recluse absorbed the essence of Tartarus from the Well..How that equals what he has as a mastermind powerset, idk.

Like others have said, you are playing just fine. And you are using the AE system as intended: to have fun and create stories for your enjoyment and the enjoyment of others.
As an aside, if you DO want to maintain a levelling pace that will still allow you try out the dev content, you can turn off XP and still explore AE arcs and get tickets. That's what I do.

So, just wanted to share how great this server is..I created a new villain on Virtue, where I have all my heroes, and ran around Mercy for a while. In Broadcast, a gentleman stalker by the name of Who was offering a fully operational battlestat...errr...base for free, no strings attached. And, incredibly, I now have a fully tped out, o-crystalled, fully storage ready base with my little level 5 plant dominator.

I was running the Praetorian arc last night, and something occured to me that I have not really seen elsewhere. In Dominatrix's description, it states that she killed her mother, the beloved heroine Miss Liberty. The description also uses the term 'infamous' to describe Miss Liberty. This is a generally negative term. So..does this mean that Miss Liberty, the mother of Dominatrix, had actually rebelled against her father Tyrant and actually been a real hero?
Does this question make sense? Also, eww about serving Tyrant loyally 'in all capacties.'

Was on a MA farm recently [shhhh! Don't tell!] where someone had Vanessa in the mission as a pet. Repeatedly.

The masks worn by upper-level female Carnies are seriously beautiful close to.

Not sure if anyone has responded to this yet, but if I recall correctly, the Midnight Squad isn't new; a couple of contacts discuss it/were members of it, I think. The missions escape me now, however.

As a history teacher, I would just point out that if the Warriors are, err, 'going Greek,' they most certainly would not really want someone named Caesar as their leader. Not real fans of the Romans, those Greeks. So he is probably a fraud...
