  1. If it included an account-wide unrestricted alignment PPP unlock I'd buy it.

But then I wouldn't be buying it for the customization.
  2. Considering the approach from the low side again, the DA EBs' (except for Blue Steel) immunity to hard or soft controls and hard hitting range attacks makes for quite the challenge for (non-purpled) mezzers, kiters, or sets with location powers that mobs don't want to stand in.

Unless you're counting leveling to 50, you don't have to do one single mission to fully IO out, just walk into Wentwoth's and walk out in full purple.

22 hours for +3 (Coulomb2) vs 18 hours in iTrials for all T4 (MCM), which requires another full set of T3 and also Very Rare components, that's not slow, that's insulting.
  5. Speaking of DA being the new iTrial hub, can you be in a pre-form while flashbacking the arcs (since they function(ed) like TFs) or is the "incarnate" activity limited to street sweeping and Ephram?

You'll be doing the game a service, and also speed up your incarnate process by a factor of 10.
Yes, those ebil ebil unsocial soloists, they must be punished. However did CoH survive before the clusterhugs of iTrials?

They were told, rather decisively, during the beta that the rewards were disastrously low. What was the point of all the people grinding through DA for no other point than generating data points if the devs disregard the data points?

And yes, it is better for appearances to start low and increase, but start too low and you poison the well.

Apparently a very long term goal in the iTrials means 18 hours.

And then there's all those friendly EBs that make DA soooooo nice for some powersets that are fresh incarnates and not setted out. I know, I know, there are powersets that aren't allowed reward tables in the iTrials but ...wait, what? really? anyone? Devs, you got some 'splaining to do.

    Coulomb2's most recent summary:
    75 Commons (79.8%)
    12 Uncommons (12.8%)
    5 Rares (5.3%)
    2 Very Rare (2.1%)

Don't put him off DA right off the bat, let him "enjoy" the reward tables a few times.
  14. Did I22 change Numina to BABs in the Long Bow Helicopter part of the tutorial?

The optimist would say good news for BABs as they probably won't off him in SSA#2 (or WWD#7), the realist would say it's a set up to the sucker punch death of BABs in WWD#7 or SSA#2.

Wade most likely already re-killed Numina in #2, she just doesn't know it yet.

The LFG tool created the problem it was supposed to solve.

Concept of LFG, queue up, system assembles team, go.
How players (ab)use LFG, assemble team, queue up, go.
  17. They decided they'd give a freespec if they got above a common on a DA reward table.
  18. When there's a choice in the mission each mission holder has to complete their "own" mission. Cooling's save the rogue PPD from the fire mission does this since you can choose not to save the last guy. Team of 4? Got to run/complete it 4 times.
  19. Nemesis is just making sure that Wade's (read Nemesis') plan continues on so that Silos gets his Rularuu for the Battalion invasion.
  20. The new DA looks nice, at least when I'm standing still. Much like the new warehouse maps if I want to move I better be sure to be looking down at the floor, died a few times during super leaps and didn't know (either that I was under attack or defeated) until my computer stopped choking on the graphics.

Done two arcs so far. The +1 EB at the end of #2 wasn't a welcome encounter as it basically stalled progress there for most of the night on my freshly Ramiel unlocked no-purples frankenslotted defender.

Other than that I like the arcs I've done so far. Not going to get started on the glacial incarnate xp or the apparent weighting of the reward tables.

If so there better be a DXP weekend in April after it goes live.

Staff and beasts are likely to miss this DXP, did darkness control/affinity/assault/whatever make it in?

  23. The best part of the WWD arcs is after every hero you kill off they give a cookie (alignment merit) and a "good job hero". And that's on the blueside.

And the excuse, "oh, but Wade is afraid of you". Well, if he was actually afraid he'd send *competent* assassins.

4% chance for one (1) member of the raid to receive a (1) recipe IIRC.

I don't really get why his pistols should be going for a billion+ when I've been wiping the floor with him and his device since level 20.
