I think, for some reason, I would expect the Community Relations MANAGER to actually communicate the details of new functionality. I know, call me crazy. I get these wierd ideas of how things should be sometimes....
Lighthouse, obviously it's NOT more straightforward. We want to know what the heck this does for us. How will /ignore_spammer help us not receive messages from them anymore? How will it get rid of the spammers for us? WHAT DOES IT DO?

It sometimes doesn't matter what one "wants to know." Clearly, it's on a "need to know" basis. And it probably has to do with something on the CS or server admin side of the fence, which most average players don't need to know.
Especially if the system works great, and fgives CoX a competitive edge in terms of lessening player harassment, which could attract players away from other games without such tech and/ or constant RMT spamming, etc.
If they posted the exact details, they may be posting trade secrets.
As long as the system works be lessening or eliminating spam messages with little to no impact on legitimate players, I'm all for it, regardless of the mechanics involved.
Most players don't need to know how it works, so long as it does work. -

Excellent idea! I also agree with being able to place items in doorways (please!), but that is a great solution also. Have two versions for the actual "doors", for single-stacked and double-stacked floors. Brilliant! -

This is a great idea - a stair with the same dimensions as the current stairs, but twice as tell for double-stacked flooring. I could seriously use something like this for my teleporter floors, which are double-stacked for hanging beacons.
Which brings to mind another request I have - stackable spiral staircases. When creating a room with multiple "floors" (like with those arcane wall-mounted platforms, etc.), a spiral staircase would be the perfect addition to help get to the top "floor". Something 1x1x1 for example, with the ability to stack another on top for rooms with higher ceilings.
And also - why are there no tech wall-mounted platforms? Seems unbalanced in that aspect IMHO. -

Also, my suggestion: Allow some floor or stackable items to be paced at angles. 45 degrees vice 90 degrees, for example. This would be especially good for decorative items on desks, etc. -

I really like this idea. It would give another benefit to the raid teleporters, since base raiding is almost non-existent currently.
However, I also like the idea of another aux device for teleporters that could do this, although this could add more cost depending on how many teleporters a base has.

Absolutely. Let's Have larger teleporters that could support more beacons, aux decies that allow more beacons to be added to a basic teleporter, etc. I don''t care if the teleporter or the aux device make the footprint bigger, as long as it will support more beacons (and hopefully save money vice adding another basic teleporter altogether).

Teleport Beacons have their 'blocking' rules adjusted. I am including this here as it directly affects teleporter improvements. One of the largest headaches I have is designing the look of the beacon placement for:
Ease of Visibility to people can know where they are going
Decorations around it. Frequently run into blocking issues

Ah, there indeed is the problem. The links pointing to the other sections of the thread are broken, but the sections are all there with the sublinks for the individual guides. Yes, that will require some serious editing. At least I can fix the link on my SG's site (which caused me to find this problem), but Ex or LH may have some work cut out for them

Clicking on any link for the Guide to Guides subsections (ie: I. AN INTRODUCTION AND GUIDE TO “GUIDE TO GUIDES”) gives an "Access Denied" massage. Eek!
Were these sections not marked appropriately to avoid pruning last week?

Also, some servers have their own global channel for hunting badges and badge-associated events like this one (Triumph has Triumph Watch, for example). You may want to see if your server has a channel like this, as it might be another way to find invasion teams for earning these badges, or helping others do so -
