I've noticed the broken link to the guide of guides also! I have also noticed that several of my own personal favorites links to builds that I was using are now gone!! THis really chaps my backside and is very inconvenient at the least! Is there any way to get to those links ever again? Like are they archived anywhere? That's alot of extremely useful info that is just gone now! It has almost ticked me off enough that I want to cancel my subscription again....
"Access denied" has happened to me too. BUT! if you scroll down through the Guide to Guides to find the actual link you tried from the top, they work. I don't know what the deal is, but hopefully they fix it soon!

The problem is that the new GtG post was copied from the original before editing, so its internal links point to posts that no longer exist. Going to take some serious link editing to fix all of that.

Ah, there indeed is the problem. The links pointing to the other sections of the thread are broken, but the sections are all there with the sublinks for the individual guides. Yes, that will require some serious editing. At least I can fix the link on my SG's site (which caused me to find this problem), but Ex or LH may have some work cut out for them

Yeah, they're broke for me, too. Don't know how that happened since I checked each link in the first post and opened up each section in it's own tab when I first posted it. Now, instead of the link having the right thread number and post number, both numbers are identically pointing to the post number, which brings back an 'access denied' error. Either there's something buggy with the forum software or some moderator thought they'd 'fix' things on me.

And yes, all the subsections *are* there. If the link doesn't take to you "VI. Combat Mechanics" then just do a quick browser search (Edit / Find) for "VI." or for "Combat" while you have that first post of the Guide to Guides open in your browser. Everything off of the first post is all in that one and same thread.

What about all the other posts, like the ones in the "Blaster", "Controller", "Mastermind" groups? The history on those only go back like 4 pages worth. What happened to all those old posts? It was extremely useful to be able to search for a topic over a years time frame. Why even have a search function that looks for posts that are at least x amount of months or years old when the oldest ones are only a month old? There was alot of useful "guides" in those forums that were never submitted for addition to the "Guide of Guides". Is all that info gone forever now?

They were deleted in the last forum purge. About a week ago.
For the longest time people have been warned that only the Players Guide forum was immune to age-out during forum purges. Forum purges are necessary to keep the database from becoming too unwieldy (darned slow) and buggy. If there were important threads in other forums someone should have alerted the mods to move them to players guides.
We lose a lot of red name (developers) posts that way, too, unfortunately.

Clicking on any link for the Guide to Guides subsections (ie: I. AN INTRODUCTION AND GUIDE TO “GUIDE TO GUIDES”) gives an "Access Denied" massage. Eek!
Were these sections not marked appropriately to avoid pruning last week?
Or is it just me?
