I have a question for you Reds...
Why now?(referring to the numbers being given to us)
Why, after all this time of people clawing and screaming for something like this, why now give it to us?
Did it have to do with split from Cryptic?
    Just curious..
    Thanks!

    Hummmmnnnn, I wonder

according to that info, you'd be better off running unyielding when solo rather than invincible for the best rate of rare salvage and recipe drops, right?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Technically, Tenacious actually gives you the highest number of drops per level (because you have to defeat more mobs per level).

To be honest, though, the drop rates are high enough that just casually playing the game on invincible, my brute was completly IO'd out (including nearly all of the sets and set bonuses that I wanted) just by playing from level 40 to 50: whatever I didn't get through drops, I was able to get through the market. Of course, I wasn't hell bent on filling myself up with the rarest of the rare IOs...

    Which is a good thing
  7. My Fire Tank has taken him down with some help several(read 15+)times. He runs all the Toggles from Fiery Aura & the Toggles from Leaping,he carries green & blue inspirations and uses them as needed

I have used this combo for a year.Once we were all dead but he only had a sliver of health after takeing down the team(1 Tank,1 Defender, and 1 Controller) Just as I thought I saw a sneer begin to cross his face,I remembered that I could Rise like a Phenix. And He ended up face planting as well LOL

The Character Transfer and Character Rename services are still in the testing phase. With any new feature, we want to ensure that it is rock solid and ready before we make it available.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If it is still in testing phase why is it NOT available on Training Room? Kind of hard to test a service that is not available, is it not?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, you have to be on the Test Server, they curently are running two servers so that everyone can test out the transfer system
  9. The Virtue server has a great player base. I'm just afraid we'll be swamped when this goes live

I've been stuck with "Ultimo." since I first started playing because somewhere there's an "Ultimo". If that character is on an inactive account (which seems to be the case), it would sure be nice to have the chance to get rid of that period. Of course, if he's L7+ I won't have that chance anyway, but one never knows.

    [/ QUOTE ]
You may find the actual problem to be that there is a Marvel Comics supervillain named Ultimo.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That could be too, though "Ultimo" shows up when I add it to my friends list, which suggests to me there's a character out there with the name.

I'll point out, as I have before, that Marvel's Ultimo is a less well known character, and there is some uncertainty whether their version or mine came first. I used to make comics, and Ultimo was my flagship character (hence my forum name and my Blaster). From what I hear, Marvel's came into being around the same time mine did. In any case, I've had no trouble, likely in large part due to the fact that my character is completely unlike Marvel's.

[/ QUOTE ] I believe Ultimo the villain 1st appeared about 1969 or so,not sure of the exact date, but given the long history of comic books -It's hard to find names that have NEVER been published

    Ok.

I know there was some problems with rewards granted earlier than they are supposed to (some people were sighted with the 33rd rewards and at least one wth a pet on the Live servers), which goes to show it's not all that reliable.

    [/ QUOTE ]

my friend got his 33 in early December, and he started his account on april 28th,I started mine on april 30th and my 33 was not till late January

    ooh ok

Still, u can usualy leave the travel powers out till at around 30ish(in COV) because they aren't as important to slot as other more important powers...

    [/ QUOTE ]

One of the worst things I find is exemping down a player only to learn they have respeced out their travel power to a much later lvl

Unless you have really great understanding friends with recall friend,do yourself a favor and ALWAYS take a travel power at 14
  13. While I agree with many of your opinions. The way you phrased them was designed to generate alot of heat
I would have listed the 4 travel powers first because almost nobody does without at least one of them, much more than any of the rest of the Pool Powers. I can count on one hand the # of characters I have meet without a Travel Pool, the same cannot be said for any other Pool(to include Fitness)

    6) It seems to me there's something wrong with the enemy kill counters (I feel like someone must have posted this before). I dusted off my lvl 18 blaster last night from about 2 months of disuse and noticed he had no gear kills. He had made a small living killing Clock Princes before, and I know I wiped up a fair # of gears too. Similarly, he had no kills for any other boss type. Were the counters reset after the badge patch, or do you have to kill at least 1 of something post-badge patch for the kill badge counter to come up or what? I feel there's a bug in here somewhere.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No bug here. None of the kill counters (or debt counters, or heal counters, or damage taken counters, etc) counted anything that happened before the badges went live. They only started counting after the badges were created. The only things that were retroactive were the mission and task force badges (because they could go through your character data on the server and see if you'd done those).

Only your last TF,I had done Positron with one of my characters but only got credit for Synapse
