I remembered trap door, but my Alpha is already unlocked

Cool Je, Ill give it a try, I was told that was nerfed. Thanks.

Yah, going for damage badge. If you are referring to the (red) "Crystal of Pain" (Damage obelisk) on CoT maps, they no longer count towards this badge. Is that what you meant?
-
Does anyone know of a Villain Flashback mission that has lava in it (that produces damage)?
-
The one in the white is Soulex, were you in the Exiles SG too? The girl in the skirt (top pic) is Altima, who was in my SG for years, she was in my SG at the time of that pic, that was our old female SG uniform. Black Monday was in our SG during that same period, that is his newer uniform.

Hey Devs, put the shop in the BASES!!!! Remember those giant expensive things that no longer have any purpose?? Let Bases be used for SOMETHING ...ANYTHING...PLEASE!!

Back in my day, we didn't have convenience... you ran through the Hollows for 6 hours begging anyone who would listen to TP you the hell out of a gulch, not that it mattered since your debt was capped.
You damn kids today with your "convenience" and ease of access...
In my day you got 1 of 3 hair dues, the same shirt and pants, a standardized mask...And you liked it! They had 4 colors to choose from and you were grateful!
You're all running around today pretending to be heroes after spending 45 minutes to hit level 50 in AE and you look like some zombie ****** hybrid.
BAH! .... take your convenience, I'll keep working for my check. -
After reading a reply to a post of mine, I realized that the poster was right and I thank her. Those that were my in game friends should still be friends. So I will subscribe to a new attitude "Tabula Rosa", (Latin for Clean slate, even thought the literal translation is "Scratched Tablet").
I have been thinking allot about the 7 years I have been here and all the people who have come and gone. The few who enter our lives in any capacity and offer us friendship in any form. Maybe it's because I'm getting older or maybe it's because I realize that some things are to petty to get lost over.
Sometimes things snowball into a mess and you can't even remember anything other than being angry or feeling betrayed. The actual reason for the feeling is long since forgotten and revenge becomes the only mark left, a scar that you know and makes any sense to you.
The more I think about that the more I realize how childish that seems and I am to old and consider myself to logical a person to fall to such vices.
I have always chosen my friends carefully and in return only asked that they honor that trust. If I was once friends with someone then there had to be a good reason and therefore any anger I am holding onto may be misplaced.
CoH may be just a game, but when I think of all that life has thrown at me in the past 7 years, I also found it to be a refuge, an escape from the madness of my day. It wasn't the power sets or the missions, that's not why we play an MMO. It's the relationships we have formed here. It's knowing that when you log on there will be someone happy to see you and a level of acceptance that we may not be able to find anywhere in our daily lives.
To all that feel that I have wronged them, I am truly and sincerely sorry for anything I have done or you think I may have done. I do not wish to carry on in a fashion that continues to cultivate an appearance or actual breech of trust.
I will extend this olive branch (the term derives from the fact that it takes 10 years for olives to grow and if they are found you know there has not been a war in the area for at least a decade) and hope that you will accept it. There are already enough people in my personal life that I have lost to illness or the passage of time and I wish no one ill will, but rather my best wishes from this point on.
We are individuals, we are a team, we are a community.... we are Justice.

LSK, I am EXTREMELY sorry to hear that as my family has dealt with that illness many times. I wish your family and yourself serenity and wellness and may she rest in peace.

SHARE YOUR STORY TOO...
I have been thinking a lot of when I joined the game back in 2005, Atlas still had a "Skeletal" globe and the players on Justice were a force to be reckoned with.
In my 20's (level wise) I met Black Monday, an Ice - Ice tank who invited me to the "Exiles" SG. He taught me how to play the game properly, how to be a Blaster and how not to anger a tank with my knock back. His #2 in charge was Soulex, a real good guy who also taught me a ton. Everything we did was content driven and it took me almost 7 months to obtain my first 50 and my main, OMEGA-001.
When the "Exiles" went cold, I formed OMEGA SECTOR on January 16, 2006. I got one of favorite team mates Circuit Shock, to act as my #2. We built the SG initially with people we teamed with, as I ran full teams of 8 every night and for hours on end.
In just a few months our new SG exploded and we were filling up with members who would eventually become our core. People like, Cpt Stronghold, Mystic Flow, Ms. Mercy, Brakkion, XJ-9 Battleaxe, Ugly Thing, Synapse Overload, Foole, Moke, Aggro Magnet, WHOSYO, Altima and so, so many other great people.
A good friend of mine, Phantastik, showed me how to build a base and my friend Zappalina, told me about the TOP 100 list. Once I found out about it, it became our SG's goal to overtake the #1 spot from the "Missfit Villains", who held it at the time.
We worked tirelessly and accomplished the task in just over a year, making new friends along the way. With the introduction of issue 9, allot of old friends, including Black Monday, came back to the game and joined our SG. We now had a TS server and really got to enjoy each other's company.
My comp died around issue 12 and I was lucky enough to have Cpt Stronghold keep things running as he became the #2 in OMEGA SECTOR, now that Circuit Shock had left. The SG continued its pace for the most part and are core people were still a major force on the server.
By the time I had gotten back almost a year later, I had built a major gaming machine and was eager to test it out. I logged onto CoH and noticed some drastic changes I wasn't at all a fan of.
First, a lot of my friends had left the game. Great SG's we always had a friendly rivalry with like, Steel Justice, X-FORCE Atlantis, Blazing Justice Squad and more were either gone, or all but dead.
I kept having, what I would later learn were "AE babies" pestering me for money and PL. It was like the entire server brought over every idiot who ever played WoW. I was thoroughly disgusted to see, that the Dev's had either caved into all those players who didn't think they should have to earn it or just miscalculated the affect some of the newly released issues would have on game play.( I have always felt the Dev's have done a great job and even though we all complain from time to time and they are horribly slow to fix most bugs, they have kept this game going for a long time.) I felt like I was walking back into a ghost town, at least as far as playing with people who knew what they were doing.
My global list was all shaded out except for a few scattered names and it felt like CoH was in a major decline. I could tell server population was down across the board and those here had not run any content. The only badges they had were from AE for the most part.
I met up with Cpt Stronghold and it was good to see a familiar face. We talked for a while and came up with a plan to get things back in order.
Unfortunately it never quite felt the same as it had before I left. Some of the people on, the people I may call a friend, had become spiteful and malicious, constantly provoking drama from every angle.
The friendly SG rivalries for #1 on the server had gone from being competitive, to a laundry list of discrediting, deceit, hatred and malicious lies. What had happened to honor? What had happened to fair game play? What had happened to the reputation of my SG and I and why was I so hated all of a sudden?
I had been playing for 7 years, I had helped out and guided countless people in game like allot of other veterans on CoH; like allot of the leadership from my own SG. What was going on and when did CoH go from an escape from the reality of a tough day at home or at work to a job within itself?
Ever since, I have made some poor choices, I have fired back at maliciousness and ignorance, hoping that the truth and logic would be enough.
I, like so many others it seemed, forgot why I was here. I just wanted to have fun with people from all different walks of life. To push aside ones personal faults, whether it be attitude, personal appearance, social awkwardness, lot in life, etc.
I came here, to a place where everyone could live behind a mask and be judged only by the merits of what happens in game. To act as a hero and let the person you always imagined being as a kid come to life, even if only for a few hours at a time.
Now, all that seems gone and so is the enjoyment for me. Something negative that happens in game should not be with me when I log off, though so many are so childish and petty these days.
Cpt Stronghold, Circuit Shock, Ms. Mercy, Black Monday, Synapse Overload, Phantastik, Zappalina, Chrome Family, Brakkion, Mystic Flow, Minos, WHOSYO... even Ugly Knight. Thanks for being who you are and who you were, thank you for making the game and the OMEGA SECTOR what it was.
When the time comes, it will be difficult to say goodbye. You have all been great over the years and now that I'm almost 33 years old, I have learned to appreciate all friends in all forms.
PS thanks to all the Dev's for always working to make things better. -

SG Website (if any): www.OMEGASECTORSG.com
SG Recruiters:Synapse Overlord, Ugly Thing,
Teamspeak/Ventrillo Server: TS3
SG Peak Hours: 7PM - 2AM EST
Other Info: After holding the #1 SG Ranking (Per the SG Registrar) since 2006, OMEGA SECTOR is now focused on major SG Contributors and a tight teaming method.
Since other SG's have started buying prestige like wild fire, we no longer believe the #1 ranking means much anymore. The entirety of this SG will be moving to SWO when released.
In the meantime we are always looking for experienced Team Oriented players, who are here for a good time. -
For those of you not doing the math GG has responded an average of 32.28 times PER DAY on the forums.

Hmmm... its a new thread and GG replied on it... that's odd

HI WW,
Been playing since 9-27-05 but new to the forums so I hope I am posting in the correct area. I am the Leader/Founder of OMEGA SECTOR (Ranked #1 on Justice) and I love the game! You guys have done a great job with all the recent enhancements and I thank you.
I do however have some big concerns about the lack of attention that seems to be directed to SG's and bases however. It seems to me that people (customers) stay longer when part of a good, team oriented and active SG, though I have seen little improvement to this area over the pat 13 issues.
Bases seem to play very little part these days short of a CoP, mine is the biggest plot available but is essentially a citadel of dust as far as our players our concerned. There is little reason for them to enter with ouroborous and other personal teleport devices. The market and vaults allow storage of items and most things in the bases do not directly affect a certain toons on- line life, when it should be a place to come together for a purpose.
In addition I hope there are plans for SG leaders to create as many ranks as they would like and possibly make custom medals/badges for there SG mates. I understand such a system would most likely to be dictated by minimum requirments by the devs. I would also understand if the badges did not affect totals (on badge counts) much in the way SG badges do not.
I also would like to see alternative uses for "Banked Prestige" such as special costumes, custome weapons, or even recipes so we can help our SG members become the builds they would like to be.
I truly hope that you once again make SG's, their bases and their membership more important and much more relevant in game and follow the path of excellence that you brought in to Issue 19.
Thank you for your time. -
Welcome aboard Second Measure and Good Luck.... we're all counting on you.
