I've found BAF and Lambda to be a joy for my Tri-Form WS.

For BAF, (my favorite I think...), I normally get to the next spawn before the tank (or anyone sometimes) in the 40 WW's stage. Find plenty of EE's with the adds from the groups and Nightstar. I also can usually solo a door, which is a great feeling! I use Nova plus pets, and pull out EE's when they recharge. With the AoE's in nova, nothing really makes it too far other than LT's. I might try the Orbiting Death trick once though .

For Lambda, I normally try to get to the next spawn at the same time as the tank, or just before. That way, I can get a full mire/eclipse. Most tanks will leave the previous spawn just a little early, so that the next spawn can be controlled before others take on that extra aggro. I SS/Stealth/TP around the gathering stage, and like others have said, there's plenty of eclipse/mire fodder in that stage. During Marauder, I normally just Nova it. Because he's jumping around so much, it's just easier to follow him.

I've actually been having the problem of dropping Spectral Terror and Phantom Army from around corners. I just figured it was my computer. I ended up just re-queuing the power, and moving my toon around some.

I have a inv/ice tank on Virtue, that is fun to play. Very sturdy, and very easy to cap your positional damages. I've also found it lacking in terms of ST damage, but pretty good with AoE. It also lends itself some more survivability with Ice Patch, herd them all together, drop the patch and they're essentially controlled. You can essentially pull over the aggro cap by doing this, since they can't get back up. With this tank, you'll be concentrating on killing the lt's and bosses, while the minions just die at your feet with the AoE.

but with that said, Any tank will really do fine. They just all play differently, so it all depends on how you want to play your tank. Good luck!

Alright..first rule of playing an Empathy Defender is that it's not a HEALER. Empathy has 3 heals. The rest of the set is all about buffing your team. Also, slotting more than 3 of the same enhancement is useless. Enhancement Diversification lowers the amount that is recharged after 3. http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Enhancement_Diversification

If you want to have your recovery/regen. auras up as much as possible, you're going to need +recharge bonuses from Invention Origin enhancements. Doctor's Wounds is a good place to start, since you can slot that a few times in your build. Also, use your attacks to slot I/O's that give you recharge. Psychic Scream can hold Positron's Blast set, which will give you 6.25%, as will Psychic Tornado.

Speaking of attacks, ditch a lot of those pool powers for actual attacks. Admittedly, your defender isn't going to be the most powerful person on the team, but you still do damage! I cannot stress taking attacks enough. Some good pool powers to take are Maneuvers, Tactics, Vengeance, Hasten, Recall Friend and a travel power.

I'd post Nurse Donna's build, but I'm not at the computer that has it on there, and you should try some stuff on your own. Try rebuilding this toon, use I/O sets, and take some attacks, and you should get some worthwhile feedback. I don't think you can perma RA's, but I have them slotted so RA's and Conserve power are alternating, which works great for me when I solo. (And yes, You can solo...even some EB's!)

Would it be too much to have arrows coming out of guns for TA characters? It would be great for characters who wanted to do Assault Riffle or Dual Pistols and Trick Arrows.

Just as an FYI...I just bought a lvl 15 Res/Def crafted for 15mil, and might hav ebeen able to go a little cheaper. Didn't really shop around too much. Darn impulsive buying....

Recharge, plus some attacks!
If you have RA and Conserve Power, if you max your recharge so that Fortitude is up as often as possible, you'll have it so that you can alternate RAs and Conserve Power and be able to go w/o Stamina. Pick up some more attacks.Maybe Fistful of Arrows and something else. And get Hasten.

My emp/psy is staminaless with minimal +recov and runs Maneuvers, Tactics and Hover, and used to run the shield from Body Mastery. And has a full attack chain. At lvl 50, if you buff correctly, you're going to have a lot of down time from just healing, and need to do something else, and contributing to the battle is the best thing.

The only thing I can say about this, is that my Zombies generally open up with their heal. Granted...their heal is an attack. I haven't paid that much attention to my Bots to see if they actually heal before Pet HP+heal<=100%

RP Level: None of us currently RP, but I don't think any of us would mind if you did :P

Theme/Concept: No theme really, just creating a group of players that get along. We're a branch of a SG on Infinity, The Dominion of Heroes. I created the VG so that members that wanted to play Redside could as well, and have a home.

Activity: There's probably 3 mains right now, 3 others that get on from time to time. I'm on just about everyday at varying times (On more now that I graduate on May 31).

Requirements for Membership: Just be friendly (yes an oxymoron lol) and willing to help others. I usually ask people that I team with, and will also send out a broadcast every now and again.
