  2. Sad news indeed, don't think we have ever teamed up, but for sure we did some PvP in Siren's Call when I had a few alts in Union and I found that PvP could be both fun and civilized.

Hope to see you back soon ML, either here or somewhere else (you know, lightsabers and stuff )
  3. I have a US account and usually I alternate between EU and US servers, when in US servers, I play on Freedom but as I already have slots full there, might try Infinity sometime. I'm currently subscribed to EU servers for now, but might return to US ones sometime, it's the problem of having favourite chars both sides of the pond.

    ^^ This

You don't even get some San Miguel in US to wash the taste of the bacon
  5. We did an all scrapper ITF on Defiant prolly about 1 year ago. It was real fun, specially the Cysts mission where we destroyed 8 Cysts at same time and fought a massive ambush in a pre-designated room, it was hilarious.

And you're right Werner, 10:00 am West Coast is 08:00 pm UK and 09:00 pm Central Europe.
  6. Heya all, I'm Nightmarer (both Nightmarer_EU and I guess I'm also Nightmarer_US) and I am a scrapper addict.

Nothing beats Dark Melee, nuff said. Secondaries I love most are DA, Invuln, SR and hopefully the upcoming Elec since I have great expectations for a DM/Elec and an Elec/Shield.
  7. I'm definitely up for this anytime when they fix the bug, hopefully soon and not SOON™
  8. [ QUOTE ]
The bug was that they were repairing the towers regardless of whether they (the repairmen) were dead or not. e.g. If you killed them, their healing power still triggered. Haven't tested it since the last patch though.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't bother, last Saturday that bug was still going on.
  9. Yup, however that's not a bug, they are supposed to bring them back up if any repairmen left alive when towers are down.
  10. What do I have to bring? I got 2 x DM/SR, 1 x Kat/Invuln, 1 x DM/DA and 1 x Spines/WP here in EU servers.

We did a STF Saturday, even with Earthquake and Volcanic Gasses on towers, repairmen were able to heal it, it took us ages to take down three towers and they even rebuilt one, with the Torrent or Energy Torrent activation times, I'm afraid they'll still be able to repair it since our AoE's didn't work, some of them even repaired the towers after dead.

    dm/invul

I find that slotting funny enough tbh, but hey ho.
  12. Claws/Invuln should be fun, Claws/Elec should be awesome
  13. I honestly don't know what were you trying to achieve on this thread Def, however, as stated many times, MMO's are a business and as such, customers just decide when the product is appealing to them or not. For now, City Of seems not to be appealing for many people, who subsequently are leaving, it's worrying that most of them have been here forever and are well renowned in forums, however, you "give more time" plea is totally out of place since such time costs money.

People leave and come back, I've myself done so in the past and will probably come back sometime in the future, either here or to US servers, but in any case, it will be when I find the game appealing again with some new stuff, and I guess otehr people will do the same, but it's is childish to ask for players to spend money on something that at this very moment they don't find worth spending.

You should be ready to pay for a whole bunch of subs when doing pleas like that, maybe the SOON™ for groundbreaking stuff is really soon, but then again, maybe not.-

But anyway, for the sake of humouring you, I'll give more time to devs, I'll give them all the time they wish until they come up with exciting stuff, then I'll renew my sub

    IT'S A BASELINE TING!
  15. I had a fire/DA who got deleted at lvl 46 because he was on second account and second account just had to go. It was real fun scrapper and I applaud your choice, almost as good as DM/DA.

Unfortunately deleted his build from Mid's, but I had all his toggles running on, all DA toggels + CJ + Tough, didn't bother boosting his def because Fire dmg pretty much took care of everything before I was in serious trouble. Now with these new sets, might have changed my mind if I were still in game.-
  16. Whoah, I love it mate, thank you very much indeed, you caught the spirit of Nightmarer's concept.

    Yay, free game week ftw!
  17. As has been said, depends mainly on the primary, but with the right build (tons of inf / merits / tickets / monopoly notes etc...) DA's endurance can be managed very well, my DM/DA runs 9 toggles (well, one of them is CJ) without major problem and does not need to resource to turning toggles on and off.

In a good team, by the time you are sorting which toggles to turn on/off most foes should be already down.-
  18. Man, give me a break, was thinking of recycling threads but I am not that cheap.

Gratz on your 16th level 50... and 7th lvl50 scrapper. Sorry I wasn't there for you, but I needed to lvl Nightmarer US Version to 50, couldn't allow you to have 1 more lvl 50 Scrapper than me, could I?

Gratz again and well done mate
  19. Thanks for arranging Omega, you did a great job there mate, evryone did a great job and it was real fun... specially on my first dive when I realized I had forgotten popping both Dull Pain and the EoE

    STF EU record.

Well done guys. if the merits come down for this in the next few patches I know who to blame.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Instead of moaning, compensate it and arrange yourself 3 hour STF runs.-
  21. Heh, on EU servers pretty much any defender (make it any AT) has to solo anything *erm, I mean, Rad/Sonic...
  22. Booooo *erm* I mean, sorry to hear that mate...
  23. Nightmarer

    STF EU record.

Then keep repeating it until the dude coughs both the merits and the HO
  24. If you guys get someone with two accounts who can log a dummy beside Faathim just to pick up the missions, you'll shave an hour off the TF since Faathim is not Kind enough to give his cell number during the whole thing.-

    Fix PvP

    [ QUOTE ]
Well the difference is datamining for PvP is different. While TF's provides most valuable reward in end game PvP itself within the zones and arenas has no reward. And a huge drop in PvP zone/features usage will be very very obvious in regards to how effective those changes were. Its pretty obvious that the zones are empty you dont need to be rocket scientist to observe that. And you dont need to be a rocket scientist to see there is something very very wrong in zones when 8 out of 10 AT's that step in there are tanks/brutes/fortunatas

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hmmm, not sure I get what you mean or probably I didn't explain properly myself. What I meant is, if they instate Merit drops in PvP, my take is that plenty of players will PvP, if only to take turns in being defeated and farm said merits since shinies are always attractive and as Cynic said, some ppl even do Dr. Q now for said shinies, plus perma 46 bridges and levelling pacts prove that devs don't give a toss anymore about any form of farming imho, so dualling an account in an Arena/Zone to farm such hypothetical PvP coupons wouldn't (and shouldn't) be perceived as an exploit, so the only datamining devs will have to do is the simple one "who says our PvP is not fun and broken? player presence in zones has increased largely", that's why I meant saying that numbers "prove" otherwise.

At least it is what I expect from them seeing as things are turning out lately.
