Anyone got a good build or advice for slotting this combo?
Could use some ideas since i hate everything i come up with in mids.

A few comments:

- Switch out the Aegis Res/Rech to the Aegis unique in Resist Energies. You shouldn't lose much En/Neg resist since you are so close to the ED limit, and you'll gain some mez resistance as well as 3% psi res.
- Dull Pain can be slotted with Numina Heal, Numina Heal/Rech and Doctored Wounds Heal/Rech, Doctored Wounds Rech. That will put you more or less at the ED limit as well as give you some extra regeneration.
- If you can get the slots, I'd recommend a few more in Health. In part to get some extra regeneration from the power, in part to have a place for the Numina and Regenerative Tissue uniques.

I'm afraid I can't comment on the Dark Melee part, as I lack experience there.

With typed defense I'd emphasize on Smashing/Lethal before other types, myself. Mainly because like half the damage in the game is pure smashing lethal, most of the rest is partially smashing lethal. I used Kinetic Combat on my own Invul toon. Opinions on this may vary, though.

I see you are trying to get as much defense as you can. I would start ditching some powers and getting others. In order to maximize your defense you took many powers such as Weave, Combat Jumping and Manuevers.

- Manuevers isn't much effective in terms of endurance, specially for Brutes.

- Inv meshs better with Tough and Weave more than any other secondary. But again, the efficiency is low compared to other protection powers. If you choose to keep it, slot Boxing as you have only 2 ST melee powers.

- Don't get Combat Jumping. You may choose a better power in its place.

- Get Unstoppable. It will save you against tough enemies such as AVs

- Slot Siphon Life with Heals. Smite, Shadow Punch and even Boxing should be your ST melee. You also have Gloom.

- Health should have 2 more slots.

- No Travel Power... are you sure?

- Shadow Maul at 44 won't help you much. Have you considered Touch of Fear? Great to-hit debuff and few mobs resist Fear.

CJ is often underestimated. Consider that it has a 0.06 endurance per second cost, which is practically free. Granted, this is assuming you wouldn't be able to pick anything more powerful in its place.

Welcome to i13 where MG and sihpon life has its damage buffed. The buzzaw is dead, long live proper attack chains. With low downtime of Dull pain i should be able able to survive if i cram out some more recharge somewhere i will slot a golgi in it though.
Should be able to alternate between
MG, Smite, SL, Smite and Gloom, Smite, SL, Smite if i have calculated things correctly for ST

Thought it was fairly obvious that it wasnt a leveling build but i should have said so, my mistake. Only have it in the build because of the purple set. Buffed range aside the cone is still too narrow.
Touch of fear would only be useful to me as a tohitdebuff and darkest night doest it better since it debuffs damage too. -21% damage is huge when you dont have strong resists to anything but s/l

Hmmm... reading your post gave some ideias about a DM/SR. You are right about the attack chain, but I would still slot Siphon Life with Health. And MG fills your attack chain.

I didn't understand what you were trying to do with Shadow Maul, but now I get.

This is how I have Black Dwarf Drain slotted on my Warshade, but it should work well for Siphon Life too, in theory:

Synthetic Hami-O Nucleolus Exposure x2
Synthetic Hami-O Golgi Exposure x2
Hecatomb Dam/Rech
Doctored Wounds Heal/Rech

Gives near-ED-cap damage and heal, good accuracy and endredux, and decent recharge. Granted, I like frankenslotting, you might not want to lose the set bonuses depending on your priorities in this matter.

I'd replace all the Aegis with Titanium Coatings, which gives a nice 1.5% life for 3 enh. I prefer that over the Fire/cold defense from Aegis which has very situational use imo.

As I consider Invulnerability to be a hybrid set as opposed to a pure Resistance set, I'd have to disagree. 4.5% health is nifty and all, but I'd take the 9.39% F/C Defense over it.

There you go, softcapped for Energy/Negative/Fire Cold with just 1 foe into Invincibility range, for psi you'll have to rely on ranged and AoE positional and for smashing/lethal in your defence/resistance combination. Downsides are no Hasten but Siphon Life should help you until Dull Pain is up again and a bit high on end consumption unless you manage to get +end accolades, ran out of slots for Dark Consumption I'm afraid:

thanks for the build going to see if i can pillage some ideas from it

EDIT: Nice defence slotting but some question marks. will try to emulate something similiar but with with higer global recharge which i will need also darkest night and gloom.

Tbh this build is still not tested, it's intended for my upcoming DM/Invuln Scrapper project US side, but should do as starting point to get ideas from.

Ain't it pesky when that happens? My build is a product of trying to softcap MA/Invuln and same thing happened to me, couldn't find any build I liked so swapped to DM. Might try Fire/Invuln sometime, although everytime I see scrappers got Cremate instead of Combustion... gah Castle!

Well i cant really let this one go yet after seeing how that invul scrapper soloed itf. so ´m going to level it and see if i can find a build that works for me.

And cremate is awesome, rather have a chunky fast activating st attack than a mediocre aoe that takes a half hour to animate.

Fire melee is awesome in general and been tinkering with a fire/invul scrapper with 33 to all but psi.

Well its currently 39 and woah its already awesome. The only problem i have had so far is 2+ spawns with psi powers and level 54 winter horde when aggrocap.

Not much slotting yet except for some reactive armors and kinetic combats(yay for pre nerf market).
Some endurance issues but thats mainly due to my current slotting.

Why not just play a toon you enjoy, minor quibble aside? I really enjoy my BS/Invuln despite the fact she's weak against ranged and Psi. i just play the game to hav fun with my toons.

Besides i enjoy min maxing and my builds are my end goal for a toon.

Ok 50 and build is nearly completed just need a couple of inf sinks and accolades(stupid villain accolades). I dont have the endurance to solo avs as the smite, gloom, mg, smite, gloom, siphon life takes a bit to run(some times i wish i had roll wp).
Very strong soloer and nice in teaams. My current favorite toon.

Only problem is i have to turn to 53+ ae mishes for solo challenges as i destroy normal content :/.

Honorable mentions to a mission filled with awakened coppers which almsot had me but then dull pain recharged.

Invuln is pretty weak to NRG attacks and even weaker against ranged energy attacks. You need to try and get in there without being seen too soon.

Now the regen tissue i only plugged in there since i got it as a drop and thought hey why not. Panacea is tempting though.

Will change the dam/en devastation in gloom to a siphon insight acc/end/rech probably. Also thinking about switching out the devastations to gladiators javelin for a little bit more recovery.

Will also probably change SL slotting as i have now 3 parts crushing impacts(for 50k a recipy yum) and 3 parts touch of nictus)

Still pondering if i want the pvp def unique since i´m already pretty survivable.

My F/C seems low but i havent noticed much other than a nasty boss mission with 53 fireblasters. And def inspirations takes care of that.
Psi isnt a priority as i rather buff my main strengths than cover the hole poorly and sacrifice the rest.

really havent spent all that much on it so far, my guesstimate is 100 million max before i started getting the inf sinks(lotg etc). Pre ticket nerf market helped a lot though.

Anyway, anyone got any fun ideas for slotting?
