  1. You should probably take a look at Firekitty's guide to regen scrappers here

It is very good guide although a bit exaggerated on the regen uberness praise since it is known that a regen is not really a scrapper, it's the ultimate selfish empath

-1 point to Steampunk for not suggesting it
  2. Nightmarer

    A bet

Oh cool thx, I might go for Nin since I never tried it, I thought of SR because I am familiar with it on a few scrappers. I was also thinking of the epic hold thingie, that banana hold Ghost Widow has, not sure it will pierce his Practiced Brawler though, but must be fun on PvE.
And regarding the players PvP skills, we're probably the worst PvP players in game, so he's the only one I may faceplant and I am the only one he may faceplant, anyway, the beers should be fun and if he pays for them, they'll taste MUCH better for sure (don't they always taste better when they're for free? )

    Thx

P.S.: He was asking me for advice on his build, mwahahahaha
  3. Sounds good, although due to the huge diversity of opinions in any subject, I think it would be more useful to use it as a way direct new players to the forums.-
  4. Nightmarer

    A bet

    Heya,
I made a bet with a mate (who btw doesn't read the forums, mwahahahaha). I'll roll an EM/SR Stalker (my first stalker ever) and he will roll a BS/SR scrapper (his first scrapper ever) and we'll meet each other in PvP zones and bet a beer or something to be paid by the pavement licker.
I guess he'll be taking FA and Tactics, so I thought of kiting him until he runs out of end should do the trick.

Soo, is a BS/SR scrapper the worst fear of the Zone PvP Stalker or are there worse?

    Ta!
  5. If Aero gets more wings or a Numina's Unique or something like that, all on him and steal it!
  6. I guess so, there's even a Mothership Raid Channel
  7. GTZ on your ding mate

    It was fun TF indeed.-
  8. Nightmarer

    Epic Question

AV wise I think -res would be more helpful than -rchg because you'd have to stack a lot of -rchg to make it noticeable, while the -res is more useful since your team will take advantage of every single debuff you cast on the AV while they keep pounding him.
If you don't want to go the sonic way because of your blaster, maybe Dark would be an option to debuff the AV accuracy.
  9. Nightmarer

    Epic Question

    AV's have infinite endurance iirc.
  10. Didn't "Ball and Chain" came first in the poll?

I guess that one will be smashing based though
  11. As far as I know, 3rd respec bug hasn't been fixed yet.
  12. OK then:

    1.- Nightmarer DM/SR scrapper lvl 50
    2.- Big Bear
    3.- Shift, lvl 50 DM/DA Scrapper
    4.- the_moog, lvl 50 INV/SS tanker
    5.- Fire Brawler, lvl 50 fire/axe tank*
    6.- Sonique Boom, lvl 50 Sonic/Nrg Blaster
    7.- Dark Spider
    8.- Blue_Note

And that makes a full team ladies and gentlemen. Looking forward to see you tomorrow at 18:30 at RWZ nearby Lady Grey ready for the fine art of kicking butt.

If no objections, I'd like to give Fire Brawler 10-15 min, do you think that should suffice Fire?
  13. And if for some reason you can't use them, you can always give them to me
  14. Sorry I didn't realize of your post earlier. I have a lvl 37 dark/dark in Union and it is a great fun toon to play. Having said that, I also rolled a Dark/Sonic in Defiant currently at lvl 5, although it is too early to judge, the -res from tar patch combined with the continuous -res from Sonic attacks looks extremely promising, I'd recommend you one each. Besides these solo decently.
Also it could be a good option for duoing with an ill/storm to roll an earth/rad troller, with stone cages and quicksand you will keep foes locked for your team mate to unleash the fury of the storm and with your rad secondary you will debilitate the defenses of the foes so the PA can get rid of them easier, hence I'd recommend you another one. I have an earth/rad at lvl 22 and it is also great fun in teams, downside is that his soloing sucks (but he has a cool moustache and that always counts).
  15. You'd have far more fun if you roll a TA/A and spam the following bind on teams: HEEL DA HEAL0RZ!!
  16. Sure, let's pop in tomorrow at 18:30 BST to RWZ, near Lady Grey and we'll complete the team there.-
  17. Nah, impossible, not even Gordon can save us from this one.

And come to Istanbul and see who will become a prav.

    Oi! what is a prav?
  19. Seems so, I guess we'll have to reach 50 before the 27th, I wonder if the devs will give another DXP or something.-

I am basing it on resistance because the defense I can get from set bonuses is too low to be effective and pool defense powers would mean to ditch other toggles, such as CoF and DS.
I'd probably need to shave a slot somewhere to add a LotG +rchg or maybe a Kismet +acc
  21. Not me, you didn't include me on your special thanks

LOL, forget that and count me in for tonight, renew your account and don't make me go to Istanbul, trust me, you don't want that and if you don't believe me, ask Saxtus.

ROFL!! The man is a Genius!!

I spent almost an hour listening to his prank calls. The one to the clothes shop is hilarious and the telemarketer one, unbelieveble!!
  23. Soz, I just had a quick look at it. The Numina's Convalescence regen/recovery, you definitely want that one in Health so the recovery/regen effect is perma instead of lasting 2 min.
Not sure of Scirocco's Dervish and Mako's Bite for a DA, I'd go for Crushing Impact and Multi-Strike, but I'll take a more careful look at it tomorrow.
You can also check Larac's Guide on the Guides section.-

Ah I just realized, you can only equip 1 Numina's regen/recovery. For extra recovery, you may want to add another slot in health and use Miracle +Recovery.-

We'll put together a PuG once there.-
