Heya,
I currently have a Dm/Fire Brute who has been Melee softcapped for quite a while and sometimes, he honestly feels like cheating, specially with the new changes to Fiery Aura. I've been reading on forums that it seems S-L softcapping is more advisable to avoid def debuffs which are usually associated with S-L damage plus my guess is that I'd also be covered for a fair amount of exotic dmg which would be mised with S-L dmg on several attacks (no clue about how high the % of mixed S-l + exotic dmg is vs. pure exotic dmg is). So far my current build is this one:

Would this make a decent farmer? I intended him for regular PvE stuff and if incidentally can make a decent farmer, even better. Afraid his AoE outside of Burn is quite lacky and I've been struggling to softcap him to S-L without the PvP IO. Also, rage might be a tad tight when facing rchg debuffs since it only have a 10.5 sec margin, but I am forgetful and didn't take Hasten since can't leave it in auto.
Any improvements keeping him S-L softcapped will be welcome btw:

I can't see myself grinding Tips for 60 days to get the Gladiator's Armor enhancement and the only place I could fit Weave in was instead of Cloak of fear, so my problem is I want to softcap him to S-L without the Gladiator's Armor and without losing CoF.

Although I agree with the sentiment that at least a couple Dutch players could have been red carded (De Jong and Van Bommel certainly merited for that), the referee's role was not to envy since it's not that easy to send someone off the field in a World Cup final which is meant to be an example of fair play and enjoyable football for a worldwide audience.
Sad to see that a team like Holland who have excelled in the not too distant past for their exquisite football had to resource to rough game and protesting every single decision in order to get the referee and the other team out of balance, it worked well for them against Brazil, glad it didn't work for them last night. I strongly believe Holland have a much much better football than what they showed in the final, but at the end of the day, they're professional players who did what they were instructed to do.- -

If I am not wrong, Cynic managed to keep Follow Up double stacked with around 60% recharge on his Claws/Invuln, it'd be cheaper though on SR due to quickness but on SR you don't have second chances, once you're hit, you take it all. -

I have a Dm/Elec with Blaze mastery. It's really solid, the combination of Siphon Life + Energize is great to keep him alive in all situations, top it with Powersink and you have endless endurance. It's also surprisingly good on the AoE department, the high recharge makes Soul Drain act like a decent AoE, together with Fire Ball, Ligtning Field and Shadow Maul with the right positioning, the AoE output is great.
It's the funniest scrapper I've ever levelled, don't recall the Brute version being that fun but well, Energize didn't exist at the time I levelled the Brute.- -

I think what happened to England and Mexico was a shame, a World Cup should be decided by players game and not by referee mistakes. Unfortunately, it is what we have had under Blatter's reign for a while, check what happened to both Italy and Spain against South Korea in 2002 and add it to Lampard's goal and Tevez first goal against Mexico (what a great goal he scored afterwards btw).
Of course, one can never adventure what would have happened if things had gone another way, pity we'll never know now.- -
Dammit I hate this, I'm starting to think we really have options to win this time and yet, can't help fearing Paraguay will beat us for yet another disappointing World Cup (we spaniards have a history for that I'm afraid).
Liked how we played against Portugal, specially on the second half, now, if only our coach has what he needs to have to put another striker instead of Torres and Cesc Fábregas instead of Xabi Alonso against Paraguay, I'd really be a happy man, if we lose, we'll at least lose with style.-
