Hmmm not really familar with that holiday, does that mean November 27th?
-
Personally I've had some bizzare tells from potenial con artists, one the other day was kinda amusing and went something like this:
Tell, hi r u interested in doing some farming?
Reply, sorry I'm busy with my sg at the moment
Tell, I will pay u 100m inf if go farming with me
Reply, sorry I'd like to help, but I just don't have the time right now.
Tell, will anyone in yr sg help?
Reply, I notice you have an sg, won't they help?
Tell, no, tell u wot make it 200m, I used to work 4 one of those internet sites that sells inf, so I have billions
Reply, If you're so rich why do you want to go farming?
Tell, I dont have any inf on this toon, THATS WHY! do u have 10-20m on you?
Reply, I do why?
Tell, I NEED SOME INF ON THIS TOON NOW! all my inf is on my main toon.
Reply, Look I'm not doubting you, however I wouldn't just hand 20m over, I'd be quite happy to hold some inf for you if you relog as your main toon and then give it back to you.
5 minutes silence
Tell, FUNKY WINKER or something like that. -

Hero Name: Night Hornet
Super Group: GGRRR
Archetype: Magic Scrapper
Badge Count: 129
Primary Power Set: Dual Blades
Secondary Power Set: Willpower
Battle Cry: Don't ever touch my vodka!!!
Character Description: Drinks too much! -
Interesting choices and I like the idea of multiple damage types, however if anything with the sleep, fear, knockback etc. and the different damage options, this would perhaps need some tinkering as the resulting toon may be too powerful.
PS Hiya BK -
Just random thoughts here....
I'm quite new to the boards so maybe this has been suggested a hundred times and perhaps from a technical point theres a million reasons why it cant be done....but the zombie invasion and Jade Warrior's Epic Battle post got me thinking...
THE CROSSOVER EVENT
A new character (similar to the Gamesmaster or the Watcher) weakens the barriers between Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.
Event Mechanic:
Teams entering mission doors could face a team of (player) villains instead of the usual mobs, npc's etc. This would be a random event based on teams from either side being roughly the same lvl and starting missions in a similar-ish timescale, however this selection process would be hidden from players so the element of surprise is there. If this is too difficult, then perhaps selectable missions at train stations could work, with special mission zones.
Special rewards would be offered during the event in PvP zones and the Arena. Instead of GMs why not have some AVs spawning? -
I like the idea...although it's got me thinking
-
Only took a couple of pics, although they don't cspture the scale of the mobs:
tot madness1
tot madness2
tot madness3 -
I had a blast, at one point there were only about 12 heroes standing together with what looked to be a mob of 100+ charging towards us - what's not to like!
-
As our SG has regular teams every day, I think it's a great idea!

mmmmmm does that make me elitist? -
I was on a team of 8 and we tried this in PI last night, again on a smaller scale. It was total chaos but also a lot of fun, one problem though - everyone experienced serious lag issues and when a zombie invasion happened the game was at a virtual standstill.

Thanks for the encouraging words, I appreciate it.
There are of course some sg in-jokes which may not translate well. I had a story in mind and kinda did the first issue as a bit of a laugh, but I got such positive feedback from the members that I sat down and wrote a whole 6 issue story arc...now where are those screenies I need....comeon guys..eeerrr guys -
Hiya,
I have created an ongoing comicbook series based on toons from our SG (GGRRR on Defiant).
Issue 1
Issue 2
Issue 3 (not finished) -
Super Group Name GGRRR (Guys and Gals Ready to Rock & Roll)
About Us:
We are a very friendy SG with experienced players we welcome players old and new. We are a very active SG with regular players online every day and there are regular sg teams and TFs and also other SG events. There is a promotion system and rewards based on prestige earned, we also have both our own hosted website and active forums, a facebook group, a GGRRR Wiki site, our own coalition DJ and an ongoing on-line SG comic. Our SG base is very extensive and over the past 6 months we have consistantly been the most active SG on the server. We are very laid back and believe that the game should always be about having fun. A warped sense of humour is useful but not essential
