    As a tanky for teams you could ask yourself questions like "How will I tank X for a team with just one of any type of defender?". Not a trick question but it can lead to you thinking about recoveries, prevention, aoe damage redirection. In the game you would come across obstacles and the worse thing that can happen is that you and the team can't combine abilities to get a positive result. This may change your mind on powers it may not.

    Slotwise it is quirky but nothing you can't play with, you could look at each power, choice of slotting, and ask yourself with each bonus "Will it really matter? Would something else do better?" I look at percentages like regen and change it into hp/sec something real rather than just looking at a percentage.

    Didn't your initial build do that? That build won't cut everything but it won't be down to the resistances. Mostly it'll be entirely on you or the team, can be any team make up, how the whole of the team performs is the key.

    Tankers have a high threat level. Ensuring aggro is kept. The issue is with AVs and their resistance to -range. Now I need to be clearer. When I mentioned it on the european forums it was about the AVs and their resistance to it. I did include that. The whole time people were getting emps even when they had a stormie with their hurricane puzzled me.

    The whole time people have struggled to solve anything on this game has puzzled me too.

    Remember when -range was added to taunt and it was on test? I was against the change in PvE then, gave the very obvious reason and mentioned so on the European forums....

    I have to cast doubt on any Dev but War Witch or Statesman paying attention to them forums.

    Do an attack chain eps workout, include toggles on for a roughly average fight duration, allow a few secs of recovery between attacking mobs and see where ya end up. To conserve energy I would use a cone attack on 2 targets+ and aoes on 4 targets+ to get the dam per end equal to a ST attack.

    Build up should save endurance because you do more dpe and so attack less particularly vs numbers imo, so with aoes. Against tohit debuffs or +def, useful.

    Air sup is good for -fly and kd. I'd swap pulverize for it, never thought about jawbreaker for it. Sometimes -fly can help. Lets say a flying sniper badly pulls GW and Scirroco. They might attack whilst being in mid air. Someone should ground them. I like tanks to pull anyway but you should find your own reasons.

    I owe alot of my best memories to just being around lovely people on each of the servers. A level 3 mission could be epic and memorable enough.

    I got every type of defender. I could never solo a defender. Just too slow. If there is a team I'd take it and if not I'll play somit else. For me defenders are designed with teams in mind.

    I spent 5 mins on it, the second slot in energize was changed to a rechg, I went for S/L as most attacks come with one or the other and just made it more damaging. I prefer to kill or be killed and end sap as much as poss.

    Tankers taunt/taunting. The only prob there. For sure.

    It's well thought out. I'd play it. It differs from mine in that mine won't have hover. Mine has build up instead which acts as a psuedo stamina allowing me to attack less, use less end per fight duration and recover enough by next group. So mine isn't as much about end recovery in the slotting.

    What is good about hover other than you can put a lotg in it (I would of lotg'd weave) is the resist to -fly. Not having it on a highly defensive tanker is not the end of the world but can be useful.

    Someone saying about how bad Elec tanks have it, prior to any knowledge on say dev oversights for the sake of pvp etc one could of tried tanking LR for suppression or channel gun and resisted the end drain rather than sit there taking smash and lethal.

    I think the second account is still kind of soloing..but as long as ya honest about it, it alright. This has been soloed by different ATs without a second account used at all but the point ya had to make has been made I am sure.

    Being Lazy...or efficient with little time I got a build from the past what someone did on these forums. I kept it for someone just as yaself cos I knew this would come up. Use it as a slotting suggestive idea

    I've teamed with a few elecs without lightning field, which I have on my blaster. Anyway as a team mate I often get aggro which then makes me less efficient overall because I could be mezzed or wrapped up in my own fight doing ST damage when I could be doing twice or more dam per end to enemy group.

    Next up is foc acc and pp. to get LF I'd drop PP or conserve energy because one or neither is needed.

    I haven't seen good aggro control from any Elec armour without LF at all so far.

    Being a team of vets is meaningless. I did this with a whole team full of scrappers but it was the way I tanked it to prevent her healing that mattered most. She went down fast. What could clearly be wrong is how she was being tanked or the fact that some scrappers were fighting with their taunt auras on.

    Edit: The game doesn't suck.

    Nothing new at all. I could enquire to how the tankers taunt was slotted but thats it. I can't imagine it 6 slotted with goodness.

    I would go for S/L def, Rechg, +HP in that order with E/Neg def wherever possible. Can use CJ and Weave for a headstart.

    To my mind that stacking of taunt aids threat. A couple of secs outside of the aura and mobs still easily forget.
