Sonics had to keep up Clarity, cage people, drop Sonic Siphon and keep the shields up.

Kins had to kite IR, keep SB up, etc.

FFers could cage, use Force Bolt, use Force Bubble to move people around and put up the small bubles.

These days, it's Blasters & Emps and a Rad and maybe a Brute. The changes simply didn't need to be this severe, and it's telling that Arena matches use the No Heal Decay and No Travel Suppression options as well.

At the moment I'm alternating buying five rolls fro a Merit or using Merits to buy single recipes for my alts.

Saving up for purples...not going to happen. Saving up for PvP IOs...not going to happen. I can get these through marketing or sales easily enough (those Panaceas aren't cheap these days though, yikes!).

As to the OP's question, Synapse never did speak up on the reasoning but I imagine they wanted to dovetail new content tools with easier acquisiton of rewards. It does seem odd that what was 200 Merits and close to 200 million a few weeks ago is now 100 Merits and 100 million on the market, but there we go.

The issue seems to be that his globals were split under two players, so basically his nephew would be on the Cougar Pride account and the Bliss account depending on what was needed.


Also, champ3v3team.guildportal.com will be posting the schedules as well. There are forums available for you all to shoot the crap away from these forums, heh, and to discuss the games etc.
