  1. Just torched my weekly billion- it *should* put us in the top ten once the dum listings update.

    =D
  2. drat, I wasn't the beneficiary!

    >:e
  3. tonight I needed an Ancient Bone.

There were 10 on the market.

    last 5 between 100k-1m.

I bid 5555 and picked it up about ten seconds later.

what's it mean? Who knows, besides people listing junk salvage for junk prices no matter how low supply gets.
  4. my in-box was full of recipes I was moving around, I didn't notice the $$$ until I reclaimed 'em!

    =(
  5. We're tap-tap-tapping on the door of the Top Ten thanks to a 1b anonymous donation to our hungry inf furnace, in keeping with the recent Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court.

    VIVA BONFIRE!!1
  6. If I could graft the AR animations onto fire or energy blast, that would RULE.

But on the other hand, I didn't realize Melt Armor was an AoE......hmmm.

Sorta spoiled for choice with the tanker APPs, I'm liking them all!
  9. my all time favorite RPG for backstory/writing is, hands down, Deadlands (and to a lesser extent its sequel, Hell on Earth). That it also had by the best, most thematic game mechanics of all time was just the icing on the cake.

    And D20 is an abomination.
  10. C'mon gang, wise up.

Discussing the market with AF is like talking metaphysics with Cotton Mather.
  11. best overbuy EVAR!

can't wait to get home and see if I scored some of the loot!

So if they upgraded Atlas and Mercy you'd be equally bored in a few run-throughs.

Not sure what would satisfy you, other than some sort of infinitely variable mission generator.

If only we had one of those....

    to you perhaps.

it can have a great deal of impact on the perceptions of others regarding how reasonable and valid your position is.
  14. nother quick question:

I'm leaning toward the ice mastery EPP for thematic reasons, but frankly I'm having a hard time ignoring Physical Perfection....is that as good as I think it is for a tank?

Basically what they did with GR, although it's a paid expansion.

It took care of both factions problems with the 'low level game' in one fell swoop.

Oh Noez, Captain Hero iz dead....NOT! is one of the hoariest cliches in the annals of superhero comics.

All my pals at the comic shop were laughing at the rubes lined up outside the day that issue went on sale, debating how PO'ed they'd be when Supes popped back up good as new in a few weeks or months.

Corporate economics also dictated his return. Supes the brand generates more $$$ for the Time Warner bottom line than any other character in their stable, there's no way they'd cash him out.

I was pretty young back when they killed Superman, and I didn't have a lot of comic book knowledge under my hat...
Then for you it was probably pretty shocking.

But on the wider stage of pop culture it was about as shocking as Kanye West putting his foot in his mouth at an awards show.

would you look at this prophetic post!

I may have more than my usual billion to burn- one of my niches collapsed, but I logged in last night to find another one that had been percolating along nicely between 10-20m had suddenly SOLD OUT for 40m each across three characters.

Very strange, but whatever- the bonfire is a hungry god!

If he'd stayed dead, THAT would've been a huge shock.
As it stands it's just another in a long line of comic book Soap Opera deaths, as genuine and lasting as any other promotional 'event' in a character's never-ending career.
  20. nothing could be less shocking than the 'death' of Superman- it was relentlessly promoted for months by a gigantic media conglomerate. Pretty much anyone in North America who owned a television, read a newspaper or had even a spark of interest in pop culture knew what was coming well before it happened.

It should come with at least 1 really cool looking brooch for each cape, that detail was totally overlooked.
It really doesnt have an option for each kind of cape, like, high collar, single shoulder, short cape and so on? Really?
Likewise, I'd like a masseuse to come and give me a foot rub at my computer desk every time I buy a pack....that this does not happen is a travesty of capitalism!

You need to list at a profit- while profligate buyers may well turn your efforts to undersell against you, intent matters.

Those people are obviously idiots and should be summarily ignored.
