Wow that's alot better. How did you get the def higher?... i can never get the def high enough on any builds i make...

Your build is way cheaper... Damn near no end usage. If Vengence is down just pop 2 purples then your at cap..Yours is very good on end. I need blues or i'm done lol. Mine has more aoe/damage abilities/damge in it. But bad end usage I can't get over your end usage.. How did you get it so low?

This is a new Spines / FA Build I came up with for my lvl 38 scrapper. Should be 50 by tomorrow. This build is build for AE Farmer. So Recharge 1st then Defense.. The Main goal is to get haste perma and my aoe's and heal down to a good recharge speed. Also I need to get my Defense as high as possible for Fire Farms. 45% is soft cap. The close to it the better and the less purples you need... At first i had a alot of Obliteration in those damage ability's but got into a 5 of 5 problem right away with Acc buffs.. I changed those out to Scircco's Dervish. Plus I got mroe fire defense out of them. I went with blaze Mastery because of the low recharge of Fire Blast and it does so much damage. Fireball also does crazy amounts of damage and it has a good recharge on it. Its also AOE.. Now when you hit lvl 50 and get your alpha slot unlocked there are a few cool things you can do.. If you get Cardiac Core or Raidal it will reduce your End usage of all your abilitiys by 33% or 45% and Increase Damage resist by 20%. IF you get that alpha then you can do away with FA's Temp Protection and get maybe stealth. Stealth increase your over all defense by 3.75%. With a defense buff by 4.71. This is a decent improvement to defense. Before Stealth you have 27.6% Fire Defense. With stealth you have 32.3% Fire defense. Looking good.. Now for you get cap defense all you need is one purple in a AE farm. Pretty cool.. You also use a Luck of the Gamble +7.5% Recharge into to get hasten closer to perma.. I think its 8 sec off perma...
Also if you take a look at the lvl 49 Power selection Vengeance it will increace your defence by 21.74% for 120sec. Recharge is 134.4. So you can get this kinda perma as well. You really don't need it but nothens wrong with more defense lol. it also heals you. Now you can take Veng out and put anything you like there. Maybe a travel power or Melt Armor or even Confront (taunt). Sometimes mobs will run away from you when your killing things fast or just owning everything. You can keep then close by taunting every once in a while. I've even used it to pull mobs to me so I can hit them all with my Judgement and aoe's.. you can even buff you defense with the alpha slot ability's but they don't increase it by much.
Well that's about it i think for now. Remember this build is for you to build your wealth up till you can start buying Purple's. Start farming your at lvl 12 or so. then you start using so's at lvl 22 try it on +2/8. At lvl 40 try +3.. Its good practice and to see if you can do it. When you hit 50 you goal is to go into farm with nothen but red's in your inspiration storage and use them in the farm.. Maybe bring 5 purples just in case. you never no whats going to happen...

Heres the SS/FA build. great Build for Farming. There are a few Purples in this build. If your just starting out or just hit 50 with low funds just replace the purples with anything that's as close to the purple's. You can some what use this in PVE also.. Pls list any comments below.

Heres my new Rad/Rad build. I'm new to corruptors and to Rads. Main Goal was to get as much recharge has a could then some end then some regen and Defense last... Heres a list of some of the totals:
Defense:
S/L 9.8% rest is about 15% ( Iwanted to get at least 20%)
Resis:
S/L 28%
Regen 211%
Max HP: 110.9%
EndRec: 196% 3.44/s
Haste: +88.75% + 70% (from Haste)= +158.75% ( wanted this in the 200's)
tohit: 34%
Damage: +83.5%
Now hers the build. if you have abetter build that can egt me to perma the buffs and much better recharge pls post it... Also a max defense build. I wanna try and farm with it one day....Also I had Burnout at one point but switched it out with combat jumping for +7.5 Recharge. Might put it back to test how good it is..

With the second build above there are a few problems.. As a Debuff you want you ability up all the time. Some of your ability's do stack... Hasten should be perma if you have it.. that will increase recharge by 70%. That's alot. Also you barely have any defense...On alot of these TF and Soloing Defense/Resist will keep you alive... Try to get recharge has high as you can get it. if you can get S/L Defense to maybe around 20% that's better then nothen... Also put maybe 2 more Lotg +recharge in there some where. Another. Most abilitys do not need 6 slots..

Thisa whole thread is for AE Farming only.. I'll be making a PVE one later. But first I need to farm ae for the tickets then the rolls then the cash...
As far as denfese i'm trying to get as close to 45% Fire Defense.. I don't see any other way to get there.. I don't need health in a AE Farm those Aegis have given me 9%Defense. so far... total I'm at about 30 soemthing...I want atleast 10 more but don't no where to get it from...
Fire Defense, regen, recharge.. Thats what i need... I don't no anything about mids. I just looking for anything that can get me to 45%.. This build will end up being a build for a DB/Fa to work off of since there aren't any around... -
You no this new change to ambush's is nothen lol.. All you gotta do is kill all the mobs and the 2 ambush's then leave and start the farm over again.. lol... the devs make me laugh sometimes.. There not changing anything. Its like there saying they don't want us in there for that long....No change at all... Also on some of these farm maps you don't even need amuchs's

Has anyone even tried Dual Blades/FA? Wow is so sick.. I just lvled it doing the lvl 1 farm. I need a pboa attack under lvl 6.. Its mostly the only one that can hit 10 targets and has a descent cd. I did that till lvl 40.. Then I started doing the Burn the Witchs Fire farm..SO easy.. The mobs die so damn fast because of all the aoe DB/FA has plus the status effects that you can add on to them.. At lvl 48 I started doing +3. I had 90% Fire res before I hit lvl 30. With doing the +3's at that lvl I needed the Purples to keep me up. But they were dieing and I did that till 50. At 50 I did +4's. all SO's. I had to use purples to fill the defense gap but man the mobs were dieing so fast... It got to the point where everytime i used a aoe another would be up. I got Burn to the point where when it was off cd the last burn was just done.. I'm in the process of making another Brute (free to play) to farm my main (VIP).... So I wanna try another combo.. I need a good Aoe that does damage from lvl 6 and under and a good recharge...... SS is not it..

Do you have to do tips to go from hero to Villian to get that mastery or does demon get it from the start or do you just start in Going Rogue and you get it all?

Quote:Get rid of your Aegis sets and replace them with something that grants +HP or S/L defense. You don't need much fire defense on a /FA brute and here's why:
* You resist 90% of all fire damage thrown your way. You don't need more survivability in Fire farms.
*When farming you are getting a non-stop stream of inspirations. Greens, purples, reds, etc. You will likely be way over the defense soft-cap to everything 100% of the time when farming.
*When -not- farming, that Fire/Cold defense won't be helping you much at all. Far far more enemies in this game use S/L typed attacks. Something like 70% of every NPC attack in the game has either a smashing or lethal component so you'd be much better off getting yourself to 32.5%+ S/L defense.
As for making money, I gave a ton of advice in the last thread you posted so I suggest checking there.
Makes alot of since...I just did a few +4 (54) AE with no problem. I used maybe 2 to 3 purples to get me to 40% or and I was good...Now I gotta find something else to replace Aegis.. -
that build is realy nice.. I think I'll try it for PVE.. i think I have enough to for it now... I need to work on a final pve build also... so much money...

I made this toon on Friday night and hit 50 on Monday.. I lvled it solo farming through AE..I started with the brute lvl 1 farm at lvl 10 and did it till lvl 30.. Then I did +3 till lvl 40. I started farming the Fire farms whice had 1-54. I did that with +2/8 with boss's just fine. Well with the help of purples.. I love them purples.... So now its time for the lvl 50 game play.. This is the build I made for farming AE for tickets for the recipe reward rolls (gold and silver). This is my first time playing with sets so pls be kind.. I did a search on the forums and looked at alot of builds and got alot of my info/training from them...Heres the build....
The main reason for Dual blades is because of its aoe's.. They are bad ***.. very good.. You also get a PBOA under lvl 10 so it was perfect for the lvl Brute farm..Plus the power set is kinda fast with its animation. I took most of the single target powers out and went with all aoe and one high damage/knockdown single target ability. I can pretty much do the Sweep Combo (PBAoE Damage(Lethal), Knockdown) none stop.. crazy damage from that... Also can anyone help me with a low cost version of this build? i just hit 50 and maybe only have like 100mil from lvling people... I was only able to get 32.5% Fire Defense. I think the cap/soft cap is 45%. not sure.. maybe a purple can cover it or a accolade or something ,,,thx for all the input...heres the build:

Out of all these people who have been playing the game years no one can help me with sets? Also why aren't there alot of mid sets builds online? I no if I had good build with full sets I would share it.. I don't get it.. There should be a crap load of builds with sets online.. I've been looking through the forms and there is alot of people looking for this info..Another thing alot of these guides don't even have any builds suggestions in there guide. Every Guide should have build recommendations and how each and every build works.. That way the few of use who doesn't no much about it can learn from it..I'm the type of person who needs to see every little state/info about a build so i can learn how the whole thing fits together. Then if someone else needs help I can help them........

I just made a DB/FA and lvl 41 atm... I need you guys help with this builds sets.. I don't no much about sets. Every time I join a party I do info on everyone and notice they have alot of + this and that... So I made a build in mids with these sets.. I no alot of these cost alot of money so if you guys can pls help me make a build for someone that just hits 50 with a lil bit of money and then another build for for end game/final. Between my charactors i have like 80mil.. by 50 i should have more.. I've been doing gold reward rolls in AE and got a few Luck of the gambler.. those should sell fast..Pls help me out here.. I just made a DB/FA and lvl 41 atm... I need you guys help with this builds sets.. I don't no much about sets. Every time I join a party I do info on everyone and notice they have alot of + this and that... So I made a build in mids with these sets.. I no alot of these cost alot of money so if you guys can pls help me make a build for someone that just hits 50 with a lil bit of money and then another build for for end game/final. Between my charactors i have like 80mil.. by 50 i should have more.. I've been doing gold reward rolls in AE and got a few Luck of the gambler.. those should sell fast..Pls help me out here.. Also I think i need max fire resist and alot of end/end regain.. Dual blades kills my end.. I might try a SS/Fa later also... This toon will mainly be my money maker/farmer...I will be doing trials/TF/Incarnate...Help em pls

I just started a MM Demon/Time yesterday after reading Catministrator guide ( http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=218931 ) link
I was going to go dark because that's what most of the guides did but they were made a few years ago.. I started looking at all the Darks ability's and the other secondary's. I them remembered about the new Time power set and went to see if we *** MM's can use it.. Yes we can... I looked at its ability's and dark's together and I gotta say that Time beats it big time. The ability's are so good. time has a AOE Hot. It heals everything... Its always up right when i need it...And it gets stronger if the targets has a time buff on them. Its kinda like the lower tier ability get better if the higher teri ability's are on the targets/allys. the aoe heals heal for alot more, The aoe slows will have a lover/stronger holds/slows. I'm not sure if people noticed it in the ability's info but just about every ability has a secondary effect if the target is Delayed/Accelerated/etc....I read someone that someone said that the times debuffs aren't as strong as a few other power sets.. They did not read the secondary effects... Those are what bring Time over the top of the rest......I'm so happy that I picked Time.. Powerful set....Plus the whole theme of demons goes with Time....When demons spawn on our plane they have to manipulate time/space for them to scross over to our plane....Nice combo... -
I was gonna make a demon/dark but then I remembered the time thing came out... It has great aoe heals, crazy buffs, and debuffs..What do you guys think?
