I would go TF, PP, SB, Foss, QS, and PB... then what ever else to finish... though good PvPers will see this comming nublettes will die.
-
ehhh.. i would still take aim for debuff toggle reasons.
-
both web and shark are good... if solo go shark... if team and ur doing offense and not doing much support in zone go for web... if team support go shark.
-
go to pocket D and put singy on a pool table and watch the greatest unfold before you.
-
manuvers will not help you at all in PvP as a blaster.
-
go with earth/nrg, grav/nrg, or mind/nrg.
PFF will not save your life like it did before or like it does in PvE but the mace debuff is very good and will give you the advantage in most 1on1 or spike situations. -
That's like almost the opposite of my list.
anyways phase on TA MMs.n Some Melee toons like the glue on their face. -
first choice for zones second choice for arena.
-
go with sonic/pain for the most effectiveness with your friend. energy will be redundant as he already has all the KU you guys will need. You can provide him buffs, heals, res debuffs, and some controll if he is not mace mastery already.
go with sonic/pain. -

Psi/EM, Sonic/EM, Arch/EM Blaster. Fire/Regen, BS/Regen Scrapper. Fire/SS, Inv/SS, Shield/SS Tanker.
[/ QUOTE ]
Why the shield/ss tank? All the others make sense, but that one.
[/ QUOTE ]
Because Shields on Tankers is quite godly in zone pvp believe it or not.
[/ QUOTE ]
No kidding? I really liked my DM/SD brute, but was afraid SD was going to be useless in zone pvp. Maybe I'll roll a SD tank.
[/ QUOTE ]
uhh.... i wouldn't unless you plan to Fight Club. If you get weapons mastery on that scrappers you'll be just as effective as your Earth/TA and be able to put out some damage. Your Earth/TA however will be always more effective vs stalkers. And ur Crab will be a good Fight Clubber if played like a sissy running arround and healing a lot since the other guy is 'not allowed to pop or run back' lol.
Anyhow, pick a sonic blaster or sonic/therm corr... do hit and run tactics and you won't fail in zone PvP again. -

Yea npcs are a hassle but a good MM who is aware of his surroundings should always be on the look out for when to pull his henchmen back. Generally speaking, minion level mobs are little to no threat, an MM should be more than able to handle an opponent in addition to 1 or 2 minions at the same time. 1 Lt is also ok, only bosses and big mobs pose a problem. But an MM who just recklessly lets his pets lose on auto attack and attracts a ton of aggro speaks more about the player than about the class itself.

ok... well while your doing all this micro managing, the 2 blasters and an SS tank just came and bum rushed you to the ground. And if your not dealing with NPCs, players don't even mind you... If i were a zone MM i'd pick up taunt because all they really set up in a pvp zone is a little mini base for villains and this mini base or huddle is more a psychological advantage for the vills than anything effective kinda like standing in dispersion bubble in SC lol. idk man MMs are a tough AT to play well. They'd do well in an enclosed area... the bigger the place is the less effective they are. But should they be uber effective in PvP while having that much bag o HP? Tanks aren't... so its what you chose... less offensiveness for more Meat.
on a side note my tank can't even handle Lts. in RV and i have to phase to tank in PvE lol. They are slightly changing NPCs in zones in i15 this however will not really help MMs all that much. -
both VEATs have a 1.000 damage modifier for both range and melee. Its the only AT that has that high of a mod for range and melee in one form. It's not the mod that makes you're DPS feel crappy its the attacks themselves... the only VEAT that has a good amount of DPS is the Crab when all its pets are out and if the other guy is just standing there taking all the damage. Great for Fight Clubbing. If i were insane enough to make a fight clubber i'd def make a crab lol.
-
fire/ss or inv/ss works if you are going with stone epic i would suggest getting alot of +recharge.
-
If you simply do not attack an MM they don't have to offense, for the most part, to hunt trap and kill you. In the end, theyre like attack Tanks with out taunt.
-
if you set it for a certain level, higher level characters will SK down.
-
I think they should put lift's damage scale on par with levitate much like they did so with the dominator version of lift.
-
ooops i was using troller values from memory... shoulda double checked. Anywho, slows are a soft controll and since controller's main purpose is mezz and corruptor's are damage, trollers get a slightly higher value.
-
no that is not even, but they are not talking about that.

i see. As far as -movement goes Glue arrow is roughly 20+% more effective than LR because LRs base (for you) is about 75% while glue arrow is 90%. This isn't the biggest difference. Glue Arrow's advantge comes from its -jump component. Enemies that cannot jump will mostly likely never be able to path around certain areas nor when its crowded can they find a way to get into melee range of a brute for example. Since LR's -jump speed is relatively low your mobs are gonna be able to jump over things and make it seem like they are getting away faster.
-
Yes like I said, there are few cases where LR becomes very handy, yet most of the time it's not. At the same time, not having it can really slow you and your team down a bit in those certain cases.
As for the slow, sonic does not synergize well here with that debuff. Ice blast would have been a much better choice if you want to slow mobs that much. -
Well Star, remember, these ratings are very subjectified and many of these opinionated ratings come from those who play a very nitch PvP game and are from what they've personally experienced over however long they've PvPed. So to get a more accurate answer, you'd have to ask the individual 1. what do type of PvP do they normally do? 2. How long and how often do they do this type of PvP? From the sound of things, you seem to have been an Arena PvPer. If so review my ratings as I've tried to be as objective as possible with them for Arena play.
-
what are you talking about CHAOS... look into their subject. Sig stands for signature.
-
LR has limited usefulness against normal mobs that you'd run into doing normal missions especially solo. The -recharge and -movement in LR, although, more apparent is the lesser factor for this critical power in rad. LR's -regen is by far one the most important aspect of your set as it allows you and your to to down an AV or Hero much faster.
