I don't know why you took this revelation as an opportunity to attempt to shove it in my face. If you want to play a gnat, that's fine. Just don't get upset when you're hit by the flyswatter?
Eeeehhh, considering we were on the track to transcend the Well, that immediately nullifies it as the "penultimate power." The existence of The Battalion AND The Dimensionless prove that the Well isn't the end-all be-all.

It's only perfect on paper. Transgaming's execution is piss poor and the "work" done on the CoH client really pointed this out.
  6. Stay in touch, buddy. We love you guys. Thanks for everything, and good luck out there.
  7. This conversation sure is relevant to the OP

Never going to happen. Guild Wars 2 by itself is getting its own wrinkles ironed out by ANet. The mac port will rely solely on Transgaming for its wrinkles, and considering how bloody ****ing awful the support for the CoH mac port was (see: none whatsoever) I wouldn't get any hopes up for the GW2 mac client beta surviving past Christmas.

Time for the juicy stuff. Compromising pictures, dirty credit card statements, unlawful phone records to name a few.

Blackmail is what I'm getting at, any paparazzi or P.I.s play We need dirt and we need it NAO!!!!!!!!!!
Please stay the hell away from the Save CoH efforts.

No, they really didn't and they never, ever will. Transgaming was dead and utterly silent for the first two years of the CoH Mac client and only spoke up when Paragon put pressure on them to fix the Mac Paragon Store issue so Mac users could play on launch of the store. Then, they went utterly silent again.

When I asked Zwill to consult them about the constant memory leaks, assertion failures and debug failures and the constant crashing when using the in-game store for more than three minutes. He replied that they had no intention of fixing those issues "in the forseeable future."

Transgaming is a terrible company, and I wish NC would cut them loose and let them wither away in the hellhole that is GameTree, where they belong. They lack the dedication to work with big name games like GW2. If that wasn't true they'd be more active in fixing their buggy, crashy P-O-S Cider wrapper with the newer Wine builds that have been released several times in the last year, rather than using an outdated build from 2009 that has had "minor tweaks" made to use web API calls.
  12. I was going to try GW2's mac client until I saw Transgaming.

Posted in their forums warning them of the problems the current Cider wrapper has and was shot down by 50 people calling me some pretty nasty names.

Two hours later, over sixty threads detailing the exact issues I listed popped up. I hope they choke on my "I told you so."

I don't think I can. Mods aren't on the boards anymore and thread titles can't be changed.

Ts: Being more clear about the way the well operated in the ramiel arc. Some players became convinced we were saying that the well was the ultimate source of all super powers. Nothing could be further from the truth.
  16. Jesus H. Christ, people. All I said was I was sad and then I posted the link. I didn't cry doom or put it in a negative connotation.

Act like you have some god damned sense.
  17. My account expires in May of 2013. I bought a one-year sub around the same month this year. Will the time I paid for beyond November 30 be lost or will I receive a refund?

Yeah. They give task forces and show up in VIP content. For everything else there's paper missions and other contacts who (more often than not) are not hugely popular signature heroes. You don't spend a huge chunk of your time running their laundry list for them, like you do in CO (looking at you, Justiciar and Witchcraft).

Nice try there, champ, but you missed the mark.

DCUO is great if you enjoy having your face firmly fastened to the loins of every franchise DC superhero ever. Nothing says "I'm a superhero" like being Superman's b****.

    Yyyyup.

What's that, vStat Menus? My GPU is at 215 degrees fahrenheit thanks to Cider? And if I end the Cider process my temperature drops back to 102?

So thanks for nothing, NC Soft.
Did you try running CoH on Bootcamp? Most of the performance/stability issues with the CoH Mac client came directly from the Cider wrapper.

It's still Transgaming. I'll pass. The sheer drop in performance on my machine is enough to make me keep using Bootcamp. The Cider wrapper is awful and it's the same one CoH used.
