Further update. Maybe this might help. I live in Nevada. Don't know how the routing goes from here to a COH server but maybe it is this region that it having the problem.
-
My server is Justice. Already checked with my ISP and nothing wrong with my line, no packets lost. As far as others I have no idea unless they post here. I don't think it is a server issue as I cannot log into the game to select the server now.
-
This is getting rediculous! I can't stay in the dang game for more than 5 minutes before I mapserve. The game was working FINE last night at 2am PST. I don't know what was done with this last patch but is causing a major problem. I can log in and zone from Atlas to Talos but the moment I try to go into my base mapserve. OR if I can get into the base zoning out gives me the mapserve error "cannot find mapserver try again later". Then I try to log back into the game and it wont connect at all. I ttry everything, repair (consistancy check), reboot my computer, reboot my DSL, turn off my firewall, NOTHING on my end seems to correct this. I can only assume at this point it is on your end. Can a dev PLEASE ackowledge this! It's frustrating feeling ignored.
-
Quote:yep, that describes what is happening to me now too. I can log in for a few minutes, game freezes then I can't get back in for about an hour while I reboot everything. Then I can get back in for a little bit (10minutes) and game freeze/lock out for another hour.I am seeing some similar symptoms... 2 characters on Infinity and 1 on Virtue lost mapserver connection while zoning (one into Cim, then the other two as I tried to log in). Then I wasn't able to log in for at least ten minutes, while I tried restarting the client.
After I was able to log in, the problem was gone for about 30 minutes...and I joined a task force on Virtue with a fourth character. First two missions of the Katie Hannon TF went well...but on the third mission, mapserver connection was lost (with a long blackscreen) while entering the map. It gave me a small dialog window to "try again" but ultimately I had to restart the client. Second try, same result. The team had moved on the the fourth and final mission. Same thing happened when I tried to enter that map. Restarted yet again.
As of now, I'm getting the "game client unable to connect..." message again when I attempt to log in. -
Earlier I was able to log in but would get kicked when zoning from an SG base. Now I can't log back into the game. I get the message: : The game client was unable to connect to the login server. This may be due to a local network issue such as a firewall block, or may be because the login server is down for maintenance. Please check your network settings and try again, or check http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/news/s...ver_status.php for current server status." I have rebooted my computer 4 times. I have run the Repair (consistancy check) and also rebooted my modem & router and still unable to log in.
-
I keep getting kicked when zoning out of SG base. Tested this 4 times now in Atlas and all 4 times get kicked while zoning out into Atlas. I get "No mapserver connection" Message. When I try to log back in I get the message no connection found. I run the consistancey check then can log back in. Will try it in different cities and update.

Used Windfall on 2 different characters. Neither one had an increase of any drop. On my level 50 running the Underground TF I had zero recipes and zero rare salvage. As it is written this should not have happened on either toon. Has anyone experienced this?

Since issue 21 went live it seems that the Robes, Jackets and Trench coats sit higher on the male model. There is a very noticable gap between them and the body and they also seem to higher on the body. Increaseing or decreasing the chest or shoulder does nothing to correct this. Going sleeveless on any of them makes the gap much more noticable.
More pieces to add to the list:
Many of the shoulder pieces seem off kilter. The resistance shoulders are pulled away from the shoulder and seem to be peeled back towards the back. The Valkerie shoulders 2 & 3 seem much bigger and farther away from the shoulder as well. The Gladiator piece is slid towards the front and cuts into the chest. more so on the left shoulder than the right. -
This was a great thing to change in the game. The only problem is you still cannot do any mission in Oro until 25 because you can't dfo the Oro starter quest until then.
-
Has anyone else experienced this. I had the aura Wisp pre issue 21 now I don't have it as a choice. Can't find anything on the forums about this either.
-
The union server is down along with a few others

Quote:here are the stats from COH Helper:A lot of this actually depends on your underlying system.
If you're running an i7 2600K with 16GB of RAM, you'd get one answer.
If you're running an early Core2Duo with 2GB of RAM, you'd get another.
If you're running a P4 2.8Ghz with 1GB of RAM, we'd tell you to upgrade your base system first.
Hit the "HELP ME!" link in my sig and run CoH Helper as directed there. Paste it back in here.
If your system's a pre-built from a major manufacturer, give us the manufacturer and the model number.
Additionally what kind of budget are you running on (real dollar amounts please). This also helps would-be assistants in homing in on the best bang for the buck for you.

What is a good and not too expensive graphics card that runs City well, and without lag during a mothership raid?

Can't find anywhere else I can start this thread so here goes.
Since the issue 21 isn't here yet and wont be release for the immediate future (2 or more weeks) why not put the booster packs back into the store until you have a release date selected. This way it gives your customers a chance to finish buying the boosters they were unable to get due to the short notice (1 week) of the removal of the boosters. It really seems like NCSoft jumped the gun a little bit by pulling them before they even had a release date of the new issue. Most other companies wait a week maybe 2 before their release dates to remove items from stock like this. Since it is a virtual item it is even easier to leave them in the store until the night before you make issue 21 live. Just a thought.
As for why I'm posting this, yes I tried to purchase the boosters I was missing but could not get them all because of the 3 purchase lockout feature the store has. I got paid the 29th so could not get them sooner and customer support was closed by the time I got home that day so could not request for them to unlock my account. -
While you are correct that we don't know the release date we do know it wasn't yesterday. There was no reason for them to pull them from the store this soon. Giving one week notice and having the store going down as often as it did in that week, they should have left them in the store until release day.
-
My problem is that my wife, 3 children and myself have an account, for over a week we have been trying to get all the packs we want that are missing (now that we have the money to spare) and low and behold I get the message I can't buy anymore for the next 24 hours. That was last night. Billing support is closed by the time I get home from work so can't call them to unlock the accounts. Durring that week the store was down multiple times so couldn't but the packs then. So now I have 2 accounts missing the boosters they wanted and customer support can only say "Sorry you should have bought them yesterday, and you could have used email to conteact us to unlock your accounts" Yeah like that ever works. It usually takes 48 hours before I get a responce from the via email. Do us all a favor guys, put them back in the store until you actually have a start date for freedom. Kinda jumping the gun here aren't you? Well that's my 2 cents worth, for all the good it'll do.

I have a level 50 peacebringer. He is level packed with my wifes toon. We leveled to 40 before I gave up playing him and ran another toon with my wife until she hit 50. Now that I have a PB leveled all the way up what do I do with him. Any suggestions other than deleting him? I'm not overly happy with how weak the class is compared to others.

I may be too late for this question but here goes. When is (or was) the free server transfers starting and how long are they going for?
