I am seeing some similar symptoms... 2 characters on Infinity and 1 on Virtue lost mapserver connection while zoning (one into Cim, then the other two as I tried to log in). Then I wasn't able to log in for at least ten minutes, while I tried restarting the client.
After I was able to log in, the problem was gone for about 30 minutes...and I joined a task force on Virtue with a fourth character. First two missions of the Katie Hannon TF went well...but on the third mission, mapserver connection was lost (with a long blackscreen) while entering the map. It gave me a small dialog window to "try again" but ultimately I had to restart the client. Second try, same result. The team had moved on the the fourth and final mission. Same thing happened when I tried to enter that map. Restarted yet again.
As of now, I'm getting the "game client unable to connect..." message again when I attempt to log in.

yep, that describes what is happening to me now too. I can log in for a few minutes, game freezes then I can't get back in for about an hour while I reboot everything. Then I can get back in for a little bit (10minutes) and game freeze/lock out for another hour.

I'm able to log into the game, but I get mapserved every time I try to zone. I did make it into my SG base once, then mapserved trying to get out.

Getting the same problems as well. Quite frustrating.

Earlier I was able to log in but would get kicked when zoning from an SG base. Now I can't log back into the game. I get the message: : The game client was unable to connect to the login server. This may be due to a local network issue such as a firewall block, or may be because the login server is down for maintenance. Please check your network settings and try again, or check http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/news/s...ver_status.php for current server status." I have rebooted my computer 4 times. I have run the Repair (consistancy check) and also rebooted my modem & router and still unable to log in.
