  1. So yesterday afternoon I was working on some updates for a story arc of mine in AE. I ended up purchasing the Carnival of Light mace for 80 paragon points ($1) with intentions of using it for one of my npcs to represent the ultimate 'artifact' that the player is attempting to recover. My goal was to have the npc wield it through use of an emote in AE. Unfortunately, I discovered that this particular model was never set up to display using the emotes available in AE.

    I've reported this in-game but it is likely so far down the priority list that it could very likely never get -fixed-. It's these kinds of snags that cause me to lose interest in AE and shelve it for periods of 6 to 8 months.

    Not very happy right now...

  4. They've already said that after all is said and done, Statesman will still be on the login splash and advertisements. So they are not removing every trace of Statesman... Now if in issue 23, we see Positron has replaced Statesman on the login splash, then and only then can we claim foul.

    As for Sister Psyche, another poster earlier mentioned the similarity of her death to that of a certain X-Men character. I have absolutely no doubt that Sister Psyche will return, in some form, some day.

  6. Dear Mr. Depp, please put the pirate attire back on and resume making Disney Pirates movies.. or at least leave the Captain Sparrow character on the Pirates sets.

    Watching that trailer, I can see some of Jacks mannerisms showing through that awful white makeup that Depp is apparently so fond of wearing.

    That said, as much as I want to hate this abomination, Johnny Depp+Tim Burton movies are one of my guilty pleasures.

    Let's say this hypothetical AT was being considered.. what's the possibility it could be free to tier 9 VIPs?

    Assuming that's not possible, 2000 points, 1200 for VIPs. That said, this hypothetical powerset would have to be something I would not regret unlocking later. It would also need to not be as origin restricting as the EATs.

  13. I received an Enhancement Converter this morning from one of the grey 'ranking' Banished Pantheon that spawn when you summon Adamastor.

    This was during the Talos Island Summoning Ritual.

    This isn't easily reproduced (read: I don't have hours to spend beating up grey ranking enemies) so I can't be sure if this is a very rare occurrence with the Adamastor event spawns exclusively or if grey ranking enemies are actually coded to drop Enhancement Converters. Either way, this seemed /bug worthy.

  16. I generated close to 1 billion INF over the weekend through various activities. A few note worthy activities were a Moonfire and an ITF the latter on which I earned about 70 mil. Mostly I just invaded Council Earth over and over beating the snot out of the Council Empire at +4x8.

  23. Just a small update,

    I managed to get my shiny new login screen set up this evening and everything was working fine for a while until I decided to dual box which wasn't an issue in itself but it seemed to have -triggered- a very nasty issue. As soon as I was finished with that session I closed both clients and went back to a single client a few minutes later, shortly after getting in-game my client started acting unstable. Upon trying to jump zones I would get a windows error telling me CoH had stopped responding, a few moments later it would close CoH upon me acknowledging the issue message. I tried several different things which only seemed to make the issue worsen (The game wouldn't even make it passed the "enter city" button before it would become unstable).

    Finally fed up with it, I reverted everything back the way it was and the game was once again stable.

    This is almost certainly an isolated issue, and probably something easily rectified, if anyone has any thoughts towards a way to -fix- my issue please PM me as I don't want to hijack this thread. Thanks!
