The character creation system of City of heroes is outstanding marvelous.

(Maybe we can use some of our leftover Paragon points for this :P)
And maybe we could get a version of Pocket D attached to the tailor. No Powers or so... just for a walk in an other costume.

    Edit:
P.S. I would like to have some of the music in the game too.... just for the memory

  2. A special thank you to you, Dink, for giving us hope. I'm so sorry the hard work of you and your fellow devs seems to have gone unappreciated. Please know that we love all the effort you guys have put into this fantastic game. Your artwork is superb, and as others have said, we definitely hope to see your skills again soon.

One that I knew about for a long time but forgot in previous posts: The female "Metal" top-with-skin, when used in conjunction with something that covers the torso but leaves the neck bare (in this case, the Victorian corset - various jackets and robes also work), makes a fancy necklace.

Wow. Hot. Yet another reason I wish I lived in the CoH costume creator. Thanks so much for this thread. I'm both in awe and stupid jealous that I hadn't figured some of these out (though I did know about the Excess Plus trick).
  4. I've gone through all 22 pages of this wonderful thread and I'm excited. Do I see myself using these pieces? Nope, not yet. But I will. Just like I did with the CoL and CoT, I at first felt I'd never use them, and have since grabbed both and used them on my Kali-themed toon, and female Banished Pantheon/Voodoo lady. They work wonderfully.

A side note about the mohawks, I personally am looking forward to them. While I am DEFINITELY on the bandwagon for a Hairstyles (maybe +Faces) pack (especially curly! I'm a curly-headed woman, and I want to pay homage with my toons!), I also see the utility in having multiple 'hawks. First off, the fauxhawk is only available to males/huge. Secondly, the short and tall 'hawks currently available to females are older. The upcoming Cybertech 'hawk has me super happy for the various 'alternative' toons I have. To me, IMHO, one could just as easily say "Oh, there are too many long hairstyles. Don't need to add more." Obviously, they do (and hopefully will)!

As some others have said, just because (general) you personally don't like something in the pack, doesn't mean someone else can't take it and make it fantastic. And it also doesn't mean you yourself won't in a few months realize how perfect X will go with your second costume. I never thought I'd use that stupid Jester collar. It's now the highlight of Mambo Awiti's (my voodoo chick) attire.

So I definitely look forward to playing around with this when it's released, and mixing and matching to my heart's content.

Finally. The hairstyles. DINK. I LOVE YOU.

I had asked months ago for dreads that didn't look like a Koosh-ball. When the Cybertech pack came out on the Beta server, I flipped! The dreads are gorgeous. These cornrows (while not technically the same) have even more versatility and I am just ecstatic. Others have already sung your praises, and I'll join in the chorus (soprano harmony). We can gratefully see how much you love your work, and the detail you've put into the hairstyles lately has made me all warm and fuzzy inside. The attention you and other Devs give to us in-game, forum, and G+/Facebook posts just makes me adore this game more and more. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
  5. Torn between A and E but ultimately went with E. This one was harder, though.
  6. Friggin'--I adore option B. And it's winning, so I hope that continues!
  7. I'm sure others have said this -- why can't we just have all three options, similar to how the Head Tank had different base options?
  8. I just love those flippin' rings too much to pass up.
  9. I like the typical retro-space look for C (for which I voted) -- specifically the rings around the boots and gloves. But I want them to GLOW! I love all the glowing pieces CoH has incorporated into costumes as of late, and regardless of the winning set, I think the costume should glow. It's SPACE! C'mon.

I definitely notice a unity in the game, specifically between devs and players. I'm not a MMO-maven, but of the ones I've played I see much more interaction between the two "factions" here than any other game. And as for the boards (what little I've visited, anyway), there seems to be more love here than other parts, heheh.

Also, thanks ChristopherRobin for reminding me to change my settings! Because of you guys I finally took the plunge and created a CoH-related dA account and am attempting to upload a few things to it (including my own sparse work). Thanks again all for the great advice
  11. I like your art style -- it's cartoony but I wouldn't necessarily call it amateur. I like Opening Statement's glasses ^_^

    Also, WELCOME BACK!

(Here I go, bringing up an older thread again. It's my super-power, threadrez)

Well well, don't I feel sheepish? Thank you Kheldarn, VexXxa, ChristopherRobin and LadyJudgement for the warm welcome and great info/advice! I will definitely be grabbing good shots of my fav-O-rite characters for just such occasions.

Like I said, I don't come to the forums much, and only happened upon this posting by accident. I guess I thought I'd get a message in my email saying someone had posted... too used to Minecraft >_< ANYway, thank you all again very much for the explanations and for not getting onto a newbie

    Rogue Magazine

So honored to be mentioned in the magazine! Thank you again, @Antoinette!

As always, some great tips that I can put to use in my costumes; pieces I forget exist, much less think of matching, and you put them together brilliantly My favorite section was definitely the Undercover Heroines, though! Love some of those outfits!

Looking forward to what you do with Fashion Week -- exciting!

Okay I joke but I have a scion xB that I've been tempted to do just that. Then I realize I'm an old married white guy and that would just scream of "trying too hard".
So I know that this is an older thread, but I happened upon it and enjoyed looking at Khel's various fan arts, and now I have to say that as a married, triracial chick, I'd *squee* if I saw a Scion xB arted up with CoX awesomes. I've wanted one of those vehicles for so long (the older, more square versions). Black with hot-pink interior, if you were wondering.

(Also, super sweet Nissan there, Khel!)

Also, Kheldarn, I was wondering about how you got these fun (apparently free) arts? Just by asking via dA, or on the forums here? I'm considering making a separate dA just for CoX things -- (hopefully, mostly free) art commissions but possibly some of my own.

If this is something talked about a lot on the forums, please don't get annoyed. I rarely frequent the forums unless something super serious is happening with the game, or (like today) I'm looking for specific images (got lost for awhile in the Custom Power Icon thread[s]).
