As a fellow Triumphant, I think our "little" server will only gain more players since it seems that Triumph players are a pretty weird lot and don't really travel well . Seriously, I find that we over on Triumph a pretty loyal lot to our server and once people start playing there they generally stick around. The only reason I see people moving alts off of Tri is to make room for new alts for the GR release.

City of Heroes® is proud to announce that starting today character transfers between servers (within North American OR European server lists) will become free to all players and remain that way until Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 11:59 p.m Pacific Time (2:59 a.m. Eastern Time).

Amongst other important informations to bear in mind before transferring any character:

• Transfers are not available between North American and European servers.
• You will be able to complete up to 6 transfers a week (7-day period) per account.

My Ice/Psi runs superspeed, arctic air, scorpion shield, weave, manoeuvres and assault and only has endurance problems against the thorn tree since it's somehow not in drain psyche range even when standing right up on it's roots.

Hit a single target with drain psyche and you'll barely notice that numina unique in health.

If you can afford the 360ish extra merits you could even drop hurdle/health, put in stealth/grant invis and put lotgs in those and personal forcefield hitting the 5 cap for lotg7.5s. If you then 5 slot decimation rather than enfeebled operation in chilblain for the 5th 6.25% bonus you hit 125% global recharge and have domination perma even if you forget hasten or go afk.

Instead of thinking about yourselves... Why not think about the 35 million people using sites like Facebook. They are already spending money on those Zynga games. For some, it might be cheaper and more fun to play an unheard of game like CoX.

And YES they should be having links people can post to their pages. Offering 7 days or 14 days of FREE time. No CC required.

Word of mouth only went so far. Now it is time to try new and different ways to get people to play.

For the longest I thought it odd that the people @ my local BestBuys didn't even know what CoX is/was. Well Its because word of mouth didnt do it. It didnt ultimately spread the word - enough -.

They need new ways to get the word out. So, instead of knocking this idea... Its time to start posting CHEAP ways to advertise the game. And links on POPULAR personal webbys like Facebook and Twitter, could definately get the word out there to more people.
