If you ALWAYS have to get stamina you should make your builds better. That simple. If I can get by without it, anybody can.
[/ QUOTE ]
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
And yes, that was sarcasm. Once again, what is claimed on these forums and what goes on in the actual game bear little to no resemblance to each other. If they DID, everyone I saw without Fitness in-game wouldn't 1. have 2 ticks of END left at all times and 2. be continually begging for spare blues.
Next: Forumistas claim that their Dark/dark Brutes and Scrappers NEVER need Fitness and HAVE NEVER NEEDED IT. If yours do, UR DOIN IT WRONG. Once again..... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiight, I believe that. I sure do! You bet.
p.s. to Ares: I agree that an Ice/psi Dom is an unpleasant creature indeed; mine made it to level 18 and then was deleted in a fit of rage, mid-mission. Logged off in the middle of a mission and nuked her right then and there! that was how fun she was to play. WORST EVER
[/ QUOTE ] Think what you want, but you are wrong. The OP claimed they always have to take stamina. Always. When that simply is not the case. I think stamina is great and I take it on most of my characters. You can make a highly functional build without stamina. It's been done before by many many people. So if one person can do it(without set bonuses), then anybody can.
Now if you're looking to farm at a high level or solo AVs one could make the argument it is needed(I would). But to claim it is always needed is nonsense. -

For isntance, buff up pve toons a bit, one way could be making stamina less significant.
[/ QUOTE ] PvE characters do not need to be buffed(in general). The game is easy enough already.
[/ QUOTE ]
Try soloing with a ice/psy dom...no dmg at all. takes like 5 minutes to kill minions lol. Same can be said about my troller. Not every toon can easily solo, and it is annoying that I ALWAYS have to get stamina. Also, i do not disagree that this game is easy because it is, but how does buffing pve really hurt anyone??? Will people really complain that it is now easier for them to do damage in a mission!? I think not my friend.

Doms are getting a buff in issue 15.

Yes some people will complain if the game is made easier. A lot of people like a challenge. -
So do yall think this is a viable build?
-
I'm all for this idea. More options is a good thing(usually).

I've been a healer before on my stormie that didn't take O2 Boost. I'm not exactly sure why I was the healer, that's just what hte "leader" said.
-
Looks like it worked out for both of us then. Because of your post I tried to get it cheap and it worked out. I'll make a small profit off of it.
-
Question, should I read up on this Strike Force before we do it? I generally wait and read the story my first time through, but if it's really hard then I'll go to Paragonwiki ahead of time.
-
I don't know if this thread has the info you want, but it doesn't hurt to look. I would look for you, but it's kinda long.

Maybe tieing a weapon peice to origin is a bad idea, but I was just trying to make it realistic. Seems to be a clear consensus that everyone believes it to be a bad idea, and to that i say "meh".
[/ QUOTE ] The reason I don't like it is because all of my characters have already picked their origin. It would have to come with an optional origin respec, if such a thing was even possible.
At this point in the game, I don't think anything new should be attached to origin. -
I'm changing my answer after thinking about it a little bit more(I deleted my other post).
[ QUOTE ]
Here's a question for you all to chew on- should newbies to CoH/CoV ever Powerlevel?
[/ QUOTE ]
If they want to. The game isn't hard to learn, so if they want to powerlevel 1-50 their first day in game I'm fine with that.
If a level 50 asks me where to buy single origin enhancements, I'll just answer the question instead of getting annoyed. If someone level 35 wants to know where Talos Island is, I'll just answer instead of getting on my soapbox like an [censored].
Basically, if the other person wants to powerlevel, I don't care because it doesn't affect me in any meaningful way. -
[ QUOTE ]
Once more, I'm saying it is NOTICABLE that there are more.
If there aren't more, please do tell me where they aren't, since I can look in the game itself and *see them there*.
So freaking what - my god, the OP doesn't want to try hard enough to get a team. It's easily done. I don't need to cite a [censored] source for something that any given player can *see* in the game.
[/ QUOTE ] I think people are asking you to cite a source because when people make the opposite claim they are often asked to show numbers. It's only fair. You saying there are more people playing carries equal weight to somebody making just the opposite claim. -
So how much did you post it for?
-
<QR>
I'm also a fan of using the WW transporter in certain situations. -
I just bought one for 80 million, was it yours?
-
[ QUOTE ]
I don't like that idea at all. It would be a nerf for many of my characters. I tend to play near the edge, and that involves in some situations being close to 0 end.
Endurance management has always seemed fine to me, so I don't even understand why would this be necessary.
[/ QUOTE ] I agree. People need to slot better. If somebody is new and doesn't know how, well, they will learn. -
Princes Harold: Level 50 Fire/Kin Corruptor. I haven't done any of the Villain SF yet, so I'm looking forward to this.
-
I'm going for survivability in this build above all else. Please critique and let me know what you think.

Honestly, I'm all for this as long as we can choose what information to show. You answered my concern sufficiently(IMO). So /signed.
Also, /signed for Rachel's idea too. -
Badge-Hunter does that for you I believe. I don't use it myself, so you'll have to read around in the site to figure out exactly what to do.
-
What about people that have their icons stacked because of multiple of the same buff(like fulcrum shift)?

[ QUOTE ]
Why not just change your AV's rank to minion until you are read to publish? This will give you the opportunity to test the text and such without worry of being defeated.
[/ QUOTE ] Because being unkillable sounds like more fun(at least for a few minutes). -
Vanden, more than likely(like 99% chance) it's just NCSoft being too careful over some character with that name somewhere.
