My claws/elec considers it a buff! At least that is the thinking now, we'll see once I plan it out in Mid's.

I would rather see something like that to be honest. But that sounds like the City Vault website(or whatever it was to be called) that got put on hold or canceled.

It doesn't upset me or anything. I just think it's dumb. How dumb? Well freedumb of course!
  4. Lol the term "freedumb" is typically only used by ignorant people that have no clue what they are talking about or people jealous and bitter because they think their server is "dead" when in reality it's not.

Point is, we don't need it. Most of us quite probably don't want it and a sizable number of us would never find a use for it if it was implemented.

Time could be better spent elsewhere. New content, revamping old content so it doesn't look so dated... hell they could have another go at making pvp not horribly imbalanced, and I'd get more use out of that than I would out of this despite that I never pvp ever.
The fact that we don't need it isn't really relevant. There are plenty of things that have been added of the years that we don't need.

I would find it useful and I would use it so I'm all for this idea.

I'm not saying you're wrong, because I have no idea. But is this just a guess or is there some data to back that up?

Even if it is just a guess it is a reasonable conclusion that the game still makes money, otherwise NCSoft wouldn't keep investing in it.
  7. I'll probably move a couple characters off Freedom to store them on some server like Pinnacle or Champion that I don't have a use for. That way I have room for more characters on Freedom.
  8. This makes sense, I thought Raptor Pack was pretty damn fast when I checked it on beta server.

IE, leave the buffage in AAO where it is, but raise the end cost, to, say, .42 end per second.

Then, to balance that out, lower the taunt aura down to willpower levels, or less.

    Poof! All better.
Of all the proposed changes, I like this one the least. The strong taunt aura of AAO is one of my favorite things about the set and I would be a sad munki if it were changed.

I don't think that was the OPs point. I gathered that the OP saw something cool for that game that he thought would work well here.

Then don't worry about set bonuses. Those only affect you and not your teammates when you shield them.

(Because, in order to get access to PPP's you have to get the appropriate badge, which you can only get by becoming a villain.)

Obviously some strange, new definition of "parity" that I've been previously unaware of.
Didn't you hear? The devs hate heroes.
  16. Yes, but it can still be really expensive.
  17. Which is exactly why safe harbors were put into such things as the DMCA. To make sure the proper parties are held liable for infringements.

Another probable reason is because their case had no actual merits. Section 230 safe harbors should protect NC Soft in this case(at least in the U.S.).
