  3. I love taunt auras. The only problem I have with my DM/SR scrapper is the lack of a taunt aura. If I had that, he would be perfect.

    As far as his goals, I'm not too sure, for the most part I left his power choices alone and just concentrated maximizing his stats however I could. His pets should be softcapped and he is soft capped to S/L himself.

    This is my first attempt at building a MM, so I'm expecting there to be problems. So any help would be appreciated since I would hate for him to start using a broken build. Also, he currently has the spiritual alpha boost.

    That's how I feel about these demands for soloable rewards. Because the devs have made an honest effort to give players soloable options for most (but not all) rewards in the past, there is this sense of entitlement that has built up, a misguided notion that the devs must always provide soloable alternatives to obtain rewards, that the design and implementation is "broken" if they don't.
    I cut out a lot, so I can concentrate on what I think is most important. The thing is, outside of some specific badges, I can't think of any reward in this game that requires teaming. Sure teaming makes getting rewards faster, but you can still get them without ever joining a team. So any non badge reward that requires a team is completely new.

    So the expectation has been set by developers that every non badge reward can be had by solo play. So the people complaining(for the most part) are being perfectly reasonable in their expectation that incarnate slots should be completely soloable. Well they are being reasonable if you go by the games recent history(since I9 when HOs could be bought at the auction house).

    That being said, I get your overall idea, and I feel you have a point about some people being unreasonable. I agree. But when doing business, unreasonable customers are just as important as the calm and reasonable customers. It may suck, it may not be fair, but it is reality.

    edit: FWIW, given the recent history of the game, I am fully confident that there will be solo options at some point in the future, my guess is sooner rather than later. Simply because not giving those options would deviate from the current general perception of the game. And I feel that would be extremely bad.

    Customers have no obligation to be rational and patient. They can be wrong, but they are still the customer.

    FWIW, I'm fine with what we have now in game, I just don't like the lack of meaningful communication. But the people that are pissed/annoyed/irritated are just gonna continue to be pissed/annoyed/irritated until they here something definitive.

  11. I encourage the people that want to solo their way through incarnate stuff to be patient. I agree that Paragon Studio's silence is irritating. But, in recent years they have a strong history of giving solo players options*. So even if they don't state it explicitly, I fully expect that to continue. If that trend is reversed with incarnate content, people will be reasonably pissed.

    *With the exception of allowing people to start solo task forces.

    Not a bad idea at all. I had completely forgotten about that attack chain. I can run it when hasten is up no problem. Hasten will have about a 20 second downtime though. I can put in fillers during that time though. GFS won't be fully slotted(only four kinetic combats), but if I'm only using it during hasten's downtime I don't think that will be a problem.

    Here is my revised build. Just moved a few slots around to improve Fire Sword since it will be in my primary attack chain. Also added in all the HP and End accolades since I already have them(not sure how I missed that previously).

    Thanks! It made me chuckle a little bit, glad I could share.

    I think the biggest issue we will have with low level WST is people suddenly realizing how broken their respec builds are when they exemplar.

    I can see it now, a team of all 50s do the Sister TF and nobody has a travel power of any kind(including ninja run) and most people have two attacks. I hope I get on one like that, just for the lulz.

    DM/SR help

    I looked at it again and found a small mistake I made. When softcapping it last time, I didn't account for Combat Jumping running all the time, so the build has more defense than it needs.

    This one will keep you at softcap and improve your endurance usage.

    As far as the accolades go, I think those are important. They will make a difference. If you're talking about getting through the AVs for the accolade, I suggest popping a bunch of inspirations and taking them on as EBs just to get it out of the way.

    If you're wanting to pimp him out a bit more than I have a build for that too(the one I'm planning), and I have no problem sharing. But it uses the PvP IO and purple sets, so it is rather expensive.
  20. Plugging in exactly 30% recharge for GFS, I'm 1.41% away from that chain when hasten is up. This is if I use Mako triple and dam/rech. But that means an additional .758 endurance each time I use GFS.

    Which if I'm doing this correct, is almost 0.2 end/sec more. So I'm not sure if that is worth it, or even if my endurance can sustain it. If I use the triple and quad, then I'm a little over 10% away on recharge.

    So I think I may just have to accept a different attack chain. Cremate-Scorch-Incinerate-Scorch appears to be the only viable possibility without giving up defense and/or regen somewhere.

    Though if I go with the lesser attack chain then maybe I can afford to run assault all the time.

    Not sure what attack chain I'm going to use yet. I need to consider my options.
  21. Holy **** Iggy, that is fantastic! It appears that top attack chain isn't really in the cards unless I'm willing to give up a little bit of survivability, which I'm not. I really really like these changes.
