The other thing that someone brought up somewhere, and that I've confirmed as being odd from the combat logs, is that these DE Devoureds tend to have much greater chance to hit than they should. something on the order of 75% or so, which is EB/AV territory. I'm wondering if they maybe were supposed to be EBs initially, then got scaled back, but not quite all the way to normal Boss.
  2. Even without the drug buyer/purse snatcher run script, Slammers (up to and including Freakshow Tank Slammer Bosses) are very likely to run, and always have been. If I were to guess, it's baked into their AI. I never ever put my Rad toggles on a sledgehammer-wielding mob because of this.

Statesman's Pal does indeed award in the final mission of the new arc, after you beat the Olympian Guard.
  4. I finally got Going Rogue for my live account yesterday and I can confirm the same 41 zone limit on cleared fog of war on my main. When I got to the 42nd zone, St. Martial for me, Reveal, zoning or logging out and back in would reset the fog for the zone.

Neuron appears in both revamped arcs, just like he appeared in both original arcs.
  6. It took maybe 2 hours for a Tanker and Defender to duo part 2, probably 1/4 of that being the final fight, but that's an extreme situation of 2 lower-damage ATs against an AV. For a full team, this will fly by.

Beware that we ran into a looping mission bug early on in the second half, and had to reform.

Anti-Matter doesn't appear in either the old or the new Maria Jenkins story arc, so my first guess is that it's him. He can be found in either the old or the new Tina Macintyre arc, The Praetorian War or The Instant Army in Ouroboros level 40-45 tier. In both of those arcs, he appears twice. The first time, he will teleport out at maybe 1/2 health and not count, the second time, he will stay the whole way through and will count.

Batman and Nightwing stories tend to switch between 10 and 15 years even though they are talking from the same point in time (a few years into Tim's Robiness) and are referring to roughly the same time period (Since Batman became Batman and since Dick lost his parents.)

If we're going to go off of dates like that then Dick lost his parents and became Robin 5 years before Bruce became Batman and we know that isn't right.

Even Conservatively you have to deny the idea that Tim is 17.

Tim became Robin at age 13 or 14 and was a freshman in Highschool
KnightSaga took place over the course of a year
    NML lasted for a year
Bruce, Dick, Tim were gone for a year.

That would place Tim as a minimum of 16 or 17 after OYL

Not only that Tim does bad in school (even had been threatened with being held back i believe) due to being Robin and transferring so much and Tim graduated from HS some time ago which would mean that he had to have been no younger than 17 long before the story was written...

Further, no matter how you slice it, the holding of Wayne Tech and such could NEVER be taken over ny him if he was just 17. All of his inheritance would be under Dick's or Alfred's command and he would never be allowed to be the face of the corporation.

No matter how you slice it the Timeline cannot work with less than the following

    Y0
    +2 Batman working alone -
    +6 Robin I years
    +2 Robin II years
    +1 Batman working alone years
+2 Robin III in action before Batman II. (NY min license req. age 16)
    +1 KS
    +1 NML
    +1 OYL

So at minimum there is 16 years since Batman's debut, 14 since Dicks, and 5 since Tim's which places them at minimum of 42ish, 24ish, and 19ish.

However if we take Nightwing's 15 years ago which he uses a lot around NML that bumps the timeline up a bit to make those minimums go up a year or two. Strangely... this all matches.

The reason for Batman's 10ya and various editors getting it wrong is cuz the official stance keeps on changing and they keep on trying to compress time which makes less and less sense. Dick and Tim are bad at school. It is impossible for them to graduate "on time" not before or after, which they do, and skipping classes like the compressed timelines suggest they do.

Let's not even bring in how much more ludicrous Tim doing that while transferring between schools and schools closing down and travelling around the world for a year.
You can pick and choose what to believe is true all you want. Dick's time with Batman is more like 5 years, to start. I can't find a concrete date on Jason's time as Robin, but to assume that there was full year between him and Tim is to assume that, for those 15 issues, DC time was moving in real time, which just doesn't happen. Tim was stated to have a special case license by the writers at the time of the Knight saga, due to his father's incapacitation at the time.

Bottom line is that editorial fiat will keep compressing things down to keep Batman's age believable for him being that active. Your timeline becomes void whenever a writer decides to change a few of the facts, and be ready for that to happen again and again, making your timeline an even worse fit as time goes by. They're never going to move to a real time timeline, they'll just keep compressing.

This is why their timeline is actually based on a specified point in-universe time and is largely measured in what i call Robin Time...

Superman (age 23) debuts in year 0 or RT -2
Batman (age 26) debuts in year 1 or RT -1
Robin I debuts in year 3 or RT 1
Robin I leaves Batman in year 9 or RT 7
Robin II debuts in year 10 or RT 8
Robin II dies in year 12 or RT 10
Robin III debuts in year 13 or RT 11
Robin III adopts new costume in I believe in year 20 or RT 18.
Robin IV debuts, Dick becomes Batman, and Tim becomes Red Robin in year 22 or RT 20

there is just about no other character you can tell time by in DCU other than by Robin

edit: Also RT18 was in 2006 our time, but in DCU time it happened in 2008 ^.^ This is all it means to have a sliding timeline.
This timeline is flawed. Tim was 6 when Dick's parents were killed. That would make him 25-26 now, by this timeline. No writer writes him as that old, and current Red Robin writer Fabian Nicieza is on record last month stating that Tim is 17. There are so many contradictory stories about how long ago in in-universe time certain events happened that you just can't make a definitive timeline.
  10. The Alpha Incarnate Slot was tested during Going Rogue Beta, but was pulled, mostly because there was no Incarnate content to use the new power on. It is supposed to be back closer to Issue 19.

The Cathedral of Pain has indeed been successfully run, and there seem to be more planned all the time here on the forums.

For the "Pics or it didn't happen" crowd:

Man, do I get that Plasmatic Taser a lot.

I can say that I've personally gotten 2 purple recipe drops on my character that I was levelling-up through the upper 40s in the past week or so. This is not a farming character, they were just regular drops from defeating mobs in mission after mission.
  12. For my main, a witch from a long line of witches, I like Spellbinding.
  13. I think I ran into some of your team while hunting Fake Nems in FBZ last night. It was rather shocking to see anyone else out there, so I AMed the ones that were close by. Congratulations on your achievement.
  14. This is the shortest of the filler arcs in Bleach history at 22 episodes. At the very least, this won't drag on as long as the Bounts did.
  15. It is an intentional change to all of the 120 second duration IOs in toggles. Castle told us in Beta that this was the intended behavior for them, but it didn't make it into the final cumulative patch notes for Issue 18.

Bades like this should be like accolades. A badge for the Hellions Arsonists and one for the Fires. In the case for Vandal, each item should be it's own.
The second Firefighting badge (and probably the third one) now has two tracking bars, one for Hellions and one for fires. You'll probably have to click over to Defeats to see them, since the Hellions tend to rack up a lot faster than the fires.

So, far, I cannot find any "badge numbers" differences between a side swapping Villain and a side swaping Hero except the 1st Anniversary and the 5th Column Gladiator being Hero Only (thanks to Villains not existing at that time). There is also a set of three "exclusive" badges in the three sets of Respec Trial badges (if you have the first one you cannot get either of the other two first ones and so on) AND another VIllain Side Set of 4 "Can Only Get One Of These" Exclusives, but a side Swapped Hero can get one of the four just like a Villain, so neither of those would lead to a numbers descrepency between heroes and villains.
It's because there isn't one. The "discrepancy" referred to above has to do with what Badge-Hunter can track, not with what a player can earn. I believe that that was the point that Beef Cake was trying to clarify in the post before yours.
  18. It's actually largely untouched in the new arc. The only difference is that you now get Statesman following you around in it.
  19. I'd also say that Demonic is easier to get than Archmage, mainly because of the BP masks.
  20. I made a thread about this during Beta. It was happening to me there. The database space for cleared fog of war needs to be increased again, or just do away with the fog altogether. I'm fine with either, really.
  21. Since it's a badge mission, it wouldn't even matter who was the leader. If it wasn't in Ouroboros, it would give no merits to anyone on the team.

Cool. I had honestly forgotten which of the contacts had the other missions with Failed Experiments. I just knew that when I did every storyline in Neutropolis, I got the badge with a lot of them to spare. I was running past them as much as possible in the later ones.
  23. Both. He is dead, and thus doesn't appear in any missions in these arcs.

So it now means I got all the AV's to take down again. Goes to find the "Suck it up " straw.
Ouch, that stinks. Hopefully, that's a one-time occurrence and you get the badge fairly easily now.

Currently, Resistance do appear in Maria's A Hero's Epic arc, but they don't count for the badge. When and if that does get fixed, that will be the place to go for them, specifically the Nightstar mission early in the arc.

This is true. I've also found that you can get the Vigilante one, Walks the Line, on a Hero. I'd imagine that you can get Cunning on a Villain, as well.

It's really for getting all the way to wall at the edge of the zone. I did it in Nova, using AM and hammering on Radiant Aura all the way so that I could heal during the gaps in the suppression field. I've heard that there are better and worse spots to try, so it might be a case of trial and error.
