I have the "old" one still in my mish list and it's running fine. 
Haven't seen the "new" one yet.
I believe you can still find the old one in Orob if you didn't have it before.
I hadn't realized they changed it. What did they change about it?

It's actually largely untouched in the new arc. The only difference is that you now get Statesman following you around in it.
