I forgot today was Saturday. When the kids are out of school, and the adults aren't going to work, it's hard to keep track of time. I hope everyone had fun, and feel free to have a laugh at my expense - I already did.

Hmm, 25-30 means powers up to 35, so I could mal down without losing lightning rod and shield charge. I'm not sure I can fit in an SF between karate and soccer, and the weather is supposed to be good for a change, so better list me (Baroness Blitz, 50 elec/shield brute) as an alt.

Goob - I owe you bigtime for letting me have your spot. Two Obliterations and an Armageddon. Someone else (Darkbridger?) got an Obliteration as well, so the team had half the set. Next week, I'll give up MY spot so YOU can play.

I suppose that "getting upset seems odd" depends how many times you've logged in and promptly died from invading Rikti or zombies. Or how many times you've been running a Numina TF and had to wait out an invasion to finish the hunt missions (or just a regular "defeat whatever in Zone wherever" mission).

Personally, I like the invasions, but I can understand why some people get upset by them.

If something hits you with a ranged fire AoE attack, for example, the game checks your ranged defense, fire defense, and AoE defense, and applies the highest one.

I have trouble finding the balance between "don't kill-steal" and "I have a right to work on my badges too" with the Troll Raves in Skyway. If see another high-level toon there, I don't worry about it much, since neither of us are getting xp, drops, or anything but kill-count. But for lower-level toons, especially teams, I feel guilty wiping out large numbers of the trolls with one blow. On the other hand, it's not fair for me to have to give up the opportunity to work on my badge just because someone else is there too. I mostly try to stay on the far side of the action, avoiding spawns that seem like someone else is also targeting.

As for buffs, since some people like them and some don't, and the fact that most of my toons don't have them (I play mostly melee types), I just hand out insps, especially greens and purples.

Looks like fun this week, but I'm probably going to miss it. Cute title, too.

Also if the accounts aren't the same age, you'd lose the vet rewards moving to a new account. Ditto all the goodies redeemed from serial codes, etc.

Both "Shock Troopers" and "The Quick & The Dead" are on Virtue (villainside, in case it wasn't obvious from the AT listings).
