Currently the color of the jets cannot be changed.
The colour of the boot determines the effect 'splash' on Piston boots, which is probably where the confusion came from.
As well, there is a bug since I16: on my huge character the jets of my Rocket Boots are "inside" the boot now, with only the faint trails coming out the bottom.

That sounds fun to see, but rotten to be stuck with. My first thought was to try changing boots, and then back to these. My second thought was "I guess they don't make rocket boots in your size." |

Well, this is TopDoc we're talking about. TopDoc would respec to gain 3 points of damage per day. - Arcanaville
Is it possible to change the color of that the rocket boots fire? I thought it was determined by the secondary color of the boots but no matter what I do, the fire still has the same bluish-white color.
I recently changed my costume and now the boots are bugging me. Somebody please let me know one way or the other so I can stop obssessing!
