44 months, 25 days, and 1 hour later and my original main Trace has finally hit 50! This is my first 50 EVER and it feels amazing! I can't believe I've been around this long and haven't made the the journey, but i'm finally here and I can't wait to make it again!

I want to thank all those that helped me get here. Takara and Adamas, Squid Named Wanda, and Deadheat; you guys all rock my world! Everyone who teamed up with me this weekend and helped plow through all those mobs, thanks SO MUCH!

You each get 15 days of free time. Which to me doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Doesn't that essentially mean that I'll end up paying 14.99 for half a month down the road??

Why not just give us each a free month? Or give the person who refers the other a free month and leave it at that?

I for one am excited by the idea that this merger of sorts will open several doors for the Co* franchise! The bonuses being given to current players is also a major plus and I thank you!

How long should we expect to wait for some of the "sekrit" plans that are going to come from this purchase to get announced?

I know you said that we would start seeing big effects in around 6 months, but as far as announcing what NCSofts plans are, how long are we going to be waiting to hear any further details?

Put me in the "alternate timeline" group, cause that's the only logical explanation I can think of. However, the nemesis autos is also an option, but wouldn't explain the lack of villain escapes. The game isn't dying, or closing down, or going away. Statesman and Positron have assured us that CoX is doing fine financially and last quater's numbers proved that.

Drats! Looks like I got overly excited about nothing. It's so weird that Lighthouse went out of his way to announce an update so late in the day, for it to just be the Eden Trial rewards and game stability. They don't announce patch updates to live servers ahead of time like that normally, do they?

Oh well...maybe next week...

As things stand now, the game is getting an update tomorrow morning (Aug 30th) and the maintenance is expected to last up to 3 hours. This is a slightly larger window than normal maintenance, and so I'm betting money on a very quick push of the Character Transfer and Rename tomorrow. Lighthouse said that the name purge will occur once the Transfers are rolled out. So if we all keep our fingers crossed, we'll have both by tomorrow afternoon!!

They just made an announcement about an Update going live tomorrow morning during maintenance. Looks like they are pushing this puppy out tomorrow and the name purge with it!

All we can do now is hope that the Transfer/Rename system goes out sometime next week. Everyone test it if you can and make sure we get all the bugs out, so we get it up faster. I want my names!!!

Usually by this time, they've done maintenance and everyone's back to kicking hero/villain butt. What's the big hold up?

Actually it already exists. Been in the game since CoV came out. Walk to the edge of a seat, or railing, and type in "/em ledgesit" and you will sit with your legs dangling over the edge. To make things even sweeter, there are two seperate emotes for the same code. One has arms in lap, and the other has the arms braced on the ledge. Very cool stuff!
