    That is very odd.

We have two GS one in Shreveport, one in Bossier... and both clerks I spoke with did THE SAME THING...

Edit: I'm not getting out anymore its simply too hot.
  2. If DCUO thinks they are going to steamroll CoX they have another thing coming...

  3. I reported this yesterday. the dimensional shift CC is buggy, seems with fiery aura toggles <tested one at a time> disable the animation.

As much as I hate to admit it. This is true.

I want those pieces, but not if everybody in the game is going to be running around looking like they are related to me.

next thing you know everyone will be "oh look... there's that costume piece...again..."
  5. One thing that already killed DCUO for me:

    SON-Y?

    its in their name

    "Son....why? just...why?"
  6. My GS carries no ads for any MMO. I'm starting to think that maybe trying to advertise an MMO in a store that is geared for consoles wasn't such a good idea...

or am I too soon in forming an opinion?

  8. I'm buying this booster pack asap.

I think it needs everything everyone else wants, tails, etc...

for me, its got all I would use, so I am good to go.

edit: another reason to buy the pack... supporting the life of the game.

not to get off subject too bad, but here is one very bright Idear...

Base Building Booster pack which includes:

an offline standalone base editor that allows for creation, with save/upload features.

new base editing tools <think Z axis, cut/paste multi select save/load obj, undo button>

A new power that allows access to "sg storage devices"

    I would buy it.

now off to test new shiny.
  10. When the time is right , and I am watching it closely...

I am going to give Impish Kat a catnip cooler

and then throw said Kat at the devs...

    my advice to everyone here...

    wait...

    then watch the sparks fly!

I'm not trying to defend them by any means, so don't go hating on me.

I think you are giving our tiny little dev team entirely too much credit for this.

There are other departments that carry more weight to blame for other failures and communication breakdown that make this look like small fries. <because this IS small fries>

My point: Lets not start pointing fingers. Let's just move forward and make the best of it.

btw- our code monkeys need a raise.

um.. can I come over and play city at your house?

    My whatever is still broked.

Edit: nm, restarted client a few times it seems to be working now.
  13. is glad I never bought the magic DE-buff pack
  14. Thought so.

Strange I never saw any type of countdown remaining on emails.

A few days ago I took the liberty to create additional "storage sg's" just in case something like this were to occur.

    Good instincts I guess.

    -np
When I beta'd i13 one thing we were allowed to do was place decorations in doorways.

One problem I found was you could also delete said doorway and items would remain behind a wall <talk about secure storage>

Another problem I soon found was any item that was suposed to fit in a certain room could be relocated to -any- room <think tp's in a medbay>

the bad thing about that is the entrance to your base could easily get misplaced far outside of the constructions zone.

imagine all your sg members zoning in to your base...

    then falling forever...
  16. eating habits, food quality, sleep quality, exercise schedule.

    listening eh?

    hope so.

I want a certain someone to live longer.

" means to most people that there aren't any incentives to preordering, and that people will feel tricked by that when it gets changed, well, then that's a pretty deliberate act of ignorance so you can rant semi coherently at people.

Honestly it's too hard to sort out your rage issues from your hyperbolic and ridiculous discussion ummm lets call them methods. The tone from your writing is nearly frothing at the mouth with the all caps and the **** & all the rest. I think you need to get over (for gods sake!) that people can have a different viewpoint to you without all the masked profanity and trying to make them out to be parnoid crazies seeing nemenis plots.

I'm out of this thread as I'm sure you are just going to scream the same stuff again.
For a minute there I felt like I was the one she was mad at.

    I feel scolded :3
  18. Aside from this oddball enhancement thingy, <not really that big of a deal IMHO>

Lets not forget what this is bringing...

something players have been curious about....

    Think advertising...

The "gentle push" worked like a charm. All it took was a polite approach...

    for my next trick...

People do like attention. I can understand why. I've also learned that's the only way some people know how to communicate.

Don't chastise them for that. <be the bigger man>

Keeping them talking is keeping them paying.

Would I be completely evil if I said... everything is an opportunity?

    Case in point:

Paying customer voicing a legitimate concern.

    Identified as valuable customer feedback.

    Requires action.

    -Or- Maybe "he" did...

    A bit of gentle insight...

People crying doom and whining = Paying customers voicing their opinions and concerns.

Or as the business savvy would call it.... Valuable customer feedback. This form of customer communication is typical and shouldn't by any means require a negative response from the business owners... unless of course said provider of services plans on not STAYING in business... Which is why there are things such as public representatives to take the heat instead of developers and engineers...<the types that have NO PEOPLE SKILLS> Also see "Kid gloves"

If I ever got on any type of forum and described any of -MY- customers as people "whining and crying" when they had a legitimate concern for the product they purchase- I wouldn't be able to stay home and play video games all day

I'm glad I don't insult my customers. Even when they are belligerent. It only means they either don't understand something or there is a problem with the actual product itself.

99% of the time they simply don't understand something. Providing a service to rude and obnoxious people while being polite, patient and understanding: That's what customer service is.

Did I mention I own my own business?

Might as well play for one more month then allow my subscription to run out.

Did I mention, and I'm surprised no one mentioned this, that the temporary activation of a power included in the newbie enhancement can be seen as a precursor to the Incarnate System? Tell me, if the level cap is still going to be 50, how else would they go about it? Enhancement system. Looks like we're going to get a new power slot for each level and corresponding I.O.'s with a chance of incarnate power activation upon a successful strike of an attack. The release of this information pretty much confirms it in my book. Mark my words here people, logically it's the only way the Incarnate System is going to work within the confines of what the developers have already stated. Paragon Studios, stop giving us the run-around and concede to the fact that we guessed right on the Incarnate System!

I want to add that it's a cheap way to go about the system too. We're looking at a possibly corny type of secondary effect or power. I think we're going to be disappointed here unless the powers are awe inspiring in visuals and effect. You know my first inclination would be a transformation effect into a god or demon-like being a la Onimusha, if I were at the helm of the Incarnate System. But that's just me. At the least I expect it to rain hellfire when I hit that incarnate power.

One more afterthought. The new enhancements should sure as hell better not make current invention enhancements obsolete or have the new ones be a vast improvement over the current ones. There are going to be a lot of pissed off people if that is the case. It would just be so much time wasted on our current characters.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed here hoping that Going Rogue will deliver the goods.
I would much prefer them to do away with the caps. -or- ED...
