Hey guys. I have been working on a few other toons and not been able to get back to this thread for a while. Again I appreciate all the help. Here is what I think would be a nice final build. Again, please tear it apart if I have slipped up and missed something. I tried to take all I have learned and apply it. (edited: Grr. I forgot to inclue a few slots for Stamina) If you guys can find 2 slots for me from this build for Stamina that would be great!)

RolePlay?: While not necessary, as a Jedi themed SG many aspects will lean towards RPing.
Membership levels: 1-50(We prefer new toons. This will allow the players to take advantage of our incentive programs)
Normal time of Gameplay: All current members live in Eastern Time Zone. We play mostly evenings, weekends, and 3rd shift.
Other information: The Jedi Counsel on Coruscant dispatched Sirken and Green Judge to planet earth to find other Force sensitives and recruit them in the battle against the Dark Side. All members start out as Younglings and will be chosen by a Master as their Padawan Learner. As the Master, they will guide the young Padawan in the ways of the Force and help them navigate Paragon City. We team often and will be running weekly Task Forces. PvP events might be scheduled as we gain members.
Recruiting?: Yes. We are looking for new Force sensitives to join our fight. As Masters of the Force, we know that it manifests itself in many ways. There will be no restrictions on Power or AT selection. You can contact @Sirken or @X43 in game for a SG invite. -
I was able to enjoy a CC this evening. Led by Astraphobia, it was a lot of fun! As toons began to gather under Atlas, many were striking poses and showing off their various powers. I must say, I am quite impressed with the imagination of many of you out there. The color choices you use on your powers are mind blowing sometimes. I solidified my place in line by firing off Earthquake and my pungent gases. MUAHAH Of course I let them expire before we got started.
The Costume Contest got started with a little greeting from Astraphobia and some warm replies from the contestants. Around 15-20 people showed up. Astraphobia gave everyone a once over before announcing he was giving everyone 1 million prestige just for showing up. Not bad for my newly created toon. (yea he was PLed. so sad)
Then the Judging began! It was quite a contest. The results are as follows:

The good professor won a grand total of 25 million INF!!!
2nd Place: Sarias
3rd Place: Kinimp3
All in all it was fun just to partake of one of these again. Though I did't win(not for a lack of trying mind you. I danced like a chicken for 5 minutes straight. OY! OH well.) I had a blast. I hope this encourages all of you to get out there and start your own CCs. You dont need to give out billions of INF. Just a few million is all you really need. -
Thanks for that info on the proc vs a numina heal. Other than that, how does the build shape up? Anything else I can do to maximize its potential? Obviously I have a little bit of time before Issue 19 pops out. I want to make this build the best I possibly can. Thanks guys for all your help.

OK. This is what I came up with based on your suggestions guys. Anyone know how I could calculate what my final Recovery would be when stamina gets added? I plan on rearranging the order of the slotting a bit just to maximize them for exemping a bit. I plan on putting the 3 procs in health and Performance Shifter 4 peices in Stamina.

Ahh it would appear that I forgot to save slots for Health and Stamina. However, I am kinda wondering if it will be all that necessary. With 182%(3.49/s) Recovery, wouldn't an unslotted Stamina be sufficient? If not thats fine and I will work on a new build. Theoretically I could take the two damage IOs from blind and 1 recharge from Mutation(difference of 5 seconds.) That gives 2 slots in Health and 3 slots in Stamina. That would mean rearranging the order of slotting a bit though. However, I really like the build you came up with there Local.

Hows this build check out folks? I took my utility powers early on to keep their benefits(KB protection--which I find myself getting KBed ALOT even with PA and Phanty up) no matter what content I am running. I got all my Rad debuffs in the 20s. I dropped the leadership powers. I dropped 2 LotGs and kept perma PA. I grabbed the Fire Epic for a different damage type and the nice AoE damage in Fireball. Is this any better? What would you change? Thanks again.

My mother was amazing. Always huddled near the entrance of our little burrow, she stood ever vigilant against any form of attack. As the smallest of our litter, I was especially grateful for this. Mother always told me how much she loved me. While my brother went off to learn how to hunt and fight, I was forced to stay deep underground with Sister. But at the end of the day, Mother would always come home and make sure I got the juiciest morsel. My brothers were never happy about that.
"Why does he always get the best part? He doesn't go out. He is not the one risking anything for the kill!"
"Shh Son. As the big brother, you will need to take care of him. He is much smaller than you. When I am gone, the responsibility will be on you."
She never knew I was listening from just inside my little nook of the burrow. It hurt so much.
As they were arguing for what seemed like the latest occasion in a long running nightly ritual, something new caught my attention. The walls of my little nook started to shake and crumble just the slightest bit. Could Mother and Brother hear this? From the sound of it, they could not. They were above ground, outside the protection of the burrow. The rumbling and the shaking got louder. My walls started to collapse! I ran to Sister's nook and held her.
"MOTHER!"
"Little Son!" CRASH! RUMBLE! BOOM!
The entrance to our burrow caved in on itself. Sister and I were plunged into darkness. After what seemed like forever, a feint green glow lit our protective hole. It got brighter and brighter. I felt something changing. I was only a pup but I knew Mother and Brother were dead. In a rage, I blasted the entrance of our burrow with an icy breath. Daylight! I led Sister out. Together we searched through what left of our home. You call it Faultline now. I call it the place where I started my journey to get justice for my family, the place where I started my life as a hero. I would never be the Runt again. After all, I had to protect my little sister. -
As I was running through mission after mission the other day, just grinding out XP for my latest toon, I got to thinking. Whatever happened to all the Costume Contests we use to have. When I first started playing CoH there was a CC almost every night. Surely we never went more than a few days without someone holding one. Whether it be a SG hosting one as a recruiting tactic, a player hosting one as a sort of anniversary celebration, or just someone sharing the fruits of a good market day, it was always a blast. This was a time when I met many of the people went on to team with. Though not everyone was able to be a winner, we all felt like part of a tight community. You would see many of the same toons coming out to participate. I know it drove me to be more creative and give more than the usual thought to character bios. Every one of my toons had elaborate backgrounds. With the seeming demise of CCs, sadly many of my toons have none of that.(Of course thats my fault, though it would be nice to know that much of my work would be appreciated as would each of yours.) I remember one time, I won 25 million INF just for dancing like a chicken. Was it my most glorious shining moment? No, and if I ever run for office I will be forced to say "I was young and needed the INF." But what a moment. My RL buddies and I laughed about that for a week. I am willing to bet that many of you have fond memories of a CC from days gone by. Please share them here. And if you really miss CCs, please use this thread to organize one. I will definately be there with a shiny new Costume and a deep, rich character Bio.

Disclaimer: This toon is designed to be a TF/team player. Soloing will be a far second concern. This is also a level 50 respec build. This is evident in the choice to skip deceive in favor of World of Confusion.(btw if this is a bad idea please let me know) This is an Issue 19 build. What do you all think?

Let me know if you get as big a kick out this as I did. I have had symptoms for about 2 weeks now. This is my 3rd time in the ER in a week. Yesterday I was in and the Dr said there was no need to do any tests or anything since it was just a headache. No less than 18 hours later I was being hospitalized for viral meningitis. Hilarious right? I thought so. HAHAHAHAH Tear! SOB!. sigh Anyways, I will be in here for several days til they are sure they have killed all the nasty germies. Someone please take down Rularuu for me. I owe him one.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly with all your comments. I am currently typing this from a hospital bed. Just found out I have meningitis(sp?). They did a spinal tap and everything. OUCH!!! lol ok it wasnt that bad. I would say a blow from LR hurt worse. Anyways, I felt I should clarify my original post for yall. I am set on these power sets. I noticed that I can softcap all 3 positions with JUST generic IOs w/o divine avalanche. That really led me to think I could focus on othe aspects. Ninja Blade seems to have a fairly decent recharge rates. I wondered if I should just focus on more HP, accuracy, etc? Or am I off the mark entirely. When I say Min/maxing, I do not necessarily mean being able to solo Hamidon or anything but what can I do to max this particular toon? -
I have been looking for a reason to play a stalker for a while. I really like the concept. I have rolled several up over the last year and always delete them before level 15. This is is no way a slight to the AT. Its just me. Well I finally rolled one up not based on something I read of the forums, saw someone do something really awesome ingame, or been told to roll by others. I created this toon because it fits a character idea I love! I rolled up a Ninja Blade/Super Reflexes Khajiit Warrior. When I played through Morrowind, this was my favorite race to play. With inherent invisibility and its natural grace, it made the perfect concept for a stalker.
Now, what I want from you all. I have not been able to find much of anything written on the power combo. Have I gotten into a toon that will please my min/maxer side while deeply satisfying my desire to have a toon I connect with? What have you been able to do with this power combo? -
So I found myself laying in a hospital bed last night around 10pm. What led up to this point was a massive migraine coupled with a pretty nasty "seizure"(though now I know that they are not in fact seizures but something called dystonic movements.) They ran a CT on me to make sure the blow to my head had not produced any internal bleeding. It had not. Ended up giving me an Adavan(Spelling?) That was at 10:30pm. I did not wake up till 1:30 pm today. Well unless you count the short period of time around 4:00 this morning where my wife says I woke up complaining that someone had trapped me in a bubble and was making me drink water out of a hamster bottle. Hmm. Wierd night. So anyways, I have to have a follow up with internal medicine tomorrow. We will see what the treatment plan is. Though if past experience is any indication, I am gonna be drugged out of my gourd for the next few months. That means lots of sleeping and a general sense of being a zombie. Hopefully I will be able to get online from time to time but its not looking good. Please enjoy the game, and even more so enjoy the Real World.

I am very glad your little girl does not have strep throat! Hopefully she gets to feeling better soon. I recommend a trip through the sewers in AP for her. I am sure the sludge there has SOME healing effects. Heh. Roll her up a baby Rad Defender and let her go max her powers in the green goo!

Sorry I missed Defender Monday this week. I was really hoping to make it. However, I ended up having a seriously nasty seizure which resulted in me hitting my head on a slab of concrete(repeatedly). I am pretty sure I have a concussion. I have not been able to stand or walk around for any length of time for a few days. So I have been laid up in bed. So anyways, sorry that I missed this week's run.
PS. Would everyone please send me an ingame tell or a PM here what they think could be done to make it easier for everyone to make it to each run. I am hoping we do not have to disband the team. I am willing to work out a different day, time, or whatever. Let me know what each of you need to make it work. -
My main is Elemental Spark(Guardian). As a Fire/elec blaster, recharge is gonna be your bread and butter. Fire Breath should be taken WAY sooner. A typical attack chain would be Aim+BU-Fire Breath-Fire Ball-Blaze-Fire Blast. That will clear most mobs. Of course you can cycle your ST attacks as needed. I recommend more recharge globally and on the individual powers, especially on Fire breath and Fire Ball. I have been able to cap S/L defense and that makes Sparky able to survive most content in the game. Things are falling to fast to really get much damage in. I will enclose my current build to give you some fresh eyes on the build. Its not meant to say its the best build, just a different build to get the creative juices flowing.

Just a disclaimer here: I have not read every single reply so if I am repeating someone, I apologize.
I have been reading over a lot of the comments however and I find the back and forth over fitness being inherent interesting. In making builds, I find that even with stamina, end recovery is ALWAYS still an issue. If I am understanding correctly, Stamina is not getting any sort of buff. This means it will be operating the same as now. We just get it sooner. This means that we will not have to deal with the END crunch pre level 20. As a bonus, perhaps there will be fewer people begging to be PLed all the time. Perhaps those players will then learn how to play the game earlier. Perhaps we will see a decline in untrained level 50s. All good things. Not to mention, the toons I didn't PL through level 1-20 are the only toons that dont get deleted. I grow to love them. They become friends(as much as pixels on a screen can become friends) PLed toons become tools in my belt. Played toons become something else.
Also, with 3 new power slots to play, I would imagine that people are gonna be picking up A.) more attacks, B.) more toggles, C.) click utility powers. This means that balancing these 3 new powers end consumption with any already tight build will be a bit more challenging. Even more so if we are not to get more enhancement slots.
I do not find that this will make the game any easier or harder(well, maybe harder if you consider having to find new imaginative ways to balance your new builds). I can only imagine it making the game more enjoyable. -
Thanks for that reminder. I realize that I started the team an hour early last week. That was entirely my fault. I got my time mixed up. The correct time is in fact 2pm EST.
However, due to the fact that this monday is a holiday, I am canceling this weeks run. This is so that those who choose to celebrate will not miss out. -
So far, I have not been able to locate any members of the 6th House. So I am widening my search parameters. If anyone happens to see that the 6th house is still in their Coalition list, it would really help me out if you could advertise this thread. Just FYI, I am not trying to take leadership away from anyone. If someone is running it, excellent. I would just like to check up on its progress.
