New Static Team (Defenders of Guardian)

Greetings my fellow Guardians!
My name is Sirken. I wanted to introduce myself before I got to business. I have been playing COH for 18 months now. At first I had a terrible case of Alt-itis. I couldn't seem to get a toon above 30. Then I met my first Supergroup. They promised me my first level 50 toon. It just had to be a fire kin. I spent long nights sitting at my screen protecting the all important door. I guess they wanted an effective exit strategy. Anyways, the game really started to get boring. That changed when I rolled my Fire/Elec blaster. I loved that toon. I played all the content I could. I found a new love for the game. There was so much to do! As a blaster I was rolling through content like crazy. I was 50 in 2 months. Then came my Ice/Ice tanker. He just dinged 50 a few days ago. Now I face a situation. I have a goal of a level 50 in every AT. It is now time to level my defender. I am not a support style player. So to make this fun for me and hopefully meet some new players in the process I came up with this idea.

The Guardians of Paragon(An all Defender Static Team)
I would like to invite anyone and everyone to come sign up for this new team. We will be playing Monday afternoons from 2:00pm-6:00pm(EST). This will be a story arc and TF driven team. The goal is to play as much content as possible on our way to 50. We will pick up TFs as we level.

If you are interested, please leave your desired power combo and I will put you into the team roster. Slots are filling up fast. Another Sonic/??? would be great. Also, we are looking for a kin/??? and a Rad/??? Your secondaries are not something I will dictate. Have fun with those.

I rolled my character - His name is Speedy Delivery and is a Kin/Archery and is in Outbreak.

I hope we are all starting there to get the Isolator Badge.

Also, I think it might be a good idea to setup leveling packs in the group so that in case one or more of use cannot make it during the scheduled time we will be able to keep up.

first thought is to restart my emp/dp combat medic [she's only level 13].

We have a full team everyone! This is shaping up to be a great time for all. We will be meeting in Outbreak at 2:00pm Monday, July 12th. Those who have already created their toons and do not wish to get the isolator badge can meet us under Atlas shortly thereafter. We will begin running Contact missions in AP and on to the Hollows(Mostly because I want to see Frostfire get hit butt handed to him by a bunch of defenders hehe). By the time we get done with all the story arcs in Hollows it will be time for our first TF and Trial. The Positron TF and the CoT Trial. I am not positive we will get to both of them tomorrow or will push them to next week. Thank you all for signing up! Lets have a great time tomorrow.

alternatively 'sonic storm front' a mutant storm/sonic lurking in the wings if the rad and dark primaries are enough healing for the group.

I wanna thank everyone who showed up this past Monday to the first week of our all Defender team. It was a smashing success. Of course, by that I mean we successfully smashed our victi----erm our enemies and powered our way through the first set of content.

We started out in Outbreak and got our Isolator badges. A great start to what should prove to be a great career together. Next, we ran through our first contacts till everyone hit level 6. Sprinting through missions leaving justified destruction in our wake, we soon had our first safeguard mission under our belts with a nice jetpack to show for it.

Heading into the hollows, Lt. Wincott's story arc proved to be a cakewalk. As we approached level 10 the clock was ticking on scheduled playtime. We ended the night deep in Flux's arc. Next week, here we come Frostfire! Not to mention a possible Posi TF.

PS. I would like to post a screenshot but do not know how. Any tips would be great.

Great run that, really enjoyed it.

I never worked out how to embed images reliably (I think the little mountains in the edit window but I could be wrong).

Thanks for havingme along for the ride Sirken. I had a blast running with all that defendery goodness. I'm looking forward to next Monday's run.

cool! we finished frostfire and moved along in the hollows. oddly enough i reached 15th level and only play the toon during the monday sessions, though may respec later.

i will be late tomorrow if i'm there at all because my son's car died and having to look for new one before he kills mine.

The group was partially successful, sokerroo and I played for about 2 hours before he logged cause of map server issues. Capa joined us late and had to leave early.

The rest were no shows and with the exception of morrgan without any warning.

how far did you two or 3 get? the entire game's been buggy for the last week.

sorry was looking over cars for son since his engine locked up. then switch places with the ex and she helped while i took daughter out to meet friend for dinner and then trumpet lessons, for her not me so world is safe.

Sokeroo and I made level 15, we finished my contacts in the Hallows and I did not get the COT trial contact, we finished flux for Sokerroo and a Windicot for Capa.

I think we are all about the same level as the rest of you, since we were leveling slower due to leveling compact.

I understand the need to deal with Real Life, and it was very nice of you to post us a warning you might be late or a no show.

It would be nice if other 4 players would have let us know what was happening.

Hey guys, I wanted to drop in and apologize for missing our run on Monday. This is actually my first chance to sit down and do anything. Busy busy week. Anyways, Real life has become very interesting in the last week. It has forced me to take a small hiatus from the virtual world. As soon as I am able to sort everything out in the real world, I will be back by your sides fighting the forces of evil in the Digital World. Hopefully, this will not take long. Course that all depends on my own industriousness. I hope you all enjoy playing your various defenders while I am away. Go heal/buff/debuff one for me! Thanks guys. Yet again, Capa fails at Mondays.

we had fun yesterday and welcomed penny cillin into our ranks. most went from 15 to 18-19 yesterday in steel canyon helping out monty and the midnight society. we then went on to faultline to help jimmy and fusionette.

we'll be going after nocturne next monday it looks like.

Today's team went very well, we had 5 people show up (4 for the entire time, and 1 who left early, and 1 who arrived late). Most of us made at least level 20 today.

We finished the Jim Temblor and Penelope Yin story arcs in Faultline, We did the Skyway Safeguard mission and will be picking up with Doc Delilah next week.

We would like to see the rest of the team come back as soon as they can.

Insomnia hit bad last night: bed at 1am, up at 4am. Bed at 11.30am, up at 3pm. By 10pm when I bailed I was not paying attention.*
