Hey folks, I have been hard at work in the real world. I wanna thank you guys for continuing in my absence. Things are starting to look good here and I am hoping to get back to the game starting the first week of Sept. Perhaps you could let me know what levels everyone is at. I would like to try to catch up if possible. Again thanks guys!

Alrighty, Folks! After a few weeks away from game, I am back! Do not fear. You will all get your precious bubbles back. Today we will be attempting an all defende Posi (both parts). I encourage you all to come. We will begin the Posi at 1:15pm EST. I look forward to playing with all of you again, as well as meeting some of the new recruits!

We just finished Posi TF pt. 1 in 1:02:00. Only 3 of the original team showed up and Pthaquein had to leave after first mish(RL strikes again...hope everything turns out ok) We had to invite some new players to the team. So thanks to them for joining us. Things went really well. We had 2 deaths. both mine. lol I got a little overconfident. Twice. Oh well. Anyways, we will be starting Part 2 at 5pm EST tonight. See ya all there.

Sorry I was not present yesterday. My cable TV and internet access stopped working between 7:30 am and 10:30 am on Monday and did not come back until 12:15 pm Tuesday. I am still waiting for the repair people to show up for their appointment.

I am sorry I missed the TF. I will try to get it done this week.

When something doesn't go pear-shaped (EG RL or my timezone issue) and I get there, I'm pretty tired at the end. I admit that I'm not enjoying playing her as much as I was either.

Thanks for that reminder. I realize that I started the team an hour early last week. That was entirely my fault. I got my time mixed up. The correct time is in fact 2pm EST.

However, due to the fact that this monday is a holiday, I am canceling this weeks run. This is so that those who choose to celebrate will not miss out.

I will not be able to make it due to doctor appointment.

Sorry I missed Defender Monday this week. I was really hoping to make it. However, I ended up having a seriously nasty seizure which resulted in me hitting my head on a slab of concrete(repeatedly). I am pretty sure I have a concussion. I have not been able to stand or walk around for any length of time for a few days. So I have been laid up in bed. So anyways, sorry that I missed this week's run.

PS. Would everyone please send me an ingame tell or a PM here what they think could be done to make it easier for everyone to make it to each run. I am hoping we do not have to disband the team. I am willing to work out a different day, time, or whatever. Let me know what each of you need to make it work.

on the other hand i got home and garage door didn't open. went inside and the power was out and has just came on at 6pm edt. i really think the team has been cursed.

I am very glad your little girl does not have strep throat! Hopefully she gets to feeling better soon. I recommend a trip through the sewers in AP for her. I am sure the sludge there has SOME healing effects. Heh. Roll her up a baby Rad Defender and let her go max her powers in the green goo!

I was there at 1 and once again found myself alone. I think Sokkeroo is still on vacation.

I like the idea of the team. With the departure of Capa from it could we change the schedule to play Monday evenings instead of the afternoon

So I found myself laying in a hospital bed last night around 10pm. What led up to this point was a massive migraine coupled with a pretty nasty "seizure"(though now I know that they are not in fact seizures but something called dystonic movements.) They ran a CT on me to make sure the blow to my head had not produced any internal bleeding. It had not. Ended up giving me an Adavan(Spelling?) That was at 10:30pm. I did not wake up till 1:30 pm today. Well unless you count the short period of time around 4:00 this morning where my wife says I woke up complaining that someone had trapped me in a bubble and was making me drink water out of a hamster bottle. Hmm. Wierd night. So anyways, I have to have a follow up with internal medicine tomorrow. We will see what the treatment plan is. Though if past experience is any indication, I am gonna be drugged out of my gourd for the next few months. That means lots of sleeping and a general sense of being a zombie. Hopefully I will be able to get online from time to time but its not looking good. Please enjoy the game, and even more so enjoy the Real World.
