A strong argument can be made that the huge amount of hormones running around a 19 year old male's brain like their pants are on fire is in fact a valid physiological reason. One recent study has likened the hormonal influx during the teenage years to cocaine addiction.

God knows at 19 I wasn't fit to be let out of a house or near a means of communication. Or popcorn for that matter.

The Farming Thread was no longer useful and had become a home to a number of negative behaviors. Also as it had become increasingly difficult to moderate (think about trying to track down a conversation in threaded mode) and had a number of violations it was removed.

Mod08 is pretty farmable in game. The build is not something I seriously considered and I am unenhanced at the moment.

Debating the merits of this study is ok. Personally attacking the professor is a violation of the Message Forum Rules and Guideline. As I said in the general thread, let's be the bigger people in this situation.

Sometimes posts that are downstream from a violation get removed as well as the offending post. The posts in question were removed because something that they replied to was in violation. There is no conspiracy, just ordinary forum moderation.

It's always best not to reply to posts that are in violation. Because if we have to remove the section (for one reason or another) your post will go too.

And commenting on moderator action definitely is against the forum rules (because we can't discuss why anything specifically was removed, as that would be a violation of the privacy of those who had something removed). If you have comment about it send me a pm.

Threads discussing other MMO's are not allowed outside the Comic Hero/Villain forum and we do not allow direct comparisons as per the Message Forum Rules and Guidelines.

That being said in CoH the focus is not on the "end game" content, but rather the game as a whole. There is a fair amount of content designed for high level characters, but it is not the focus of the game.

Similarly the advanced "loot" such as IO's or Hami-O's are not necessary for playing the game but do make a dramatic difference if you choose to use them. Our content is balanced around the purchasable enhancements and any content should be completable with those enhancements only.

As for super groups yes, there is a huge number of great groups and many use other applications for voice communication (teamspeak, vent, skype, etc.) as a supplement to the in game chat. I won't recommend any specifically but a great way to get to know people is to use your server forum. Ask around there about different groups and you will probably be surprised at the amount of positive feedback you receive.

As for PvP I can't offer too much advice, as I am not a huge PvP'er personally. If you are interested in seeing it in action and trying it out, I'd suggest you attend a couple events held on your server by the PvPEC. They support a wide level of skill ranges and have events designed for the newer players as well as veterans.

On a completely personal note however, if my daughter were to be so influenced by this video game and the options available in it, I would by far prefer she choose cross-dressing to bank robbery. Your mileage of course may vary this is just my personal opinion.
