Is there a theme or we can use any Halloween costume? I have a great Gene Simmons costume template saved I can use or my Robocop costume.

Is this ladder still in progress? When does the next ladder start?

I have a Psi/EM blaster, Psi/MM blaster, Elec/MM blaster, Emp/Psi defender, Emp/Sonic Defender, Cold/Dark defender, Dark/Cold Corrupter, and a few more that I PvP with. I am just trying to think something else to mess around with in the arena.

In the past I had great success PvPing with a Rad/Pain and a Energy/Pain and I now want to try Psi/Pain. The heal and regen aura is what draws me to the Pain set. I now want to try it with the Psi primary since it does a crap load more damage. For my build I am planning on getting Reactive and Spiritual incarnates and I am thinking of getting Ageless Total Radial Invocational for the +recharge, +End, and +debuff resistance. Listed below is my build and let me know what needs to be changed.

With Mental Training + Ninja Run + Sprint + Swift = about 65mph and I dropped my travel powers for PvE and slotted 4 KB IO's and I am fine.
If I remember I will look at your build when I get home, but from what I can tell it doesn't look like your defense or resist is slotted to well, but I really cannot tell until I see the numbers. -
Quote:I made a drawing to help out the idea.I do think changing the Photon Seekers to something similar to Dark Extraction would help a great deal; however I would not like to see a clone of the power with a PB color change.
How about using the old Light Form animation and create only one pet and name it Protostar. This new pet will be your primary pet and will have its own range attacks and can be killed, healed and buffed. It will also summon Photon Seekers the same way Protector Bots from the mastermind set creates Seeker Drones. By doing it like this, I believe some players will still be happy to have their Photon Seeker and now they have a new pet to tag along during fights.
I would like to be able to create more than one Protostar at a time so it should have the same recharge time and duration as the Dark Extraction; however if someone thinks that more than one will be overpowered then give us just one pet and the ability to control it like the new Lore Pets. By doing this I believe being able to cast one Protostar at a time will be enough.

These are the power I was going to pick. I used a scrapper setting on mids to select the powers I want.

Just trying something different and he is 50 already. I have 2 regen scrappers, but I have not PvPed with them in years. One of my scrapper still has his original build when IO's came out...lol

I am trying to build a KM/Regen brute for arena PvP and I have a few questions I hope someone can answer.
1. Is tough and weave needed on a Regen build?
2. How much recharge is needed for a regen? I currently have 85% in bonuses, is that enough?
3. I am planning on getting Spiritual, Reactive, Barrier, and Pyronic for my Incarnates. Are these a good choice?
4. What is a good Lore Pet for a regen?
5. My power pool choices are Speed, Leaping, Fighting, and Concealment. Since I cannot get tactics from leadership, is Focus accuracy from the PPP/APP worth getting?
6. Since Regen is a clicky set, would it be smart idea to get Burnout?
Thanks for your help... -
Hello Virtue!
I am looking for a heavily themed Super Group with little to no RP. I have nothing against RP, it is just that I cannot type fast and I have trouble getting into character. I do like to write a back story for all my characters and I do like an SG with a story behind it. As for a theme, I am open to anything. I would like to join a SG with a uniform or dress code. I am prior military in RL and I guessed that rubbed off on me. I love it when you can look at a group of people and they have the same uniform. I am willing to build a character with the restrictions needed to fit the theme, such as AT restrictions, power restrictions, origin restrictions, etcÂ… I have years of experience of playing in the game. I have played one of every AT to 50 without Power leveling, I have been a member of two PvP leagues, and I was also a VG leader for over 3 years. Now I rather become a member of an SG and not have to deal with maintaining a base, building prestige, planning events, and scheduling meetings. If anyone has a SG that fits please send me a PM or post it on this thread.
Thanks and Rock on Virtue! -
Even if the WS uses procs, focuses on single target attacks and gets Aidself would it be even?

Could a Warshade ever beat a Peacebringer in a one vs one PvP match if both players have equal PvP skills?

I just want to see the Costume....lol

Quote:Thank You for your help.It was a joke rule that comes with understanding the way Arena PvP works.
Most teams will be running 2 support 4-5 blasters with the last spots being filled in by rads, stalkers or dominators. Maybe even a disruption spot.
7 blasters is not ideal, there will be no heal decay and two emps who are on point can usually handle "damage spam" (which is what happens in the zones) indefinitely. In arena PvP the offense creates a damage spike, where all the damage comes in at once. If the spike target is intelligent, they will evade/pop greens/ get heals from the emps as they are moving away from their attackers. (Evasion routes!) It is usually less about out damaging the emps and more about their timing and positioning.
If you are losing to a team who runs 7 blasters, its not because they ran 7 that you lost. Its that their players are better practiced than yours and you'd have likely lost just as bad if not worse if their team was running 2 emps and 4 or 5 blasters. -
I am an occasional zone PvPer and my arena skills kinda suck. I would like to get into it more arena pvp; however IMO I think 7 blasters is a bit to much. I have never used a "Jump Team" before and did not know it was the norm. I wanted to see if it would be worth transfering some characters to freedom.

Limit of 7 Blasters
No Thanx.
P.S. They should have the same limit as stalkers. -
