Either Bane or NW, the NW can take a hit fair bit more than the Bane once the scaling resist kick in. And they have DDR, which the Banes lack, for whatever reason.



The Banes have some nice KD affects, a nice smashy feeling, and nothing says I Love you more than a Executioners Strike while hidden.

Ugh, its gonna take me forever to get used to these new forums. At least I got to keep my post count!

Wolf Spiders are much easier to get to 24 than Widows. Getting mine up there was like pulling out my fingernails and dipping the tips in acid.


But yea, Wolfs and Crabs are pretty much the same, except Crabs seem to be more survivable.

He talks in zones sometimes apparently, but after he wipes the floor with you, he dosent parade it around like other folks from what I've seen.

I agree BS was not a very good choice for this round of proliferation. Fm or Ice would have been a better choice to have a different play style.

I agree what you are saying here. BS and NB/Katana are too alike. They need something else so that you can differentiate between them, besides recharge/animation/damage. This goes for Scrappers as well.


I'm hoping that Castle will take a look at and BS and NB/Katana and give them each something that is different from the other. Doubt it will happen, but there is still a chance perhaps.

I was just talking about myself. I prefer Dominators to Blasters, and I love control sets. Blasters seem to weak to me, and haveing a pet that can take aggro is helpful(unless your Mind, but they get a whole ton of "pets" with MC)


That was IMO, probably should have stated it as such.

After GR, I see no reason to play Blasters for me.

Dominators do almost* Blaster level ranged damage and bring much more to a team.




* I think the range mod for Dominators is a bit lower, but the melee damage is higher I think.

I have yet to read a good example of why BS for stalkers is a bad choice or makes no sense.


Sure it's no FM, but I imagine we will get that next go around. That or Ice. Either way I'm happy.

I've fought him once or twice on my bane. Our team managed to kill him, but only because he go stuck in the animation time of Incandescent Strike.


He's one tough cookie. I've only see him die once or twice.

Since the stalker resist cap is 75%, and have the lowest HPs out of all the melee ATs, its probably not a good idea.


If you have sufficient team support, I'm sure you could take the alpha strike. As for tanking(holding aggro), I'm not sure.

I was thinking the fist slam that Statesman uses. That would be pretty awesome.

Yes, BaB did a excellent job on DBs animations. I wonder what the Super Strength and MA new animations will look like.

I think I heard him say that FS's animation will be a fist smash or something...

I just hope that Broad Sword isn't epic fail for stalkers. I wouldn't mind it being a middle of the road set. Not as much damage as EM, but more than NB.
