The tank is just trying to help you build character. And debt.

Flight or Long Range Teleport.
Or for lulz, Confuse to use on politicians and see what happens next. -

Just released:

I see some gloating, talking about killing Darrin Wade as Wade's 'reward' for destroying Statesman for them since they don't want him getting cocky.
And then ugly crying in the shower. -
Guys with ponytails are jerks.

Oh wow, your art is nice! So I'll hopefully submit...
Eileen Mirza is Hidden Depths! She is a student majoring in mad science at Paragon University.
She has the amorality that comes with that route in life, which is demonstrated by the fact she signed up as a hero for the sole purpose of using the varied criminal element of Paragon as live (and dead and robotic) testing units for her water and ice devices.
Her costume was the result of her laying in bed for an hour thinking until she spotted her goldfish and thought 'HEY!'
In reality, her costume was my best attempt at making a goldfish costume before the fishfins costume piece was made available this halloween. But I'm still pretty pleased with it. -
I like the idea of seams, or a subtle weave texture. Or both!
And stuff with folds would be wonderful. I really like the resistance pants that are like tights, but with foldy bits. and would like to see more like that! -
I like Nemesis flips the off-switch!
Hmm.
I don't know, but it starts off with "Wanna see something cool?" -

Who looked up to Statesman? *I* always looked up to Back Alley Brawler and Blue Steel!
-
I liked it. I played it on Thea Anastasis, my scrapper.
After I collected my hero merit off Statesman's corpse, I went to Fort Trident to cash it.

Haters gonna hate and people on internet forums gonna argue. It's the circle of life.
How right anyone is at a given point depends on the person, the situation, and mood. -
I like Praetoria.
Not enough to play the new trials, mind, but I've been having fun as a lowbie.
Totally agree on how interchangeable the female villains seem.
Also not sure why every new thing is Praetoria. Am not looking forward to having the same thing happen with the Battalion. I like variety and single titles for my characters, not massive crossover events.
I forgot where I was going with this comment. -
Oh oh! In the golden age/silver age thread, I suggested using the loincloth long to create a long leg slit type gown like you see old school comic femme fatales wear.

You got an F in the invention tutorial.

Thank you!
I was looking in the directory thread up above, but wasn't really finding what I was looking for.
I'll check these links out, thank you again -
Quote:Yeah, that's why I personally avoid using the words like skanky, hoochy, whatever, in these discussions. Because there's nothing wrong with skin! Also I dislike them in general.Hyperbole aside, there's nothing wrong with showing skin. Diabolique's new look doesn't look "skanky" in the least. Less clothes =/= automatically skank. "Skank" is much more so in the attitude rather than the clothes alone. She's not looking flirty or making suggestive poses. In fact she's oozing with matronly authority and ready to smite whoever stands in her way.
Are the bushwomen in Africa "skanks" because they wear less clothes than women in most other areas of the world? No. It's all in the attitude.
That said, it's not like this is some kind of costume set where women get only a metal bikini and men get fullplate. If that happens, then you can complain. No, this is a canon character and the devs are free to make her look any way they want. Frankly I think they chose right with the Maleficent/Evil-Lyn vibe they have going for her.
But sometimes it gets a little too objectifying/certain male fantasy and less about making any sense and it gets really skeevy.
I do like her a lot from the shoulders up. I mean, the furnace is kinda ridiculous, but it's a good ridiculous.
EDIT: Also, I was doing the beta intro mission to DA and it pleased me I could do the entire thing with the coyote travel power. I was pretending I was Diefenbaker from Due South. -
Quote:That reminds me of the time a cover by Alex Ross (if you don't know who he is, he's a painter who does very realistic hero stuff, often by using a real human model) where he simply painted what a dude really looks like in spandex.Sadly, he apparently has nothing left to thrust with. Poor States. :-(
(Okay, I guess he looks much the same in the current screen, but at least in that picture his lack of assets doesn't have that attention-grabbing "Hey, viewer, look at my TOTALLY FLAT CROTCH!" thing going on right in the center of the composition that the new one does. Maybe it's just because it happens to be directly in my eyeline on my monitor, but it makes me sporfle every time I see it. Underwear of STEEL.)
There was this one thread on some comics board, I think it was one of the big ones, where they were just horrified. 'This is completely inappropriate!' and 'Now I know how women feel!' and 'This is unnaturally huge!' (guy was perfectly average)
It was the Best Thing Ever. -

May I suggest any of Marilyn Monroe's hairstyles? I was googling them for a good retro-style and was like, oh my goodness, these are all good!
Echoing the idea of hair you can colour to make it look like the man is older. -

I think you could make good use of the baggy top for this. When I think of Golden Age/Silver costumes, I think of how the tights were always kinda loose. So a few new baggy top options would be good for that.
More for the tucked in pants too. Although the Resistance pants have been really good for this, but they've got darker bits that don't quite work.
Oh, some work on the v-necks? They've got no detail, so they come off as kind of a creepy flesh shelf so I haven't been using them for retro costumes, but with some work or a redesigned version, they would be *amazing*
Tunics! A lot of old hero costumes used tunics.
Is there a way to do a really long loin-cloth thing? I'm thinking of the villainnesses/heroes who had those long-dress things with huge slits up the legs, so a loin-cloth costume piece cut right could imitate that. -
Quote:Bad_Influence, Bad_Influence, I'm coming in the night to steal your girly thiiiiings.Yet.
It'll be here, don't worry. We're already seeing its little cousin, aka "Someone make the devs cover up Diabolique now!!" We also saw it in spades during the infamous "OMG GUNSLINGER PARTS BAD!!!" thread. Once we get that done it is a short hop to "Ghost Widow is too sexy, make her costume work-safe too."
