Oooh... You guys have any openings? Perhaps one of those entry level positions. I am an artist, but I can't meet the "industry standard" thing. Sort of ran out of money for college before I reached that point.

To bad my mom still doesn't realize we can't afford college anymore. I will have to convince her first then see if I have any real skills I can use for a halfway decent job. I am sort of only good at art.

I was having fun with my suboptimal suck-o-matic build. Now my build doesn't appear to be viable. Just to play my MA/regen I have to resort to using cheap tricks, and plenty of inspirations. I didn't feel overpowered before the change, and I was having fun sucking.

Hell.. I got my as smacked down by seven crey minions only two levels above me(and evens at one point, but that was a foolish underestimation of their damage potential).

Now? I find myself struggling on rugged. I survive, but I struggle. Even a measly +1 freakshow LT will eat my lunch if I am not carefull. I resort to trickry and a "slight" explotation(not a true exploit, but I think of it as such) of my abilty to knockback to my great advantage.

At least I have only died once. Exploits and lame tricks aside, I am to big of a chicken to die. That once came from mobs I couldn't see. I only saw three freakshow. THis time 7 +1 minions did me in. Somewhere around... seven to ten seconds after the additional mobs showed up to greet me.

Should have ran. ::Sigh::

Seriousness now.. Let me give a little warning. "Be carefull what you wish for. You might just get it." I am trying to find a delecate way to put this, but I have failed. I guess I will just come right out and say it then. If you guys get "to good" then every other AT will start breathing down your necks again. , but seek a moderate fix. Small steps in the desired direction is probaby best. The last thing you guys probably want is a series of fixes and nerfs that overcorrect the problem the previous nerf/fix made.

I will stop there. I have my own thoughts(like.. outright damage mitigation in the form of defense would probably draw to much attention), but I don't have any good solid blaster experience. I will leave having wished you guys the best of luck.

I am under the impression that Statesman is the same person since the name was first taken back before WW2. I would like to see that helmet off, but I think his mastery of his own "will" keeps him young. I don't think he is immortal though.

I think you hit the nail on the head.

I love the idea of keeping wormhole single target and simply gutting dimensions shift from the set. Making it a dissorient that pulls everything into one spot is just.. Well it was a stroke of genious on the part of who thought of it first. Maybe a very violent pull toward the center, and the resulting WHAM causes the dissorient rather than the gravity itself(Yeah yeah. No real diffrence in the end, but this would make great RP sense).

I have a grav/kin in mothballs, and I will say this without beating around the bush. The changes on test are simply not enough to get me to play her again. I had actualy been looking forward to the single target wormhole myself. It actualy gives me LESS of a reason to play her. When all is said and done it just feels very much like we got thrown a bone to shut us up for a while. Oh well.. I was sort of looking forward to playing her again. She was interesting while I could bare to play her.

I don't have any male characters myself*, but I could honestly care less what someone plays. It isn't like I make a point of hitting on people in game. Plenty of cute guys at the community college to do THAT. Um.. I mean.. Play what you want and have fun. If someone freaks out on you then that most likely means that they are insecure about something.

Though I must admit that I rarely get hit on. That might be due to the fact that Kitty(my main) wears some of the baggier choices. Though I do remember a comment on Space Kitten. "You are the cutest cat from space I have ever seen." I was in a group that was fighting things to high for me to even have a token amount of usefulness. When I commented the leader replied with that. They said it was alright that I was basicly a leech. So yes.. the fairer sex does tend to get treated diffrently in game. Thankfully I have only seen the good part of it. To this date I haven't been harrased by some horny little brat**.

On a final note... Part of the scantly clad female problem is due to the character creator itself. My latest alt is somewhat indecent thanks to the fact that most of the good choices are.. skin tight and tissue thin. Might as well wear PAINT when you go out to fight crime.

Honestly I don't think adding damage is the solution at all.

Then again.. Playing gravity is like being given a million dollars on the condition you let someone stab you. On one hand being a controller is so fun to play at times. It gives me a real sense of stratigy. The very idea of control over gravity is awesome in itself as well. On the other the "control gap", stacked with the natrual problems controllers have, is unbearable when faced with large groups. I haven't seen a small group yet that actualy gains any use out of me other than the punching bag syndrome. I would take my XP leeching [censored] out solo, and unburden the groups I stay with, if I could do it at more than a snail's pace.

Even more depressing is the fact that controllers are still a "long term goal". At this rate I am tempted to remake Space as a Kinetics defender. Though at the same time I would feel terrible for abandoning the AT. Her concept fits gravity better too. I could probably resist the urge to stab myself in the head as a defender, but I would be betraying both the controller AT and my character's concept.

Ugh.. I wish I could just create two characters with the same name. Otherwise I have no clue what I should do.

I know.. isn't it amazing? I mean all of my concerns are suddenly GONE. Statesman is so clear and concise and knows exactly what to say.

Erm.. Ok.. seriously though. It is nice to know that the devs ARE still looking and that we haven't been cast aside. I love controling(I actualy feel chalanged when I do it) and my grav controller, but I will admit we need help. I would just have liked to know what kind of help we are getting.

Come on Statesman.. anything.. anything at all? You can even use your patented "Statesman's Super Sonic Ultra Powerfull Encryption System"! So what if we don't understand it. We can at least pretend you told us something.
