Some of these stories sound more like Olivia Munn than Felicia Day. Munn has been quoted that she really was never into the culture and just used it as a springboard. Everything I've ever seen on Day seems to point towards her being pretty sincere.

But his natural talent and willingness to take risks to himself and others (while the things people criticize him for) is actually what allows him to save the day eventually winning him over to his peers and superiors. My fire/storm/stone went for as much +rec and +end. I know people feel like you have to go for +def, but I'll just say she was easily beating +3 and +4 spawns in Cimerora in the mid 40s with ease and can run +2/6-8 missions without blinking and without the "benefits" (note quotes) of soft capping. It's such an end hog I highly recommend +end +rec as a priority.

Poorly worded and articulated on my part. Not the same 5 year gap, but some kind of jump forward. Like I said at the pace of the books (not the real world pace) we'll never see certain things that seem to be important i.e. Rickon's return and Sam becoming the maester of Castle Black. Two things I think will be important to the end of the series. I think the 5 year gap is the same as GRRM originally intending it to be a trilogy. The story got bigger and he realised he had to move things around. I think some of the original ideas of the 5 year gap are still unadressed now that we haven't had one, and I think at some point (even deep into the last book) we'll see some kind of leap forward. I won't bet my life on it, but I feel pretty confident.

(Also I apologize if I'm scrambling a bit. I'm writing this while eating Pad Thai at lunch)

From everything I've heard he has said yes it would just be two books, but they would be rather large.

Speculation time:

I think the next book will be paced pretty much the same as the series but I have a feeling the last book will have the 5-year-jump that he'd originally planned a few books back. I think we'll get the build up to the big event/battle and for the most part the end of the "action". I think the realm will be left in a bit of a vacuum as it cleans up the mess of the first six books and I think the series will jump forward in time for the last book where he'll tie up things in a pretty little noose........err I mean bow. The next book may have a bit of a cliff hanger and I can see the last book starting off immediately following and the five year jump happening in the middle of that book to serve as an extended epilogue.

It just seems like a few of the characters need to age faster than the pace of the books, and I'm convinced some of them will be important down the road. (i.e.: Rickon) And they need to age him at some point.

I still really hate "Sanguinistas". /shudder

And I don't buy that the Authority is sincere about mainstreaming. They all seem a little too into the Vampire Bible. I think it's all a political ruse. My guess is mainstreaming is merely a way to "fatten up and calm the herd" before the slaughter.

Control Panel-->Performance and Maintenance--->system (processor and RAM should right there) then to hardware for vid card.

Do you know which processor, how much RAM and the video card you are using?

It may be an issue with your hardware or simply your settings. It's not necessarily an issue from the game itself. That's why we've asked for your specs or recommended you go to a system requirements sight for analysis.

How about posting your processor, RAM, vid card, etc to start. It's hard to find the problem when all we have to go off is that you are laggy and you weren't before. The more information the easier it will be to help you. Also what settings do you use ingame. Not just windowed. Ultra mode on/off? Resolution? All those graphic settings etc.
